"Wish the flight attendants didn’t talk so much and so loud on the speaker. Captains gave updates which was nice!"

"I booked a flight SJC to ORD. It included a layover in LAX. I had to transfer my own baggage and pay for baggage twice!"

I had a question so I spoke with the nice woman at the counter and she got me a roomier seat ( I’m 6ft all legs). It was actually a mini upgrade that included a free drink and snack. Free of charge. Do things like that even happen anymore? Considering I had just been through a death in my family and was mentally miserable ( she had no idea) she must have picked up on it. BEST FLIGHT IN YEARS. Thank you. Customer svc is everything."

Punti negativi: "I did not like that the airline allowed more than 1-2 people to accompany 1 small child when pre-boarding. I happened to be able to go in with the general boarding but was one of those who was first in line within this group. My seat which was 5C already had no overheard room!!! It appears that 1 child was accompanied by 4 adults when they pre-boarded and in addition to their carry-ons, they put their foldable stroller, backpacks and totes in the overhead bin!! The airline announced a request for people to leave the overhead bin spaces for bigger carryons but does not enforce it. Flight attendants should not feel uncomfortable actually asking to whom the backpack or tote belong to and tell passengers to put those under their seats. Somehow, passengers need to be educated on proper etiquette. Also, pre-boarding should only allow 1-2 people to accompany a child or an elderly person. Pre-boarding should not be taken advantage of by all adults traveling with those needing it."

And if they know that In advance why can’t they figure out system to let people stay at gate as long as possible. There must be way to develop a queue system that doesn’t force people to board unnecessarily. Or at least stay at gate so people can use restroom. Frustrating!!!"

Punti negativi: "In the SF airport, your crew accepted me to pay for $25 for putting my suitcase into the plane. But then, she mentioned that the flight was delayed and there was no way that I can made my connection from LA to Indianaplis. So I was given a boarding pass with my suitcase ($25 paid) only to LA. The front desk asked me to try other ways when I arrived LA to see what can be done. When I entered into the gate, your CS changed my flight to UA after I have presented my case. However, I had to pull the suitcase out from Alaska, paid another $25 to United and started the trip all over again. All the while, your crews expected me (an alien from Asia) that I should have known every thing get it through, or to claim my suitcase charges. I am really disappointed for the lack of understanding. To you, it may be something happened so common everyday. To me, I was totally lost to handle this."

After sitting in the gate area just a few minutes, the women at my flight desk announced a delayed flight(flight would depart at 10 instead of 855) The asked that passengers come retrieve their meal vouchers. She checked my boarding pass and I went and ordered myself dinner and returned to sit down close to 9pm. I waited for the screen to change for the new flight information but it never did. The terminal was busy with music and basketball finals.lost of mumbling announcemrnt so I kept checking my flight screen and it still had the original flight. I sat waiting. All of a suddent the tv changes and it’s a different destination??? I got up and asked why my flight wasn’t posted and she told me ‘sweetheart your flight left 20minutes ago.’ I was shocked. How could this happen? She informed me i’d missed my flight that was never delayed. I was so tired and worried and she kept calling me sweetheart. Telling me there were mo more flights but that she’d put me on a 6am the next morning. With my disability I was so worried I pushed and pushed and spoke to both counter airling people. Finally, I got mad and she put me on united. I am so upset about the whole ordeal. That was a surreal awful experience that had me crying on the way home."

(They also botched announcing introductions of the pilot and crew, not seeming confident who was on board or as if they in fact knew their names.) This was of course unprofessional but also introduced doubt how reliable they would be in an actual emergency."

Flight was from Seattle to Los Angeles and the weather was clear on the flight path. Two hours later, an announcement was made that it was actually because of congestion at the airport (poor planning) and yet, they did not offer anything to the passengers for the inconvenience. We boarded the plane two hours late, only to sit on the tarmac for another 40 minutes. This situation could have been handled so much better by Alaska Airlines."

