Punti negativi: The first leg of our flight was packed - not one empty seat. Understandable in normal times but too close for comfort during COVID. We were offered to rebook, but we needed to travel on that day and there were no other flights available. The second leg of the flight was less crowded. Most middle seats were open.

Punti positivi: Flight was smooth, right on time and I didn’t have to to wait for my luggage. It was already coming out on the conveyor by the time I got there.

Punti negativi: I greeted the staff as I got on, I wasn't greeted before that though. On top of this we boarded late and then we didn't even make it to San Fran, instead we got to Oak. Now the weather Southwest can't control, but they should have given us payment to be able to make it to our accommodations. I don't have money just lying around to be left at a place I wasn't expecting to be left at and then pay a taxi to get across the bay to my house.

Punti negativi: The staff was rude, inconsiderate and allowed multiple passengers to sit in a sauna. At one point after multiple people had complained both staff members grabbed jackets and said they were going to turn up the heat because they were cold.
Multiple people stated they were sweating so much they were wet.
Also, social distancing is a joke with southwest.

Punti negativi: Check in procedures made us miss our flight. Many hundreds of people in line in De ver wrapping around the whole upstairs. When we got on the flight we sat for 35 minutes due to lack of ground crew.

Punti negativi: Although I purchased the in-flight wifi on the first leg of my journey, my tablet didn't connect properly to the wifi until we were at least 30 minutes into the flight. Luckly, I had downloaded some shows prior to boarding just in case.
Punti negativi: I purchased the in-flight wifi to watch my own entertainment, but the wifi only allowed me to surf the web. I could not use Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, CBS, FOX Now, or play my games.

Punti negativi: I made sure to have enough time from slc to den then to yyc. But flight to Denver got moved back 5 hours or more. Told the ticket person I am taking SWA to Denver so I could still make YYC. She said no problem and made the change but then deleted me to yyc. I just barely made the next flight to yyc after talking to the Denver agent for 20 minutes. All good to yyc and she did great

Punti negativi: Used southwest to have open middle seats and safer travel due to Covid. Was notified only 2 days before that flights would be full! Too late to rearrange all our travel plans. Other than masks on, the planes and waiting area were crowded. Social distancing was nonexistent and impossible. Did not remotely live up to safety standards we were led to expect while flying during COVID :(

Punti negativi: the attendants did NOT explain to those going on to Dallas that we had to deplane and get back on and then told us that it was a different plane and gate. I could very well have missed the flight. The process was NOT explained whatsoever.

Punti negativi: I wish the staff at ticket counter advise me to take Hawaii approved Covid test at terminal, since my test results were not accepted when I landed in Hawaii. Thanks! Now I have to quarantine for my vacation!

Punti positivi: I was grateful for the social distancing and the crew was very pleasant.
Punti positivi: I always fly southwest because they are very efficient. Their fleet is the same Boeing 737, and the boarding process is universally the same. Flights are consistently on time and even during this challenging time, they kept the middle seat open on all their flights, a true testament to just how much they really care, especially when so many other airlines are just jamming everyone on the flight because they could careless about anything but their own bottom line. Southwest is the best and they prove it every single time!
Punti negativi: My sunglasses were stolen in the airport, but reporting everything to lost and found did not help because the sunglasses were stolen, meaning someone found them and did not return them to lost and found. They don’t help with crime and even when the theft was reported to police, they did not take advantage of the cameras to see who stole the prescription sunglasses. This was very unfortunate because the person could have been caught in the act.
