Punti negativi: Boarding was unpleasant. Buses to aircraft: had to wait approx 10 mins in the bus on the tarmac whilst the previous two buses unloaded. Then the actual staircase / boarding process took nearly 10 minutes... queueing in 41 degree heat. Muscat is a very new airport and many gates with airbridges were not being used. As the home airport of the national carrier I wouldn't expect tarmac boarding.

Treatment is horrible, the people at the front desks are rude to everyone and they treat customers in a very unfair way and rude condescending manner and threatened me and another two not to allow us to get on the flight because of their “sudden rules change”.

Punti positivi: 787 Dreamliner layout is efficient, generous legroom and recline is better than American carriers. Crew works as team, fast and courteous. Very helpful and professional, Water offered frequently, trash pick up kept cabin neat, bathrooms always clean. Passenger announcements are clear and crisp is English and Chinese.
Punti negativi: Really, no complaints. More entertainment choices would be appreciated however is not my priority.

Punti positivi: I have flown to hk with Cathay and American exclusively. I wanted to try Finnair because the price was very good for business. I now know why. The food is mediocre. The staff aren’t friendly or attentive. At $2700 it’s cheap compared to CX and AA but I know why now.

I will be asking for a refund for the upgrade. Not only was I denied the window seat, but the seat I was moved to had a broken screen.