Punti negativi: "Was told by TSA in los angeles that alaska airlines had selected me for an ssss on my boarding passes was checked in loreto on a 5 minute search had no carry ons went quick When in Los Angeles went thru customs and immigration no problem however when i got to security they checked my passport and said i had to have further screening had to stand 25 minutes waiting for tsa officer to take me through the line officer showed up finally they patted me down checked for nitrates took picture of my passport than sent me to gate While it was boarding had alaska agent make smart ellic comment about ssss on my boarding pass made it to Seattle than was going to take wenatchee flight gate agent said he needed all my previous boarding passes for loreto and Lax i said i threw them away he said well i will have to send you back through security here in seattle i told him i dont have enough time to make my flight he said you must have known there was Trouble my wenatchee flight fortunately had no ssss on it made my flight very long story short i will avoid alaska airlines next time."

Especiallly helping the elder and special needs clients on the flight. This was touching and emotional, since one of the passengers seemed paralyzed from a stroke and her husband was doing the best he could helping her to the bathroom. My mother in law suffered the same parálisis, so this hit home. My husband and I were also surprised to see all of the Manzanillo Airport crew waving good bye as the flight took off. This flight felt special."

Punti negativi: "I showed up to check in 45mins before the flight and they only had 1 kiosk person to service people so by the time I was helped they wouldn't let me check in and told me I missed my flight when I was there with 40 minutes to spare!!! They put me on a flight that sent me to Seattle then to Portland 3 hours behind schedule, but I'm mostly upset because I still got to the Portland gate 20 minutes before the departure time and they refused to find me and 2 other passengers a seat on the flight because they over sold out seats, seats we bought months in advance. So i was there 25 - 20 minutes before departure and people were still running up to make their flight but their seats weren't over sold... I will never be flying with Alaska again. Every other airline lets most passengers check in within 30 minutes bc I've never had this problem before. Horrible service from the Alaska McCaren Las Vegas airport lord of additude for 5am. Maybe they need new updated workers that try to work with you."

Still, plenty of entertainment and on an actual screen on the back of the seat. So I consider it only a dissapointment on an otherwise good airline."

Punti negativi: "My flight was delayed because an attendant had to be swapped out, then the replacement was stuck in traffic for an hour (why not have all attendants ready on-airport?). Comically, we taxied on the runway for over an hour, which caused more delays with the plane needing to be de-iced. Figured I'd put all that behind me, but then the flight experienced one of the worst turbulences I've been in. We jerked through the skies many times, and the pilots weren't reassuring. Thankfully we landed okay, but not after being late by multiple hours. Also, JetBlue needs to invest in its planes, esp. its Couch section. I felt like a pretzel with on room to breathe."

Punti negativi: "Major delays not only going but returning with JetBlue. This was my first time flying them and I’m likely to never use them again. Poor customer service as no one was willing to help with WiFi set up on the way going since I’ve never flown them. Luckily I found 1 nice flight attendant and he helped point me in the right direction in set up. Overall not impressed with service and performance of this carrier."

And then when the flight attendant who checked me in mocked my 2 layover itinerary and said there was a direct flight to HNL from JFK leaving later that morning, she at least could have tried to sell me a seat on that flight, rather than rudely laugh at me “I guess you can only do what you can do” like I was too poor or something. That was annoying. I’m bored of the JetBlue snack selection it’s been the same for years."

I also shared that I had a very significant cat allergy. The staff continued to be incredibly rude, and eventually offered a single seat in the back, which would not accommodate the two of us. The woman next to us also expressed her extreme discomfort and was condescended and disrespected, as well. Shocking, miserable experience."

We sat on the tarmac for almost two and a half hours, and it must have been around 85 degrees on the plane. There was a lot of miscommunication about whether we would be switching aircraft. They finally told us to deplane because we were probably going to switch planes. After 15 minutes in the terminal, we reboarded the same plane. Got to LA 3 hours late so had to deal with horrible rush hour traffic, which we had hoped to avoid had we taken off on time."

When I use the Wi-Fi for the Amazon prime option it was very spotty and had to reload quite a bit during the flight from JFK to LAX. They are by Miss clean the staff was good but the entertainment system and the movie choices were very old and not really very interesting."

