Okay but not great.
Punti positivi: Staff were very friendly apart from the check in guy (Saudi) I assume. Food was okish, Seating was average.
Punti negativi: Plane had an awful smell upon entry. This was on both legs of the journey.
Punti positivi: I bid for an upgrade on the 2nd leg so business was much better. The lady serving in business was very nice.

Punti positivi: It's not horrible; just not up to world class standards of Singapore, Virgin, Emirates, United, or top airlines.
Punti negativi: Business Class: You have to place your order for all food and drink at the start of the flight because the flight attendant disappears after serving. Want a refill of wine? Tough bananas. Forget to order dessert? You're out of luck.

Punti negativi: After travelling from the Maldives and our final flight home from Melbourne to Brisbane, several people had their luggage sopping wet due to rain at Melbourne. Everything inside the luggage was wet. Qantas Customer Service was not empathetic. They said it was only water and bad luck.

Punti negativi: It was an old aircraft and felt dirty. Screens, seats, lavatories, everything was old. There were some really loud and rude passengers behind us causing disruption to everyone around. The crew tried to handle it but the passengers were just not cooperating.

Should significantly improve Sri Lanka Lounge as the place was not the neat and clean, as it was run by one staff alone. Food in the lounge were sitting for hours and not freshly made.

Disappointed at first
Punti positivi: Crew is amazing with a smile always. It was a new aircraft with nice screens and a good variety of movie selections. Service was excellent as well as the food.
Punti negativi: I was denied checking in a the counter. I bought the ticket with a friends credit card and they needed to have the actual card to swipe and then only they get access to my booking. It is company policy but it is not stated when you are making the purchase the airlines website. It says so on the bottom of the ticket on the page long rules in small print. And in all honesty who reads all of that these days.
The ground crew were nice enough to take me to the airlines office at the airport and figure out a solution. It took an hour and a half to sort it out and get a verification from headquarters office in Srilanka.

It would be good if they could distribute the UK landing cards straight after or before the meals.

Amazing hospitality
Punti positivi: Very prompt service and amazing hospitality. Despite the numerous times I called them for service, the staff were always polite and served me with a smile. Overwhelming hospitality really!

Great flight and service
Punti positivi: Flew a few times with UL mainly as it's part of One World and being a QR member I get additional miles and point and travel in business at affordable prices compared to QR extremely high price.

Great crew - small seats!
