There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. Hours due to engine issues and they had to get a new plane so the rerouted two flights had To be canceled And I was stuck overnight again in Dallas. No one met me at the gate or had anything to say to me. Not really one ounce of customer service . I could tell it was Hard with the airport closing due to weather but this is an international flight and someone could have done something to help me just navigate the process over the three day period. One woman who I finally talked to in Frankfurt spent an hour with me when i was utterly exhausted and there were No more flights or hotels left She was To be commended. The rest was chaos and exhausting and I still have another flight tomorrow."

Flight attendant said she would "call to have it reset" but it never worked. Fortunately, there was an adjacent empty seat that I moved to on my own initiative and without the flight attendant offering a seat change."

Punti negativi: "The whole experience was absolutely exhausting. Gatwick airport is nothing short of a disaster. The UIA counter can't take payments and the "international" airport can only take certain forms of payment (non of which are dollars- I know it's London, but I've never been anywhere that can't accommodate this). Ukraine international airlines are extortionists that will hold you and your luggage hostage with arbitrary baggage policies. 6kg is the cabin policy by the way. And if you don't read the fine print, you too can spend $80 to check a TSA approved hand bag. That's right. 12kg and all it cost me was EIGHTY US DOLLARS. Then they printed the incorrect boarding pass. When I returned, in a hurry because this whole ordeal lasted 45 minutes, the agent at the check-in counter demanded I "say please" to get my correct boarding pass. I've flown on 4-6 segments per week for the last four years. I understand how to communicate with airline agents, but wow... These people are off their rockers. During this whole conundrum, they even checked two people in under the same name. These people are in no way qualified to be operating an airline or maintaining personal information of any sort."

Punti negativi: "Bought two RT tickets with baggage fees included from Kiev to Prague...and was not charged a baggage (or any other) fee on the way out. Had no other problems in any other respect either. However, on the way back to Kiev from Prague I WAS charged a baggage fee...by an "agent" that UIA uses to check-in its passengers in Prague...and it was not a small (or normal) baggage fee either. Rather, it was 50 euros per bag ($110 US dollars) in total for two under-the-allowed weight and size bags. OUTRAGEOUS!! I paid the fee with my Am Ex card and when I complained to Am Ex they froze the fee instantly. I think this "agent" will lose by the time all the dust settles. My point is this: BEWARE when you use UIA outside of the Ukraine...because it employs clearly unscrupulous agents."

Solo un sposrtello con una ragazza a gestire almeno 500 persone che stavano in fila con i problemi varii... insomma abbiamo perso tanto tempo e alla fine siamo arrivati a Roma.... però Fly ua è una compania aerea davvero incompetente."

They provided 2 meals on out 9+ hour flight that were unexpected as everything I read indicated that there would be no on flight meals provided, so that was nice. There was always one little thing in the meal that was a bit weird, but overall the meals were rather good. And once they put on the movies, they kept them coming, which really helped the time pass on such a long flight."

They didn't appear to enjoy their job at all and rearly smiled, which I found odd as I took a total of 4 flights and only the male attendants on one flight smiled.... but after seeing the typical cliental they have to deal with I guess I can understand their dislike! (If I had to deal with people allowing their children to run around like animals for 10 hours with not a word against their actions I might be a bit pissed as well!) And with all airline, they shrink the seats to cram as many people on the plane as possible, so the seats were not altogether that comfortable, but again, that's all airlines. Other wise the only technical issue that I wish should have been disclosed is in Venice there is no Counter for Ukraine Air, they use another airline as their counter support so it was a bit confusing and frustrating when they where unable to print both tickets! Had to get in separate line in Kiev to get second boarding pass."

The person sitting next to me was so large that I could not put the armrest down in the middle and he had the entirety of his leg pressed against mine for the duration of the flight. The food was horrible and gave me stomach problems. The airplane was old and seemed rickety. The in-flight service were 3 movies put on sequentially over a tiny central monitor which were subbed in Chinese."