Planes are not places for families to act like they do at home, it is a shared public space. The crew should make announcements that all unnecessary conversations should be avoided, to respect other people's need for peace and quiet."

Punti negativi: "There were no new movies even though the pamphlet said there should be. There also were no meals to but, which is standard for a later flight, but was still disappointing."

Punti negativi: "TSA held me up with a 30 minute bag check so I arrived for an 11:30 AM flight at 11:16 AM. I was told that because I was a minute late they wouldn't let me on even though the plane was still in the runway and connected to the terminal. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the agent disappeared for 10 minutes while the plane took off. I then went to go speak to a customer service agent who wouldn't even look at me while I spoke. She actually started listening to and talking with another agent while I was talking to her. Then when I was finished, she started arguing with me until another agent said "he's not worth it." JetBlue just lost my business."

Punti negativi: "The flight was delayed by 1hour and 40 min. One hour at the boarding gate and 40min on the airstrip. Pilot said we were overweight. When we landed at 730 vs 557 we still had a delay because our gate was occupied causing a greater dalay. Due ro this delay I was late to work. The flight attendee making the announcements might have been new because she kept messing up what she was saying and shouting and mumbling through the speaker. I usually have amazing flights with jetblue but I'm highly disappointed with this flight."

"I liked that once up, things ran more smoothly and we still landed on time despite a 45+ minute delay leaving the gate. The boarding process was another story. With the demand for proof of a negative COVID test prior to boarding by the US, Air France had just 2 staff members checking these tests results, collecting a paper affidavit of sorts also required by the US, and checking boarding passes and passports for an entire Boeing 777 full of passengers. There were other staff around This seemed preposterous. Then, when I finally boarded, the luggage was still be loaded onto the plane at 1:50pm for a flight schedule to leave at 1:15pm."

"I wrote a review to Delta already expressing my dislike of the fact that I could not get a seat assigned upon checkin or even at the airport until maybe 1 hr before my flight. The cabo representative (not part of the flight crew based from Los Angeles) was rude and not accommodating, so my wife and I had to sit separately, which was frustrating to say the least, given I had followed the entire online check in protocol, including uploading digital copies of my negative COVID-19 test."

Parte dei pasti li abbiamo pagati di tasca nostra visti i pochi dollari di buono per mangiare (7$ per la colazione, 10$ per pranzo e 15$ per la cena, spendibili esclusivamente all'Holiday Inn dove la sola colazione a buffet costava 17$ + tasse..."

I was furious and asked for at least a refund on the carry-on I had purchased an hour before and had a receipt with the time stamped. Spirit Airlines "manager" denied my request. I was beyond frustrated when they told me the next available flight was in two days! I ended up buying a ticket with a much more reliable airline and refuse to do business with Spirit again. I never received a "Time to Check-In" email from Spirit prior to my departure date which would have saved a lot of time and wasted money. What a shame."

As the result I was charged extra $ for 10 Lb over the limits. I had a small carry on and I was charged for $57 for that as well. At the end for one hour flight fro Las Vegas to LaX, I was charged all these extras which cost me significant $ above the purchase price of one way ticket from your web side. I did not know any of these until I had to deal with the agent. By the way, I could not use their self check in machine, and they charge me $10 more. And they did not have adequate staff at the gate and three sets of passenger had to cut in front of me.!! Total Disaster"

It has uncomfortable air crafts, no entertainment available whatsoever, makes you pay for carry-ons, makes you pay excessively for checked bags, makes you pay to pre-select where you're sitting on the flight (so good luck if you're flying with someone), makes you pay for ANY snack/drink at all on the flight, even water! So as "cheap" and amazing of a deal as Spirit SEEMS to be, it really isn't all that cheap after you pay all these additional fees. But all of that you already know if you fly Spirit. What you may not realize is how horribly unorganized they are. My flight TO my destination initially (when we actually had the flight) got delayed three times, and drastically by hours. Our flight home (the one I'm technically supposed to be reviewing right now) was delayed, delayed, and then completely cancelled. Completely cancelled. The reason? "Construction." Excuse me, Spirit, but airports do not have surprise construction. If construction was inhibiting you from landing your planes, you would have known that far in advance. Also, sure they reimbursed us, but that's it. No vouchers, no coupons, no extra money to put towards a replacement flight. In order to leave, we had to pay HUNDREDS of extra dollars for a different flight, especially since Spirit had told us so late after delaying us so many times and the only flights that night were booked or literally triple the price of our initial flight. It was horrible and so stressful. Would never recommend Spirit to even my worst enemy."

