Peccato che l'hotel è a 120 km e loro non hanno trovato il bus per il trasferimento (incidentalmente, anche questo è da norma di legge un loro dovere...) - alla fine come assistenza in termini di generi di conforto commisurata alla durata del ritardo, 10 ore, il tutto si è ridotto ad una bottiglietta d'acqua e un kit toilette per il mattino. In ragione della distanza degli hotel disponibili siamo stati invitati pressantemente a passare la notte nel terminal, ma: - nessuna assistenza. Dopo i controlli di sicurezza neanche una bottiglietta d'acqua, neanche un voucher colazione, neanche qualche coperta o cuscino per dormire meglio sulle scomodissime sedie/divano. E neanche uno scusate. - nessuna reazione alla possibilità di apertura della business giunge: è chiusa e non la riapriamo per voi. Neanche per farvi dormire un po' meno peggio. - nessuna specifica informazione ai passeggeri sulla evoluzione della situazione - siamo stati abbandonati a noi stessi, in sostanza Violazioni multiple e ripetute del regolamento CE 261/2004. Ma pagheranno, eh, se pagheranno..."

The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. Seats were quite utilitarian and hard. However as we were only travelling 2 and a half hours they were tolerable. Otherwise the whole flight experience was extremely smooth and efficient.
After a 4hr 20 min layover in Prague. The passengers were called to board to gate A3. Once booked in we then had to wait for nearly 1 hr 45 to actually board the aircraft. There was not one piece of advice regarding the cause of the delay. On boarding the Captain then informed the passengers that their was to be a further delay of 45 mins because of a weather front. There were women with children together with elderly passengers who were becoming more and more concerned. If there was one explanation given as to the reason for the delay and at least allowing passengers to remain seated in the main terminal with access to food, drink and toilets. it would have helped alleviate the worry. Then to cap it all on arrival at LBA it took a further 25 minutes to disembark . A ridiculous and unnecessary delay. It was almost comical in the lack of customer care.
The jet2 check in at Faro was so well done compared with other airlines. They stagger all the package holiday buses so it’s not overwhelmed. Well done Jet2
The seating leg room was good! The flight was delayed by 1.5hrs. I pre ordered a meal on board, but was the last to receive my food. So poor on board service! Jet2 managed to leave my luggage behind at Manchester airport, I’m still waiting news of its whereabouts!

Once settled in our seats, another 25 minutes went by when the plane did not move. No information's given. I asked a member of the cabin crew what was going on who said she didn't know anything. I then heard her ask (presumably the captain) on the intercom if he could make an announcement as 'passengers were enquiring' We were then informed that we would have a further delay of up to an hour. We eventually took off at 16.00, over two hours after scheduled time. Thank goodness, I had left plenty of time for my connecting train. I was equally unimpressed for different reasons with Jet2.com on the outward flight on 12 July. I will not be flying with them again."

The information they conveyed was clear and comprehensive and obviously, safety instructions are crucial, but the format and tone of delivery were so patronising I thought they were a parody. They also assumed everybody was coming back to the UK after their holiday - the flight had a good proportion of French passengers and some of us don't live in the UK. Make the announcements more neutral. I fly with a lot of no-frills lines, especially Ryanair and EasyJet as well as the larger carriers such as Air France, BA, SAS and Air Canada, but I have never come across such grating and irritating announcements. I will think twice before booking another flight with them rather than endure this again."

In my opinion the new A321 long range planes are really not good for long haul flights. 2 toilets at the back of the plane for the whole economy class section, one aisle so you not only have cabin crew trying to get up and down the aisles with trolleys, you also have people queuing down the aisle to use the toilet with no where to go.
Aer Lingus is a low cost airline. Don't expect much.
Aer lingus were great to fly with but I got some very confusing calls from chatdeal that I booked with at midnight, 5 hours before I had to be up for my flight telling me I had to “uncheck in” to fix an issue on their end. It wasn’t an option and after an hour of trying I gave up as I had my boarding card already. Boarded the plane just fine. So I don’t know why they gave me an hour of stress just before my flight… I’ll book directly through aer lingua next time
It is a long time since I have travelled with AerLingus and the seating seems a littlemore uncomfortable to me.
A little free snack would be nice for the price of the ticket. Faster boarding and disembark appreciated.
Booked with less 24hrs before flight. Things could not have gone easier or smoother checking in online & uploading forms/vaccinations on the VeriFLY App. Attended JFK airport and in less then 5 mins I’d checked my bag in at the VeriFLY/Aer Lingus. 10 mins after that I’d been through security and was in the departure lounge. Aer Lingus boarded the plane early, took off on time and landed early. All in all it was a great flight, but the coffee was awful 😣

And then they kept me in security for over an hour to have 3 different levels of security ask me the same questions over and over again. Don't know why they flagged me...maybe a false positive...as usual they won't tell you a damn thing. But the security guys weren't bad people..just been given their orders."
