Punti negativi: "Very hard to believe that Qatar is described as a "world-class airline". I took a total of 4 flights on Qatar Airways in a 2-week span. First flight was from New York to Doha (not bad). Second flight was from Doha to Nairobi (not bad). Third flight was from Nairobi to Doha (not bad) and the fourth and final flight was from Doha to New York (unbearable!!!) My first issue with the Qatar Airways was a checked parcel not arriving at my destination. When we reached Nairobi, I was told my parcel that I had checked in New York, was still in New York. It was a card board tube of materials required for a work initiative at a Kenyan hospital. Returning to Nairobi airport several days later created a hassle that I won't soon forget! Now to describe the journey back to the United States. The flight from Doha to New York is the flight I want to focus on. The flight was extremely crowded and the conditions were absolutely deplorable! I cannot fathom how a self-proclaimed "world-class airline" could pack a plane that full and compound that with a 14 hour flight! I felt so badly for the airline staff. They were stretched so thin that they couldn't accommodate the passengers. There was garbage all over the plane and the bathrooms were filthy; garbage cans overflowing with waste and dirty diapers. There was an exceptionally high number of infants and children on this flight. I love children. I have 3 children myself. I felt terribly for the children AND adults on this flight because everyone was absolutely miserable. I never thought it could be possible for there to be 14+ hours of crying babies and children. It was absolutely maddening. The airline staff were so busy that they couldn't even assist with the babies and children which I found to be so completely unconventional for any airline, especially one of this alleged caliber. I do feel that there should be a separate section of planes for infants and children so that the crying etc can be confined to one area and passengers aren't exposed to what we were exposed to. The man behind me verbalized what I had been feeling when he stated "If I could, I would jump off of this plane. This is torture". The purpose of my trip was a global health mission to Kenya for a hospital to hospital partnership. Other team members in my group requested an upgrade and offered to pay cash. We were all appalled to be denied. The Qatar Airline staff couldn't process the upgrade and we still can't understand why. Seems a shame for the airline to have lost all that potential profit. For me, this was a return trip (I had been there in March 2015). Last year I flew Swiss Air and Brussels Air where I had much more enjoyable flights without any incidents. I will be notifying all of my friend, relatives, and colleagues of this nightmare experience and will certainly advise them against flying Qatar Airways."

Long lines and majority of the systems were not working. After trying several machines and being directed into 3 different lines I finally was able to check my bag in. I had to leave my other family members who were flying with me as they were in another line. At the machine to check my bag in , a airport worker ran up to my bag and slammed it onto the ground as well as ripped off my luggage tags. My bag was upright on the conveyer belt instead of on its side , but how rude the airport workers are, is rediculous. After I asked why she did that she just began ordering me around to move my bag after I got my bag through the machine I asked to speak to a manager as the airport worker was extremely rude and unprofessional. No one would give me the time of day and the same airport working out her hand in my face saying repeatedly goodbye in German. I've never experienced anything like this in my entire life. Trying to get through security a few travelers on a thin patience level started pushing people in line trying to by pass others it was so very chaotic workers had to go in between. Those travelers were complaining, because disabled travelers had a separate line that was faster. The worst airport experience I've ever had. Once on the plane everyone was pleasant. Crew was very helpful and always willing to assists"

Before we got to Chicago eveyone had to be seatbelt s before landing and the flight attendant asked eveyone to buckle up. The mother of the baby wouldn't listen and began yelling at flight crew. I think the flight crew did a great job, the passenger and child were very disruptive making the flight at times very uncomfortable. I wouldn't suggest infants or toddlers flying for such long trips. No one wants to listen to a child screaming at the top of their lungs."

The normal sized man next to me and I had to sit with our elbows pinned to our ribs. Eight hours of hell. I also had a totally irritating woman from syria behind me. She pushed and banged on my seat back the entire 8 hours. She had to have her loud mouth yapping most of the flight. That was the worse experience I have had flying. Also the attendents didnt care about me. I had to ask for tea. Had to ask three times as they were waalking off"

The announcements were very hard to hear if you weren't right by the person making them. There was no orderly boarding. Line to check bags pretty slow for number of passengers. Glad we had plenty of time."

We were boarded an hour ahead of departure from Rome for our 10+ hour flight, only to be held on the ground for a one hour delay. Barring equipment malfunction, this is a totally unacceptable way to treat people. Be assured that I will avoid Rome in the future if at all possible. And despite the flight taking place entirely during daylight hours and leaving at 10:30 am, inexplicably we were made to all pull our blinds down and the lights went off after a couple of hours - in the middle of the day and for about 8 hours! So although I had paid for a window seat there was nothing to see apart from the window shade. As it was the middle of the day I could not go to sleep, the person in front of me reclined fully so for me the flight was a hot, claustropobic, dark hell. An utterly miserable experience. I felt like I was going mad, trapped in my own little cell."

In the feedback form there was a question about a la carte meal but no one offered me the option to buy anything during the flight. The crew attitude is the worst I've seen. I have flown more then 300 times. I felt I disturbed their conversations which were more important. Once I waited 2 minutes in front of them before they stopped their private discussion. Lufthansa has a special team for A380 and they are super helpfull. Entertainment system is slow and the UI is much worst than on LH A380 and Emirates."

After receiving our first two bags, the third bag is not not delivered (3 days without our clothes. This is the bag we paid an additional 100.00 for. On the trip over, the entire row of seats did not have the monitors working and the light could not be turned off (bright error screen on the entire 7 hour flight. After being stuck in New York (reasons beyond Delta's control so we are understanding of that) however the Delta airport crew (3 different sources, continued to give us the wrong information resulting in us staying in the airport an additional 2 hours after everyone else had left. Finally went to a 4th person who was able to resolve the issue within 5 minutes. This was the worst flight experience in my entire 50 years on earth. The level of incompetence with some of the Delta airport staff is beyond excusable. Even after our issue was resolved, the worse two of the lot were still giving out wrong information to passengers telling them there were no hotels in ALL OF NEW YORK and they would have to stay in the airport."
