The crew on our flight represented 19 different countries and spoke a total of 19 different different languages. The woman ahead of me was very unpleasant about her screen not working, and every attendant she spoke to was infinitely polite and pleasant. They tried to reset her screen, and eventually found an empty seat and moved her to first class!"

We had seats in row 52 BC - a bulkhead outside the mid galley ....it was an incredible experience to watch the crew start eating from containers, peeling apples and making salads from a plastic bag before the passengers were served. The flight attendants when not eating were taking selfies ...so much for the "emirates experience. The curtain was drawn once for about 15 minutes between our seats and tghe galley area. I was so amazed at the lack of professionalism and the amount of food consumed by the attendants I took photos of the constantly stuffing food in their moths and then trying to speak to passengers."

I am not sure how you could gain compliance, but it would be a good idea."

But aside from that, the flight compared very well to other carriers. The seating and legroom were average for Economy. The overhead bins were huge by comparison to other planes. The service and personnel were excellent. The food was very good and the entertainment options were extensive. The airline provided free wifi, but, for some reason, I could not access my mail server or internet. All-in-all it was a positive experience and I would definitely fly Emirates again."

One reason I had stayed with Delta was although the ticket prices were higher the bags were free, now higher ticket prices and bag fees! Guess I will have to search for another air carrier. Delta is not loyal to me so I won't be loyal to Delta! Fuel is cheaper so they raise fees!"

I am a Delta frequent flier, and despite logging on and checking in, was told at the airport counter that I would be assigned a seat at the gate. Of course we were assigned to the last row of the antiquated MD 88, right next to one of the engines. As if the lack of reclining seats was bad enough, the engine noise and vibration was almost unbearable on the flight that was delayed one hour on the Tarmac. The crew was understanding and we did get to Orlando safely...a big plus."

(I have a headphone for iPhone X so I could not connect it to their entertaiment system.)"

I paid $75 at the check in counter which is exhirbitant compared to other airlines. my brother paid $100 for a bag which was 9 pounds over the limit- that's outrageous!! The person at the check in counter had difficulty with the credit card machine and we waited over 20 minutes to resolve the issue."

Our party was not accommodated when we asked for seats together. My husband and I were separated and we were separated from our kids. The ground crew did not seem to care. Take off was delayed, but the captain never told us why. The guy in front of me reclined his seat the whole time. I felt like a sardine in a can. So uncomfortable!"

The woman behind me gave me the local phone number for Austrian airlines and I was able to get on a flight to US leaving in 30 minutes. I managed to make it, and would not have had I waited another hour in line. Why no surge of staff to help? All 3 help numbers on my Lufthansa e-mail receipt could not help. Horrible experience."

As a result, I had to rely on Austrian Airlines' copyright licenses, and they were less than satisfactory. Fortunately, I'm flying back with Lufthansa, so I hope there will be more variety there. The lavatory at the back of the plane was filthy by the end of the flight. I don't understand why the flight attendants feel to good to clean the lavatories for their passengers. We are stuck on a flying can for 9-10 hours and deserve to have clean lavatories during that time. At one point, I was thirty and approached the back of the plane. When I entered the rear galley, the ladies looked at me like I was intruding. If self-service is not available for passengers, then flight attendants should be prepared to serve their customers."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."
