Punti negativi: "I dont know WHY Delta changed my flight with ALIITALIA, but, DON'T DO IT DELTA. The check in process took an hour, not talking about the line, the ACTUAL checkin at the counter. I couldn't complete my web checkin at the AliItalia web site. Landed in JFK, still sucks as an airport, nobody helps, nobody explains anything, very poor signs and instructions, Global Entry kiosk are hard to spot. My connection ticket didn't have the TSA/PRECHECK legend, went to AliItalia counter, the lady at AliItalia barely said anything when I asked for help with that, her immediate answer was to disengage and sent me to another terminal "to talk to Delta". She didn't explain or didn't want to give an explanation until I started to act as an already 9hr30min flight frustrated customer in a very old, very poor plane with poor food service. Again, I bought an over $1,000 ticket with DELTA, NOT ALIITALIA, if Delta send people with their "partners" at least make sure that they are taken care of properly."

There is probably a more efficient way of doing this. Besides that, they need to do a better job communicating that seats are changing and not Reggy before boarding. Though I can understand it can get crazy because people will panic but it’s not great heading up to enter in not knowing if you are sitting in window when you picked it for a reason. Otherwise, everything went smoothly."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Simple solution would be to assign luggage based on zone. Zone A to Be Window seat. Zone B to be a centre seat and Zone C to be Aisle seat. Designate a portion of the overhead bin to be A, B and C like the seats. Ensure that baggage is transported to the seat designated."

Punti negativi: "I'm a bit disappointed by the services provided by Westjet: 1) I never received the confirmation of my fight/booking from Westjet; 2) I was not aware that the connecting from LA to SJ and SJ to LA were operated by different companies therefore I was not able to check in or even to check the gate information at the airport. I almost missed my flight from SJ to LA in the early morning 3) at the SJ airport, I was not aware that the flight from SJ to LA was operated by Delta not American airline. However, the Westjet customer services 1-888 number listed in your Kayak confirmation was not a correct number. I even tried to look up another customer services number of Westjet by searching the Westjet website, the number I found was not in service neither. I almost missed my flight from SJ to LA 4) At the LA airport I was told that I was not able to board the flight because I did not have the Canadian ETA. they said they would pull my checked luggages and flight them with my re-scheduled flight and will be shipped to the final destination Vancouver, Canada. when I arrived Vancouver, both suitcases were not arrived with my flight. One arrived with my original flight and the second were missing. The agent could not even tell me where the suitcase was. Moreover, the second did not arrive the time I was told it should arrive. My second suitcase was not allocated even before I left Vancouver to Europe one day after my travel. 5) No one responded to the luggage services number provided in the document. I could only successfully login to the link for the checking the status after I returned home in Brussels. 6) I was told that the second suitcase will be delivered to my home in Europe by another company. Currently I'm still waiting for my second suitcase."
Punti negativi: "I had to get searched by crew twice even with the delayed flight it was random even going through all the proper procedures of checking in with my carry on luggage and etc. It was not organized and I got the run around and I just felt like not a valued customer. When boarding the flight I got passed over with beverage and snack. My neighbors next to me looked at me with concern and I just ignored it and didn't want to ask because I was already bothered by my whole experience coming back to New York."

Punti positivi: "Not often do you feel like you really "welcomed aboard." This was not the case on our flights to and from Calgary. The staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. That was refreshing. I did like the Westjet Connect feature. You don't have a TV screen in the back of each seat. You download the app and you get to watch TV, Movies, News all on your own device for free. A nice plus is that you can change all your devices with USB power port at each seats you never run out of a charge."

Or at least the food I brought, a sandwich was not allowed because of customs. I can't eat the food that was offered. I'm glutten intolerant and dairy involerant. Not sure there's a whole lot to do about it besides buy prepackaged food that don't have meat, vegtabjes or fruit. Protien bars may have worked. We brought two bottles of water each from the terminal. I could have used more, even with the drink service. The flight attendants we're having thier own personal conversation while passing out food and ran by when it came to the final trash clean up. When I got up to use the facilities I tried throwing my trash away but was ignored by a crew member while she was resting."

The cabin wait staff is ill trained for customer service. They seemed to only have requirements to check off on a list. We will likely make every attempt to not fly your airlines again."

In Dublin we were diverted from JFK to Hartford due to "mechanical problems" and told we'd be met at the gate and provided ground transportation to JFK. Approximately 30 others going to either JFK or Boston were told the same thing and joined us on a half empty flight to Hartford. When we landed there was no representative at the gate, no ground transportation provided, and no effort to help us. A little investigation on cell phones revealed both the Boston and JFK flights left on time (and I'm guessing full). Needless to say the customers were quite upset. Some even raised their voices which caused the kid representatives of Aer Lingus to call the state troopers (really). When the troopers did nothing the Aer Lingus reps locked themselves in their office rather than deal with their customers. After 2 hours of waiting for the promised ground transportation we gave up, rented a car, and drove ourselves to our destination at our own expense. We were never provided even a free drink. Horrible. Lies upon lies upon lies. I'll never consider flying with them again"

I will say he did turn people away who were not in the rows being called in front of us, but not the woman who cut the line behind us who was 13 rows behind us."

Punti negativi: "The plane was dirty and old, the food horrible, cramped seats, dirty and non functioning bathrooms, stressed out and inattentive staff, poor coordination of seating families together (I was told my seat was given to a woman so she could sit with her adult daughter...I wasn't asked, just told), the flight was 1.5 hour delayed, my bag was lost because the incompetent staff member in Italy didn't give me a bording pass for the Dublin to LA flight (I'm still waiting over 24 hours later to find out what's happened to my luggage). Overall, this flight was a nightmare and a huge let down after flying to Rome on British Airways. I can't say enough about how wonderful that flight was..Aer Lingus was a big disappointment and a poor substitute for BA. Very unsatisfied customer!"

It was anxiety-creating to not have confidence that I would make my flight, even after waiting for an hour with very few (10-12) parties in front of me. Also, actual boarding was a third-world nightmare. Simple "zone" process boarding could radically improve the boarding time and the experience for custommers, among other things. Rome personnel seemed to not have had any training in customer service or even visited a different (better functioning) facility, just to get a sense of what could be possible. I am sure the processes could be easily improved, as best practices are executed elsewhere."

Aer Lingus reps in rome fixed that and I was very, very grateful for that, but when we got to the Dublin/Boston leg of our flight, they couldn't or wouldn 't fix the seating issue. On board the plane though, the flight attendents arranged for my daughter and I to sit together. Really upset me that I didn't know until the very last minute, on the plane, whether I was going to be able to sit next to my child."
