They also pressurized us to decide quickly. our each check in baggage was over weight 1 KG or less than 1 KG due to faulty scale at home. Instead of giving us a choice or advice that you are allowed two more hand bags. They pressurized us to make one baggage over weight from all 7 bags and harassed us to do it quickly because they are closing counter in 20 minutes. That's how they charged me another $65. Also they lied on the counter that your seats are in a row but when i went into the plane our seats were separate. Lesson learned don't trust the person over the counter of Qatar airways."

So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Punti negativi: "Original schedule pulled in one day due to Hurricane Irma cancellation/rebook from MIA to SCL. LAN wanted $280US to change ticket. I paid $160US for ticket originally. No sympathy from LAN for hurricane impacted travelors. Extremely poor customer relations!!"

I have traveled with LATAM before and I had good experiences, with no complains. But the flight from Bogota to Miami on may 29th was mediocre and it seems longer than it was. That plane should be used for shorter flights and not a 4 hour international flight. I am not expecting first class seats and 5 course meals. But for the same price I could have used other airlines."

Punti negativi: "The ground personne in Iguazul were terrific. Flight got cancelled after check in. We were in waiting area. Staff remembered who we were, found us, had us hurry bavk to check-in. Got our luggage, got it retagged, and got us on another flight leaving almost immediately. We got to BA with no problems as did our luggage. Yay for your smart, resourceful, thoughtful and efficient ground crew in Iguazu. They deserve a special thanks."

They automatically took care of my rebooking my luggage, and it arrived just fine. Great proactive customer service!"
