Punti positivi: So if you exceed 10KG by 100grams they will charge you as separate luggage. In my case I was 1 KG more so I paid 66 Eurosbor I won't board. Which was 20 minutes before take off. So I paid.

Punti positivi: MU had been terrible on this trip. My flight MU544 was delayed from 00:55am to 12:10pm due to weather in Shanghai as they said. This made me miss my next flight to HNL. Next day i’m flying to LA and hotel they put me in in shanhgai was terrible :(

Punti positivi: I thought the service, efficiency and kindness of the staff was top notch. They made the flight really enjoyable. Hainan does a lot to make sure you feel like you are getting a high quality experience even while flying economy.
Punti negativi: I notice a few things around my seat that were kind of broken, which was surprising knowing that this was a new Dreamliner ... I thought certain things would not be as worn yet. Though I am sure it gets a tons of abuse! I also thought the food was sub-par and we always had a really hard time hearing any announcements because they were not clear, loud and English was challenging to decipher.

We landed at 5am, the transfer services open at 6, then check in opens at 6:50, but we weren’t allowed to check in until 8am because our flight was at 10am. We basically stood in line without anyone giving clear instructions and waited at different line ups for 1 hour each. Horrible airplane, horrible airport. Never transferring here again.

They don’t give you your connecting boarding pass when you leave the country. You have to go through China’s bullshit customs service three times just to get to your next flight. Chinese customs is like a bowl full of retarted fish smelling their own farts. Six people doing nothing while one blithering idiot Stubles through paperwork.

I got this Chinese transit visa just to transfer because of the airport layout and that part was also didn’t make sense. They didn’t accept my middle “Y” on the boarding pass and it was so much of hassle to argue and finally let me through. Will never fly again on Xiamen.

Not many people follow the rule but they will make you pay. I paid for heavy checked bag and still had to take items out... not sure if that’s just me!

Punti positivi: The quality of the seat, cleanliness of the aircraft (with the exception of the restrooms). Ground and lounge crew excellent and knowledgeable. Boarding was swift but confusing.
Punti negativi: In cabin crew was substandard. Very slow in the food service, often times rude and lound when addressing passengers, and failed to clean the restrooms in flight, which left them in dire state and smelled. An unusually unpleasant set of attendants, and sadly not one of them made up for the lack of professionalism the others showed. No priority boarding, they proceeded with boarding the first half of passengers all at once so rather confusing.
