Flight and crew were great. Food was good and great recline for coach. Disappointed I had paid extra for window seat and seat next to it in center and found upon boarding that my seats were moved to center only seats with no window. If we hadn’t paid extra, it wouldn’t be an issue. Was told because of change in aircraft yet it was the same aircraft as when it was originally booked months ago. Crew tried to accommodate but unfortunately on full flight it was not possible.
Flight from Zurich to Florence was fine
Simply put, short of upgrading seat class, I couldn't have asked for a more friendly, accommodating, comfortable experience flying.
Swiss Air, which forced me to check my bag in Newark, still has not located it. I am back in NY now. Overall a terrible travel experience, my worst ever.

It was excellent. Great airline. Very attentive staff. Seats are a little tight, but it is the world we live in now. Unless you get lucky and get the bulk head seats or are wealthy enough for first class it is cramped. Overall an excellent experience.
When leaving Florence we arrived at the airport 2 1/2 hours before our flight. There were 100's of people waiting to check in for several different international flights and only 2 people working at the check in counter issuing tickets and checking bags. Many people were missing their flights and trying to figure out how to get home. We waited over 3 hours on the lines along with most of the other people on our flight. There were several altercations between travelers and ticketing agents. I am not sure if they held the flight or if we put on a later flight running through the airport to board. There were no other people in the airport at security or shops or anywhere just the crazy international flights area. When we arrived in Switzerland for our connection we were very late and again running through the airport to barely make our connection. When we did arrive in Newark our luggage did not. Also I had ordered a gluten free meal when I booked the flight and they did not have my request so I was unable to eat on the plane. If you are asking about allergy meals they should be available or I would have brought my own food on the plane. On a positive note, the blankets and pillow were a nice comfort for the long flight. They also checked our carryon for free so on our sprint through the airports we weren't dragging bags with us too.
Baggage charge is nothing short of obscene, especially w/ lack of service provided
It wasn’t communicated that on the layover, we needed to again have our documents checked so after waiting in long line to board, we were sent back to another documents check line and then back to the long boarding line. It wasn’t a big deal but something to mention. Once on board the crew was phenomenal. Very friendly and constantly working and serving. I don’t think they got a moments rest during the 10+ hour flight. Best service on a flight in years….hands down above & beyond Delta airlines where I have my miles awards membership. Very pleased with Swiss Air.
Overall it was all good and Swiss Air is a great company —however check in time in MIami was 1 hour and 45 minutes. This was very frustrating
Check-in line was slow. Would have been helpful to have more agents. Everyone was very kind and helpful and the flight was short and easy.
Entertaining options could be expanded but I wouldn’t trade for anything else. Excellent experience all around.

Although the alternate airlines did a fine job and we had nice flights thanks to them, we only found out about the change when we arrived at the airport and it caused us multiple inconveniences throughout the day. Our flight from Berlin to Zurich was scheduled to board at 9am, so we left our accommodations at 6:30am so we could arrive at the airport around 7am. It was a rushed, hectic morning and we stayed up late preparing for it the best we could. When we arrived and found out our flight was canceled, we learned our new flight wouldn't board until 11am. So we rushed for no reason and had to spend a considerable amount of extra time at the airport that we could have spent enjoying coffee one last time at a local cafe or something. We planned to fly straight from Zurich to San Diego so we could participate in an interview for our Global entry application (which you can only do when arriving in the US from an international flight). Because we had a brief layover in San Francisco instead, we had no time for this and were unable to do the interview when we arrived in San Diego because it was a domestic flight. The change also caused issues with our luggage. We're not used to checking bags when we fly OR flying internationally with layovers in the US, so we asked the agent at the Swiss desk in Berlin how it would would with both of those aspects in our travel with the itinerary changes. The agent told us our luggage would follow us all the way to San Diego and we didn't have to worry about it. However, we learned once we got to San Diego that our bags were left in San Francisco because apparently we were supposed to pick them up and recheck them, but we had no idea. It was a huge bummer and we wish we would have had more control over our itinerary that day. People book certain flights for certain reasons and need to have a say when their flights need to change."

My biggest complaint about this flight wasn't with Delta itself, but with the man next to me who half way through the flight decided he didn't need to wear his mask anymore. With so many headlines in the news of people going insane on flights about wearing masks, I wasn't about to ask him to put it on. I was disgusted by his lack of concern for the law and the health of those travelers around him. I know that Delta Flight Attendants did not sign up to be the mask police, but I really wish someone would have told him to put a mask on. People like him are ruining what would have otherwise been a really great flight/traveling experience. I'm happy Delta is bringing back meals on longer flights (in first class). The food was good but I am excited for the day when actual meal service returns. Maybe when people like my seat mate start wearing their masks and following the rules we can go back to having nice things.

Boarding was on time (if not a little early). The flight was unfortunately not properly catered for snack boxes in main cabin. This is likely a one off instance, but it’s a long flight for no food options other than pretzels and Biscoffs. Service was attentive and friendly. This particular flight offered Delta’s DeltaOne lay flat first class seats. Would highly recommend. Flight left on time and arrived early!

Punti negativi: "The business class seat is narrow (shoulders) and although the flat bed is 2m long, it is is wedged on the feet; I'm 2 m tall, it's really narrow. Moreover, the seat commands are operated by "light touch" placed just below the wrist and hand, so the seat keeps moving all the time."

Lufthansa gate staff member took us to the wrong elevator, ended up outside security and had to go through security screening all over again, now late for flight and not early boarded. Was told she was only on the job for 2 weeks, I don't blame her for her incompetence I blame her management! Plane was loaded on the tarmac via a bus for a large international flight...no gate?? Seats in economy class are equivalent to those on a domestic flight, fairly uncomfortable on a 12hr flight. Many of the entertainment choices were not available, you can select it but all it plays is a short commercial."

KLM is never consistent with services. Sometimes you get lucky with great comfort and other times you are forced to squeeze in a box for a seat. The food is always subpar and they have become so unfriendly when you need help. But hey, they are always on time and they have good connections.

Thumbs up for KLM crew, planes and Schiphol Airport, though short on staff and a little late everything went smooth, including the flight.
L'atterraggio è stato un po' brusco
The flight from Rome to Ams was delayed. The flight from AMS to Moscow was missed. - We spent 2h in a linewaiting for the service desk to rebook the tickets - Then, we spend more than an hour to get the hotel - Then waiting for the shuttle another 30 minutes Unexpectedly poor and slow service. The next working day is ruined with the flight in the middle

Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."
