First, the flat bed is not transformed by a button and it needs a physical person to flip it over. The mat is thin and I can feel some hard edges while lying down. The noise from the engine transmits to the bed and it is hard to sleep even with the noise cancellation headphone."

I am usually very quite and light on demands as i hardly hit call button on the seat to get any assistance, but during meal, I was asked about drink and I opted for Ginger ale. Crew said, she will get back to me and I did not hear from her for another 10 mins, then there was repeat serve of drinks and I was asked if i needed any thing and asked the same drink, but then I was asked to wait. After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"

Punti negativi: "We were supposed to fly back to Los Angeles from Tokyo on Wednesday, August 24th. We got to Tokyo Narita a little later than planned due to the Narita Express train being delayed. I had received emails that our flight had changed gates, and was then delayed, but when my sister and I went to check into our flight, we were told we were unable to board because it was too late. I thought it was absurd because the flight had not even started boarding, and I had gotten an email saying it was delayed. We tried to reason with them, but they would not let us on the flight. It was imperative that we got back to Los Angeles on Wednesday, but all our plans were ruined due to them bumping us off the flight. My sister had a connecting flight to Boston, which she then had to reschedule and was charged for. We were stuck another night in Tokyo, where we had to spend money on a hotel. The Singapore Airlines attendants eventually informed us that we could get on a flight the next day. This delayed us by 24 hours, which was highly inconvenient. It was also especially unnecessary since due to the flight being delayed, we would have absolutely been able to make it. I do not appreciate being bumped off of a flight due to airlines wanting to make more money, especially being stuck overseas. Its not like it was a domestic flight where we could just hop on another one in the next few hours, this totally derailed all of our plans. I do not appreciate the inflexibility of the Singapore Airlines agents, and this is not an experience that makes me want to recommend flying with Singapore Airlines. I appreciate that they did not charge us, however it was a major inconvenience that could have simply been avoided by better customer service and understanding."

My flight schedules were changed few days before departure by Qatar Airways, but only thing I had to do was to confirm that I have noted, my seats and all the rest of details intact, excellent."
Punti negativi: "I was not given any option regarding the change of my departure flight from Colombo. Originally it was scheduled for 13th 3.25AM and it was brought forward to 12th night 20.20. This caused inconvenience to me and my family to wait 7 hours for the connecting flight to Johannesburg from Doha. When the flight is changed by airline for their convenience, they would have given preferential treatment to the passengers involved. We had to bare the cost of food and make us comfortable on our own due to the delay in transit."

I had to search for someone to help me to clear up and then I felt as though I was an inconvenience. I then had to look for someone to bring food for myself and other child. My other child is 1yr and 11 months and I was told they were only allowed baby food not a child meal. Although there were a few spare seats on the plane I was squashed into a full row with a 3 yr old and one year old on my lap. I appreciate that there may not have been any bassinet seats left but would have been helpful not to be on a full row as a single adult travelling with two small children. No offers for assistance with bags."

Punti positivi: "I travel from Sydney to Europe (UK and Greece) regularly. My experience with Qatar airways was fantastic: I highly recommend it. First of all, the travelling hours are a bit shorter (compared to travelling via Singapore or Hong Kong) probably because of the geography of the cities/connections and the corresponding flight times between Athens-Doha-Sydney. The aircraft was exceptional (I believe it was Airbus A380). It was a double-deck, wide-body and four-engine jet airliner. Cabin and economy class seats were very comfortable and more spacious compared to other aircraft. There was minimal turbulence, which is partially due to the type of aircraft: at least this is my understanding. The aircraft also had wi-fi (complimentary for the first 15 min) and one was allowed to use the mobile phone during the flight (except during take off and landing times). The flight attendants were absolutely amazing. Also, the crew was very understanding and friendly with children. Food was also excellent and in good portions. Overall there was high tech aircraft, excellent service and no delays. I will choose it again in the future."

My understanding is that this was not an option, due to problems providing free password..."

The food was not great. Perhaps not qatar's fault(?) but we bought duty free alcohol in Brussels and took as carry on then after a layover in Doha we were advised Australian regulations prohibited us from taking it on board for the final leg - even though it was still sealed in the duty free bag. We were forced to check it protected only by some lightweight clothing and a thin back pack we had been using as cabin luggage. Fortunately it made it undamaged - but it would be better if we had been informed of this at Brussels."

I am a Gold Member of Star Alliance for more than 20 years and have flown dozens of times on Swiss and would expect courtesy and consideration in return for my loyalty to their airline. Their flight from Hong Kong to Zurich leaves at 00:15. I mistakenly booked this for Nov 9th instead of the intended late evening of the 9th which then turns out to be Nov 10th. When I discovered my error, I called Swiss at least six times to explain my error and ask if my son could stand by for the same flight on the 10th or even apply the amount to rebook the same flight the next day. ZERO flexibility or consideration. Missed flight, lose entire value. Start from scratch. Astonished that an airline that claims to be serving their customers would treat me this way. I travel through Europe at least 6-10 times a year from Asia. I will now route through Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, London, Vienna, Instanbul or even Moscow before ever going through Zurich again. I encourage anyone making travel plans to be very careful when considering flights with Swiss Airlines. Perhaps this treatment of a loyal customer explains why they went through bankruptcy already once."

They all were fluent in English as well as several other languages. It was a nice touch when the attendant wore white gloves when he or she was collecting passengers' trash after meals and/or beverage service. I loved the cheese that was served at dinner. The warm croissants served at breakfast were a very nice touch."

The check in process was the most chaotic I've seen in recent times. No clear order, no clear counters. We bounced back and forth before we checked in our luggage. At the gate, another long chaotic line of multiple questioning and bag/body search before we boarded buses to our plane. When we boarded we found out we were split at 2 or 1 seat arrangements (out of 5 travelers). After complaining, there were able to seat at least 3 (with one lap child) together and 1 separate. The plane was uncomfortably hot all flight long despite notifying the flight attendants. The one restroom ran out of soap in the first hour of the 11 hour flight. They quickly ran out of a choice for lunch option and snacks. I fly Turkish Airlines frequently and I usually am satisfied, but this was exceptionally bad experience."

When we finally got to the gate, the employees were so kind to rush us through each step of security and get us to the door and there had to be at least 7 or 8 people who were working and doing whatever they could to get us on that flight. It meant so much! We had been up since 2am to catch our previous flight and just wanted to get home to our families and dogs! We were so grateful they worked so hard to get us on the plane!"

The moral of the story is that a passenger's time has value, DO NOT waste it. In my case, the cost was physical agony of freezing on a mediterranean island in the summer while wearing 2 shirts, long pants, and double socks. If the ground staff did everything to procedure and are thus faultless, then the procedure is reprehensible and should be updated."
