Punti negativi: Walking from one terminal to terminal was quite a problem. when the staff are checking before you pass through the security after you arrived form Lagos to Frankfurt was quite rude. I had a electronic boarding pass on my phone for some reason the wifi from the airport was slow in allowing my electronic boarding pass to work and the staff was impatience with me and rudely asked me to get off the line.

The bathrooms did not have warm water and the sense of comfort is to be found only in business and first class. We fly to Zurich a lot because we have family there and we always take SWISS for a direct flight. They have old planes, the little TVs by the seats may or may not work and although the crew is nice and well trained, they cannot substitute for the discomfort of 10 hours flights in a crammed place. Sorry SWISS.

I was not informed when I booked the ticket that when you transit through 2 schengen countries, you need a transit document. I was informed about it at then airport. Not only did I miss my flight, I had to book for the next day at a outrageous price. SUPER BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...BOTH KAYAK and PRICELINE. Will never recommend you guys to anyone.

The flight was terrible on an ancient and filthy plane.

Punti negativi: The worst boarding process I ever seen! The airport people and crew didn’t tell people what’s going on, there was a uhh delay. Big lines of people just standing and waiting. The flight took off 45 min late!!
Punti positivi: I liked the explanation given by the pilot when we finally got our seats on the plane. Apparently one of the computer racks wouldn't switch on, so they changed some other computer racks, and then the delay was two hours so he decided we could go flying without the broken bit. No doubt they'll be having another attempt to fix it during the next delayed turn around, or he'll phone up tech support and do a factory reset.
Punti negativi: The crew called the gate, allowed the entire flight to pass through the gate and then as we stood in the boarding gang way told us the flight had been delayed by the captain but they did not have any more information. We were then held for 2 hours sitting on the floor because the crew had taken our boarding cards and didn't want us to return to the terminal. At least I didn't pay for any upgrades as that was a just sitting on the floor closer to the plane. Funny how the plane miraculously got better when people started to talk about compensation!

Punti negativi: Every other airline allowed me to carry on my bag, but they insisted I check it (and pay of course). I get in the plane and there's PLENTY OF ROOM. Was only a half full flight. They should have been decent and just let me on with it like every other airline.
Punti negativi: Meridiana staff were having a strike that week and it was impossible to get reliable information about whether my flight would depart on time, be delayed, or be canceled. You couldn't even get through to an agent on the phone. So I canceled my ticket and booked another flight to Rome via AL Italia. Had to drive across the island (2 1/2) to depart from a different airport. Basically killed the last day of my vacation. Then when I called to get a refund on Meridiana, I was told I would have been eligible to get it but called too late. Even my flight from Rome to Olbia was delayed several hours, days before the strike even began. Didn't get to our rental until now 3am. In sum, Meridiana was terrible from start to finish. Totally unreliable.
