They also keep their planes unbearably hot, which I have no idea why, making the trip in that cramped seat horrible. Their in between meals snacks consist of cheese sandwiches, and the attendants never come around with drinks or snacks. I also fly Singapore Air and Emirates and their service is subperb!"

I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."

Punti negativi: "We flew Latam to go snowboarding in Argentina. The moment we arrived at the desk to check in, it was chaos. We waited in line for almost 2 hours to check in. When we got to Buenos Aires, our snowboard bags had not made it on the flight. Having to deal with Latam agents who hardly spoke English and were not helpful at all was intensity frustrating. Our bags finally got to our destination 2 days later. We had to drive to the airport to pick them up because they were not going to deliver them for another day, so we would have been 3 days without our snowboard gear. Latam did nothing to compensate us for the days lost no did they even seem to care. This is one of the most frustrating companies I have ever dealt with. I booked a return flight on Delta and lost $1000 just so I don’t have to deal with Latam again. Any money you save on a flight is not worth having to deal with this company. Stick with reliable American-based companies with customer service that is up to American standards."

I truly hope this is something that will become standard, and I pray to God that the other airlines especially Viva will learn how to do!"

Punti negativi: "The flight at first had a 3 HOUR delay do to a "mechanical breakdown". We were told that they were going to bring another airplane from Rio de Janeiro. After the 3 hours passed they were only announcing in Portuguese to board the original plane. They never changed planes or provided a clear explanation to the passengers. Many of us refused to board. This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. The staff was disrespectful and would not help us. We ended up taking another flight until the following night!!"

There should never be an airplane that doesn't have personal entertainment on board for an 11+ hour flight. The main cabin had two monitors up front on each side and one in the middle section. We paid for "premium" seats, no charging options. The overhead storage could barely hold the smallest of carry-on luggage. The food was mediocre at best. We were pretty close to the front but every time the beverage cart made it to us the wine was already empty from the previous passengers. Overall pretty miserable flight"

On a transatlantic flight of 10+ hours that is not overnight, it is a bit much to expect customers to fill that much time if one cannot read because the lights aren't working. The flight attendant said it was a very old plane as the reason why, not exactly what one wants to hear. Also, the plane was different than the one I prepaid my seats for, thus the money I spent on bulkhead seats was wasted as we just got two normal seats. Not a good experience."

Not only did they RESELL and REASSIGN our seats to someone else -- we could not get a refund for the upgrade we paid for. To add insult to injury, the only seats they could give us were in the back of the plane next to the toilet. Having heard so many similar nightmare stories about American Air I can say I will never ever fly American Air again. We now have to spend our firrst few days home from vacation disputing that charge, writing letters and making calls to get that damn refund. I will be sharing my discontent far and wide. Whoever at corporate thinks it's best practice to sell and sell and sell seats and live with the aggravation of the customers has an upside down notion of how to run a successful business. NIGHTMARE."

I didn't like the accebility to buying snacks, drinks and other food throughout the flight. Flying for 10 hour is draining and the only entertainment be controlled by what the captain provides on the screen isn't comfortable. I may fly American Airlines for domestic flights but I'll surely use another company or longer flights to Europe."

When we got to the table for people who would miss connections to get our boarding pass for a rescheduled flight, there wasn't one for us. We got there, but this wasn't really a great experience."

I was definitely taken back by how rude the staff was. I have never had an experience like that with United or Virgin,"

These old birds were 30 years old, out of Arizona desert storage...former TWA, so no entertainment or power or anything. And, AA re-confirmation showed flight and ticket canceled! Said Iberia flight, Iberia said AA flight...yikes! Serious glitches and lost data...locator number erased! You see why I tried to take a foreign carrier."
