We got to Zurich with 30 minutes to go. We literally ran to get to gate E. We got no help from Swiss employees and got to our gate with 10 min before flight. They said gate was closed. Went to transfer desk, next flight was next day at 1 pm. Missed very important meeting at work that I had planned around for months. Very upset and disappointed. Felt they could have helped us a lot more and got us on our flight."

Punti negativi: "The flight was considered a Lufthansa flight and had a Lufthansa flight number, but was operated by Air Canada. We could not check in online ahead of time for some reason. When we got to the airport, we tried to check in at the Lufthansa kiosk and check in line, but they told us we had to go to the Air Canada area. The ticketing/check in process was very confusing. As for the food, the chicken "wrap" was not a wrap, and was a weird Hot-Pocket type meal. After each meal, we ended up having to hold our garbage for quite some time which made manuvering in and out of seats a little tricky. I wish the seat cushion had a little more cushion since we were sitting for so long. Also at some point the overhead lights came on and stayed on, which was annoying if you were trying to nap."

MY CAR IS PARKED AT TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!!! I am having to now rent a car and drive there tomorrow (Friday) to collect my car, at another additional cost of $100 plus a 10-hour round trip. Due to the lack of information and communication on your companies behalf, I am down close to a $1,000 and will lose 2-days in work as of the additional days I am having to travel back to Toronto to collect my vehicle. I would appreciate contact from your organization to find the avenue I need to take for compensation of my time and finances. Regards"

In the economy/coach cabin, they squeeze the seat distances to such an extent that, when the person in front of you leans their chair back, you cannot get out of your seat at an upright angle. You have to significantly bend your body. To not loose your balance, you have to grab on to the seat in front of you and that disturbs the other passenger. If they're sleeping, they can be woken up by that. Lufthansa does not care much for its passengers. Nor do many other companies, for that matter, but I think Lufthansa is taking things further than most airlines. It is a disgrace. Their brand is not what it once was."

It didn't seem right that some of us had to stay in our little crowded area while others used up 4 seats and I don't mean for laying down."

That is ridiculous in this day and age - surely the two airlines can coordinate something were the traveller can check in online on one of the sites. Also, as a vegetarian, I wasn't able to select my meal - I had to hope that they had enough vegetarian meals to give me one. This is another problem thanks to the code share. If this is what code sharing is like, I won't be doing it again. No thanks. I'll book directly."

As a result, I had to rely on Austrian Airlines' copyright licenses, and they were less than satisfactory. Fortunately, I'm flying back with Lufthansa, so I hope there will be more variety there. The lavatory at the back of the plane was filthy by the end of the flight. I don't understand why the flight attendants feel to good to clean the lavatories for their passengers. We are stuck on a flying can for 9-10 hours and deserve to have clean lavatories during that time. At one point, I was thirty and approached the back of the plane. When I entered the rear galley, the ladies looked at me like I was intruding. If self-service is not available for passengers, then flight attendants should be prepared to serve their customers."

The seat was very narrow - it felt cramped and as if they turned a space designed for 2-4-2 into a 3-4-3. When I called the customer service before the flight to get a seat next to my husband who had a separate reservation, it took about 4 calls before anyone even mentioned that out reservations could be linked together. will not fly Austrian airlines again."

I reached my final destination without my luggage waiting for me at the conveyor belt. It arrived a day later."
