I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now - and my entire family - and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. The flight attendants were very professional and helpful, as you would hope all attendants on all airlines would be. We'd gladly fly Delta again anytime."

Got back to SD 4 hours after scheduled time."

When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

Punti positivi: "I had to buy new clothes after lost bag and since bag had been lost twice during my trip, I was reluctant to check the bag. It was of size to cram into my carry on so I did that, but American staff demonstrated concern, had a sense of humor and helped me get a comfortable seat to sort of take some of the sting away. All that was great of them I was aware of being in an upgraded seat. No complaints, but it stung a little because I was deeply aware of the reinforcement of class. The small, extra comforts were wonderful and I wish everyone had them while risking their lives together over the ocean - especially the extra room At times, on the way over I felt a claustrophobic panic. But to stay positive, they were kiind, sympathetic, funny, sweet. I appreciate them."

Better communication would have been easy to do to keep us informed."

I inserted it on the online form multiple times until I was blocked from doing so, and there was no link to communicate online in real time with anyone who could solve the problem. This was extremely stressful and unnecessary, as well as time consuming. It was not how I wanted to spend my final night in Italy. Furthermore, I had to wake up at 4 am to get a very early bus to the airport in order to check in early enough in person. NOT cool. The food was mediocre. The entertainment options were about the worst I've ever seen. My seat hardly went back at all."

We had to watch the movies on the general screen overhead; however, the sound for the headphones didn't work so we couldn't enjoy those movies. The flight was a non-stop 9hr flight, which made it seem very long without having entertainment."

On domestic flights I only fly Southwest unless a must do trip and they don’t fly there. Our trip over to Milan on British Airways was wonderful. Sorry the last leg was American Airlines.)"

Their personality plus attitudes and attention to detail reflected on the overall image of the airline, and did not make me feel like a second rate citizen in a second class seat. I've noticed over the last decade-plus that this has changed. I've been rudely spoken to for reaching for a napkin off the cart as I was not given one with my drink. My elbow was hit by the cart as it moved from back to front of isle, and no apology followed. The garbage was collected moving back to front, so I had to get the attention of the attendant after she flew by me. I thoroughly researched the size of the suitcase required prior to flying, and bought a new one to meet the requirements. My suitcase did not fit on American Airlines. Why am I bringing up American Airline? When getting to the airport in Milan, Italy, 2 1/2 hours prior to flight departure, I approached the British Airway counter. As no one was there, I proceeded to believe I was too early, so I had breakfast. I again approached the British Airway counter and still no one was there. On my way to the bathroom, I found the flight board and followed the directions. I searched for British airlines at the gate I was directed to, but was unable to find it. I asked an attendant, and I was directed to the American Airline gate. It was very confusing. It would have been nice if there was a sign at the British Airways counter directing its customers to American Airlines."

Punti negativi: "No individual entertainment units. Forced to watch airline selected movies. No free cocktails. I booked BA for numerous reasons and should have been switche'd."

Punti negativi: "Initially the flight was booked with my wife and seated next to each other. Somehow during the switch in airlines the seats were separated. We were forced to see if we could find a passenger flying alone to switch with. Additionally the 767 did not have individual entertainment screen. Being able to watch movies of your choice makes a long flight more enjoyable."

Punti positivi: "This plane seemed newer than the outbound one with better electronic controls Except for the baggage check in process, security etc. moved quickly and smoothly."
Punti negativi: "Very long wait at the Check in Counter. I'm an AA member, (>20 yrs) but NOT eligible for Priority Check- in ? The Italian counter people sometimes took >10 min. to check in individual families. I saw two agents at one check in where the two seemed to just be chatting?! We were in that line over 45 minutes! Our own check in only took 15 seconds! Gates VERY far from the Check In counter."
