Punti positivi: "Il personale estremamente attento e gentile. Non è facile lavorare con le maschere e occhiali per tutta la durata del volo. Trovo che hanno fatto di tutto per rendere il nostro viaggio sicuro dal puto di vista della battaglia contro il virus."

Though it’s certainly not the airlines fault that there was an issue with a passenger, they should’ve been a lot more transparent and gave us a lot more information on what exactly was going on other then “we need to go back to a special area to get this passenger off.” Couple that with the security checks to “make sure there is nothing on the plane that shouldn’t be” and very little explanation of what actually occurred, it made for a very stressful flight. Not knowing if this passenger had made any kind of threat against the plane, or safety of other passengers... etc, it was very hard to feel safe for the remainder of my trip being left in the dark as the incident occurred in first class."

We would have missed it if I didnt as the ticket counter when is the Seattle flight going to go up on the screen. Poor communication on Alaska airlines part. Not very happy with that I had to rush to the other terminal because I had the wrong information on my boarding pass."

Punti negativi: "1. It was a 15+ hour flight. Only breakfast and lunch were served, where three are justified. 2. I had a pre-selected (vegetarian) meal which was both meagre and mediocre when flying out of JFK. It was a grossly insufficient amount of food for the long duration of the flight. I had what was essentially a small tray of chickpeas for 'breakfast'. Crazy! 3. The noodles that are on offer for snacks throughout the flight were chicken or beef. Vegetarians do not have anything to eat except cookies and some fruit (which goes quickly when set out!) 4. No eye mask, earplugs, toothbrush or toothpaste. These are basic amenities. Had to ask for an eye mask and then one was provided. Some airlines even provide in-flight socks (and yes, I am talking about economy travel here)."

There is no priority for Premium. The staff are efficient but service is basic. No sign of staff except when they are serving food. Seats are fine for a day flight. We were not told about the possibility of our flight being cancelled as we arrived at check-in, we were allowed to check our bags first, issued boarding passes and *then* we were told to come back to check in counter in 3.5-4 hours. Our checked luggage had already been taken and with it, clean clothes, toiletries and other items that could have made the waiting more comfortable. After coffee and a snack we decided to check in to the capsule hotel at Narita. Minimum stay was one night at that hour of the day - for stays after 6pm. While I appreciated that Cathay got us out later that evening, the plane we flew was one of the oldest in the fleet: the seats did not recline at all so it was very uncomfortable. It was a late night flight but no one was offered pillows or blankets. (I did receive one upon request). We arrived in Hong Kong in the early hours of the next morning - 3 hours late - after the airport train had finished running so I paid for a taxi home which I normally would not need to do since I already had a train ticket. so my flight experience did cost me some extra money this trip."

I compare this with Premium Economy class flights with other airlines I have flown and I will elect not to fly Cathy Pacific again. I also found the food and the service below average. No option for wine on this flight, just red or white."

The Ovo-lacto meal that was given to my wife and I was OK compared to the actual vegetarian option that was present on the menu. The airline should inform passengers in advance that a certain leg of the journey would have vegetarian options."

He was climbing over seats, yelling at people, etc. My husband is a US Marshall, he finally got up and identified himself with his badge to the flight attendants and asked if they would like him to assist. He helped try and talk the crazy man down. So basically my husband was on guard for the whole flight, we couldn't sleep at all as he was watching and helping with the lunatic on the plane. When we landed, the police escorted the man off the flight and the head attendant said he would be placed on Cathay's "no fly list" I feel that Cathay should reimburse us for part of the flight due to the severity of the situation and the fact that my husband assisted the staff when he didn't have too! Again, not a way to spend your honeymoon flight having your husband have to work and not be able to relax and enjoy our time together."

Punti negativi: "I booked through Budget Air and was initially online able to confirm seats and meals for my husband and I online with Qantas easily. Months out my flight was cancelled and I was rebooked onto a later flight that would have made us miss all of our transfers to our honeymoon on Fitzroy Island. Because I had booked through 'a 3rd party' Qantas refused to assist me. I managed to convince budget air to change our flights. We were moved to a jetstar flight from Melbourne to cairns. I had to confirm that this had occurred and go through multiple people online to reallocate seats and food options for my husband and myself again. Only my luggage allowance was carried across to jetstar and neither of our meal allowances were. When it came to online check-in with jetstar I could not check my husband in online only myself. I spoke to multiple people online who all confirmed they didn't know why or there was no problem and we should just present ID and check in in person. When we got to the airport Qantas had not transferred the e-ticket code across for my husband's booking and this is why we could not check him in online. The jetstar staff had to try to get his original booking code from Qantas. As it turned out I had to original booking code through budget Air in my hand and had to assert this information to staff. Flying back we were able to check in online fine with Qantas. Our boarding passes printed different sizes but did not present a problem when we dropped off our luggage. When we sent to check in the staff member couldn't get the smaller pass to read and my husband had to assert that he also had it on his phone. Despite all of my online conversations the aisle seat was allocated to me and not my husband who required it because of a medical condition and the flight was 30min delayed. We won't be traveling with Qantas or jetstar, or booking through budget Air again."

Had to wait on plane while airbridge was brought to the plane so everyone could disembark - “they weren’t expecting the flight!!” Whole flight still waiting for luggage after 55 minutes of standing at carousel and only after 55 minutes an announcement to say handlers are tending to a departure and we have to wait another 10 minutes - a whole hour for luggage - take carry on only next time!!!! 4 flights collecting luggage from the one carousel!!"
