Punti negativi: We were stuck in the runway for an hour before taking off. I was late for my connection.

Punti positivi: There were major challenges on the day. 1. The French Air traffic officers were on strike. 2. A passenger became ill after boarding and had to be disembarked along with his luggage which had previously been loaded, 3. Another passenger became ill requiring paramedic attention while we waited for a lengthy period before getting permission to take off. All these contributed to delays for which the airline and crew had no responsibility. They did their best to keep us informed of progress but once we took off, much of the lost time was recovered in the air. The flight itself was fairly smooth and uneventful. Thank God.

Punti negativi: The check in process, the upgrade process, the boarding process. And, everyone just sat where they wanted, even after I paid for the upgraded seat. The crew could not care less, and I ended up with the largest person on the plane next to me, who seat jumped, so I had to sit sideways the whole fly.

Punti positivi: Due to my religious faith I had booked special meals on Turkish Airlines. ( isegnent - Turkey to Washington DC ). Not only did the crew decline having my food reservation but they forced me to have food totally against my faith. Not sure if he airlines is biased against religions

Punti negativi: We were told to go to the wrong gate. After we missed our flight, we were charged 880 USD to book for the identical flight the following day. We were taken around in circles inside the airport. Absolutely unacceptable. Would not recommend.

Punti negativi: Extremely old plain. The worst entertainment center i’ve ever seen: it was just ok for the 80’s. The crew seems to not knowing how to smile.

Punti negativi: All good but crew wasn't very attentive - for example i had had to put my suitcase quite a few rows back because of lack of space at the end of the flight i had to wait for most of the plane to empty out in order to be able to retrieve it - the crew member who had originally indicated i put my suitcase further back and who was standing right by the cabin where the suitcase was stored saw all of this but didn't move to help in the slightest even though he knew i was waiting for a chance to get to my suitcase - in my experience of customer service i would have gotten it for the passenger and brought it to them to reduce the wait time

Punti negativi: Purchased my luggage fee online and for some reason they don’t have it on their computer. Had to pay a higher price at the counter and come to find out my account still got charged for the luggage fee.

Punti negativi: My rating on boarding is due -- entirely -- on the poorly designed new Istanbul airport. Seems that bigness and lots of duty free shops were given a priority over ease of making connections. Horrible.
