Then when we got to the airport there were long lines to check in and no machines to self check in. When we finally got to the front of the line the woman said we had to pay for our checked baggage elsewhere and then come back for the boarding passes. Unheard of elsewhere. The people in the office where you pay for checked baggage took their time and chatted and had no sense of urgency. The first woman we spoke to apparently filled out the form incorrectly. We had to rush to get to the plane and we barely made it through long security lines. We almost missed the plane due to the lack of early information and check in, the cumbersome payment process, etc. It was the worst check in process ever."

I waited in line for two hours before speaking to a representative. Was made to feel like it was my fault I hadn't worked things out while waiting in line-"didn't you receive an email!?" I was told no other options except to leave the next day. I pulled up many other flights out of Venice that would get me home in time and was told that there simply were no other options. The real explanation was that Swiss didn't want to pay out to get me home in time. I had to pay more money to get back into the city rather than sit in airport for 12 hours."

Likes: Comfort, Food, Technology Dislikes: Treatment following a mental health break down (while onboard the flight the passenger in front of me was watching a scary movie which is not something my psychological space does well in, another passenger was fondling his penis during the over night flight, I lost it and stood up calling the passengers sinners and ripped my rosary. I was taken to the front galley and entertained for the remainder of the flight. A person who I assumed was a doctor periodically checked on me, while the chef kept me entertained and ensured that I was not a menace to passengers on the plane. However, before deplaning passengers I was tied to a chair up front with wire ties which hurt and put me in a bit of a rage and a public display to all deplaning. Since this was a health issue, triggered by the environment... why was I not taken off the plane first like a person who suffered cardiac arrest or another health issue? The world does not even begin to understand or have concern for the psychology of others with a moral conscious, by the way I detest the LGBQT movement. The LGBQT movement is a great evil to use those that suffer with identity issues to separate our society. I pray for the victims of this evil (those in the community who were tricked to believe their cause is just). Each of us have an identity, each unique, will we all separate and demand our way or will we set aside a desire to be confirmed in our identity to justify immoral behaviors so that the Godless minds of our time can manipulate God's perfect creation. Have we learned nothing from our history? For those of us that have faith, in our joy we find sorrow for the victims that are deceived by this trickery.

I had an hour between flights, and the first flight landed just five minutes late. The gate for the second flight had already closed by the time I cleared the first security checkpoint. It would have been completely impossible to make it to the gate on time. Turkish put me up in a hotel, etc., for the night, and there were dozens of people in similar situations. But the airline shouldn't offer connections that are totally impossible."

Worst trip ever! Not to mention the 3 1/2 hour delay. Flight attendants were unprofessional and even though I was seated in comfort class only offered to move me further to the rear of the plane to enjoy the onboard movies. Will never fly Delta again!😫😖😤

Delta terminal 2 gate 24B would not allow us to board the plane 3 minutes after main2 zone was called. We were forced to take a flight 4 hours later, waiting at the airport. And the female check in lady at the gate was rude and completely unhelpful. Delta service is poor at LAX

I understand that we had to turn back due to his condition but why was he not removed from the plane and put on a later flight when he felt better instead of making all of us late? You would think after all this the crew would be kind and appreciate our patience but 2 of the flight attendants were the exact opposite of that. Both of them were very short with people and the one kept rolling her eyes at people as they were handing out drinks. The only thing I would give 5 stars is the tv entertainment. My seat wouldn’t even recline for me to enjoy though."

All was well.

Tiny seats, very cramped for 11 hour flight, the food was terrible - only pasta option, full of grease, cheese and carbs, it tastes awful. No other choice. Tiny cups for water/drinks for over 11 hours of flying. Toilets felt dirty.

One guy in particular, a tall greying man evoked the worst stereotypes of brutal secret policemen. Perhaps he formerly worked for Stasi or he was having testosterone problems. Not the first time we have experienced defective entertainment system on this trip. It should be upgraded.

Punti positivi: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."
