Punti negativi: "First, they announced that they need some passengers to voluntarily give up the booking in exchange for 280 refunds (a slightly higher rate which not worth to do it) and 1 stopover the fight to Rome which will arrive at 22.00 instead (our flight is 17.35). About 15 minutes before boarding time, they announced flight delaying. Around 17.45, they announced gate changing from B to A which located at opposite side of the the airport so all passengers run there because of everyone afraid that their booking might be canceled because no one agrees to give up. At both gates, many people try to jump in the queue which no staff comes in the manage the queue. During waiting on the board, the air condition seems to be closed, hard to breathe. Around 19.00, the plane took off the Zurich airport eventually, finish the 1.5 hours delay. The captain announced that it cause by the technical problem of the flight earlier but my thinking it cause from over-booking."

I was wearing light jeans and a short sleeve shirt, and I was sweating all flight. Each time I asked throughout the duration of the flight, I was told it take a while for the temperature to decline. It's one thing to be uncomfortably warm on a flight; it's another thing when the flight crew lies to you. Further, I was not the only one to request that the temperature be reduced. This made an 11 hour flight particularly miserable."

The flight on Austrian airlines was quite comfortable, good food and entertainment for the long flight. Boarding and deboarding all very smooth. Very helpful SWISS staff helped locate our luggage when we missed connecting flight the previous day."
Punti negativi: "Thunderstorm at Zurich caused delay of our flight into Zurich, and we missed original connecting flight to USA. Many other travelers affected and there were no other flights that day. One wonders if they could have held the flight for one hour or so to allow everyone to make the flight. There was a huge line, 2-3 hours of waiting, at SWISS transfer desk to rebook. It took another 2 hours to locate our luggage. I believe SWISS were required by EU regs to provide overnight accommodations and meals. But the hotel was 30+ km from the airport and we were not confident we would have transport in the morning to make our rebooked flight. Because we could not take the chance already being delayed by a day, we booked an airport hotel at our own expense. Overall experience of the missed connection was negative based on the airline's (SWISS) procedures, but the individual SWISS staff helping us were all helpful and made extra effort to accommodate."

And on my second part of the trip Zurich/Nice they refused to sell me to me from the Duty Free because they didn't have time..... :( The dark hair flight attendant in the back of that plane was not informative or nice....I had to talk to the head flight attendant in the front of the plane, she was more professional! Other than that everything was good!"

They avoided interrupting quiet time and rest time by keeping off the PA system (well done). The food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get some business class tickets with points, and the food was amazing. Wine was excellent. This team was quite solicitous of my parent with reduced-mobility. And the bathrooms stayed clean throughout the flight. find this is often an areas where many airlines fall down. And it's too bad, because while I'm 100% sure it is no fun to clean a toilet while in flight, it is a really a big negative for the customers. Overall excellent attention to detail, with a cheerful and "can-do" crew that kept the plane "proper" throughout the flight and provided seamless service. Good stuff. Will fly again."

This was a complete violation of my rights. Never have I faced a humiliating situation at any other airport. If this was a TSA requirement then everyone should be subject to a second security check."

We entered the plane last.Our seats not were ready and we were forced to do it all alone.Rudeness and unprofessionalism of SWISS crew.The end of the vacation was spoiled. For what I paid to SWISS 100$ in advance(10 monthes)? I believe, if SWISS could not provide the paid service as expected, SWISS must return the money(100$) and apologize. Nobody apologized in Zurich, threatened to invite the police. Bad crew, bad service."

On board: Cramped in too tight especially for a 10 hour flight. You have to be athletic to eat from the tray table. Though only 5ft 8in, I had no knee room, -especially when the person in front lowered his seat. Airport terminals inconvenient: Frankfurt AM and Zurich were lacking in people movers which made getting from one gate to the next a severe pain. I am not looking forward to traveling through either of these airports in the future... though others are just as bad."

Very cramped in economy class - I'm 5'6" - not so tall.... and when the seat in front of me reclined, it was touching my knees. For the whole 13+ hour flight it was ON my knees! It was uncomfortable and made it very hard to get in and out of my seat."

The persons pushing the chairs were very friendly and helpful and I was greatful to have themi."

So I had a situation where I had a tall / big guy sitting behind me, who did everything in his power not to let me recline my seat, because his legs were literally in the way blocking my seat from reclining fully. However, the lady in front of me managed to drop her seat backwards into my lap. needless to say, It wasn't much fun riding for 9 1/2 hours on an international flight sandwiched between these two. Even ONE MORE INCH could have made somewhat of a difference for both of us tall guys. Maybe the FAA should increase minimum distance between seats by decree, especially for flight duration over a certain time."

Free wine,drinks even Cogniac."

The operator then refused to check our bags into the hold and said we had to take them on plane. Complained as had liquids in case that we didn’t want to throw away and had to queue again for half an hour. The same operator then checked the bags in inexplicably without question - totally pointless waste of our time and theirs. Then we arrived at the gate just in time for it opening and was forced to queue for an hour as the plane was delayed without any explanation or apologies. Hope I am never unfortunate enough to travel with this airline again."