After parking the plane, we waited for about 30-40 minutes with only 1 update i believe saying "it shouldnt be too long". I understand there can be some delays but i was disappointed in the lack of communication. When i asked a flight attendant about a status update, he simpy told me he didnt know. I wish in the future your airline can be more considerate of the passengers."

Punti negativi: "I tried canceling one flight for my fiancé because we had to get on at another time while still keeping the returning flight. After confirming with the representative on the phone multiple time that there would be no issues with her getting on the returning flight; she went to check in at the airport and the representative there told her that her flight had been canceled. There were no other flights that night with Spirit or any other airline for that matter and we then had to arrange to have her fly out the next morning. From the cancelation I received a credit for half of what I paid and honestly will probably not end up using it because of the lack of communication. The representative on the phone confirmed and agreed to her return flight with the confirmation number and apparently he was not correct and it wasn't valid."

Punti negativi: "Be warned, they charge an absurd amount of money for carry-on luggage. I usually travel with one small carry-on bag which is free on any other airline. However, when I arrived at check-in, I was charged $55 for it. Even worse, on my return flight I was misinformed at check in and lead to believe I didn't have to pay the fee again... But when I got to the gate, they wouldn't let me board unless I gave them $100. Apparently if you bypass the $55 fee at check-in, the rate almost doubles at the gate. Not to mention the lady at the gate was incredibly rude and entitled."

Punti negativi: "Everything! Staff and crew delivered the worst customer experience of my life on any flight I have ever taken. They looked like they hated being there. The staff at the front desk was rude and not helpful at all when I printed my boarding pass. The crew was not welcoming and did not greet anybody. The seats were hard leather, did not recline, and were sticky. The flight was extremely bumpy and felt like a roller coster. It made me feel sick and I almost thought we were not going to make it back home at one point. There was no food and no entertainment. My flight was delayed for 1 hour, and they notified me a day in advanced. They couldn't have fixed the issue in 24 hours? I'm never flying SPIRIT airlines again!!!!"

Punti negativi: "I showed up 45 min early to my scheduled flight even though the spirit website said the flight was 55 min delayed. Then the lady at the front desk said the plane was boarded and she couldn't let me on even though the website said it was 1 hour and 40 min until takeoff. Then she proceeded to tell me that she couldn't refund my ticket because all sales are final. Then I called the corporate customer service number then next day to see if they would refund me and after explaining my situation and spending 74 minutes on the phone, the guy told me that his 'supervisor just left for the day' and wanted me to call back again tomorrow. Do not fly Spirit."

Punti negativi: "I fly a lot and have tried a number of different airlines, but I had fortunately been shielded from Spirit...until today. This is nickel & dime central! They charge you for not only checked bags but also carryons--$55!!!! That's more than any airline. And they charge you $100 at the gate if your carryon is too large! They charge you if you want to pick your own seat. They charge you a fee if you check in at the counter. They even charge you a fee to get their special offers. This pos airline is a joke!!! My ticket has ended up being more expensive than any of the other ones I looked at due to the hidden costs. The airplane was a piece of junk-- I guess I should give them props for not crashing it though as I'm sure that was difficult given its state. Also, on the upside I got to watch the delightful show of my seat neighbor picking her nose the whole flight. There was miraculously no extra charge for that. Sent from my iPhone"

Your customer service phone assistance charges ridiculous fees for simple changes. Your flight staff is not friendly at all and worst of all both my boyfriend and I experienced severe flight delays which made us miss international connections. Your staff made no apologies or attempts to assist us. I'm extremely disappointed with this airline and I'll never fly on it again. I've also shared on my social media accounts warning friends and family against booking with you."
