Punti negativi: "I was asked to check my carry-on. I have used this carry-on more than 50x without an issue. I have even put it in the smaller compartments on smaller Bombardier jets. I don't have an issue with being asked to check luggage, but I resent being asked when others are allowed to take their carry-on onto to the plane without issue. Right in front of me while I was waiting for a baggage tag, others were being checked in with carry-on equal to mine and allowed to take it onto the plane. I can only surmise that my ticket limited me to one bag onto the plane, although they would not tell me this. This was not clear when I booked the ticket nor when I checked in on-line. I had a 40 minute connection in Zurich so was very concerned that my luggage would not make it. Luckily, it did make it to my next stop. Swiss Air seems to have different restrictions than other airlines which I have encountered before. I take ownership that I should be aware of a tickets restrictions but this was a multi-leg trip (5). However, I will tend to avoid Swiss air in the future, to avoid having to research their unique restrictions."

She was making plans to leave all of her bags in the driveway when she got home. I discretely let boarding staff know and was told there is nothing they can do about it. They also cannot change my flight, or my seat, in the event that I am seated next to the person with the issue. They did give me a bag in which to place my carry on before storing it overhead. But once on the plane, I realized that my checked bag would be thrown in with everyone else's. In addition, I had forgotten to preorder gluten free food. The airline had nothing gluten free to offer me on a prolonged international flight and did not even offer to produce any gluten free snack (peanuts? cheese?) to tide me over. My luggage is still sitting in my car awaiting a process. However, in the unfortunate event that it has come into contact with bedbugs it may be too late :("

Ecco, Austrian semplicemente non lo sa. Il volo, già in ritardo di mezz'ora - strano - all'altezza di Graz deve rientrare a Vienna per guasto, dicono, all'aria condizionata. Ci dicono che ci daranno informazioni al gate. Può capitare, naturalmente. Solo che: - le informazioni non le danno al gate, ma allo Starbucks dell'aeroporto, senza avere aspettato e neanche avvertito tutti i passeggeri - ci dicono che nonostante i mercatini natalizi ci hanno trovato comunque un hotel, facendolo un po' pesare, mentre è loro dovere, siccome il volo è ritardato al giorno dopo. Peccato che l'hotel è a 120 km e loro non hanno trovato il bus per il trasferimento (incidentalmente, anche questo è da norma di legge un loro dovere...) - alla fine come assistenza in termini di generi di conforto commisurata alla durata del ritardo, 10 ore, il tutto si è ridotto ad una bottiglietta d'acqua e un kit toilette per il mattino. In ragione della distanza degli hotel disponibili siamo stati invitati pressantemente a passare la notte nel terminal, ma: - nessuna assistenza. Dopo i controlli di sicurezza neanche una bottiglietta d'acqua, neanche un voucher colazione, neanche qualche coperta o cuscino per dormire meglio sulle scomodissime sedie/divano. E neanche uno scusate. - nessuna reazione alla possibilità di apertura della business giunge: è chiusa e non la riapriamo per voi. Neanche per farvi dormire un po' meno peggio. - nessuna specifica informazione ai passeggeri sulla evoluzione della situazione - siamo stati abbandonati a noi stessi, in sostanza Violazioni multiple e ripetute del regolamento CE 261/2004. Ma pagheranno, eh, se pagheranno..."

The seat was comfortable and flight went very smoothly. Food served on board was perfectly edible. Disembarking also went without problems. The flight staff even accommodated the requests of a particularly nasty Russian family seated behind me even though they were total jerks. I was very impressed with their professionalism."

In genere Lufthansa ultimamente pecca di non puntualità. In tre mesi poi, hanno perso il bagaglio. Poi ritrovato, una volta conseganto in hotel, la seconda ritirato in areoporto in maniera approssimativa. ad Hannover.

Good budget airline, comfortable seats and pleasant crew

I was held-up at boarding by rude employee who insisted that I had to wait until all other passengers had boarded the lane before issuing me a boarding pass so I can board the plane. I could not check-in earlier and get a boarding pass since I had flown directly from Dusseldorf.

Neither the agents at the gate nor at the transfer desk were willing to help me get to Manchester. Never fly EW again."

Food tastes bad, plus I was skipped from the second meal despite having prepaid for it (flight attendant overlooked that my seat was on a list, part of the problems that come with nickeling and diming for every single thing including even meals on an international flight). Despite flying to the US, attendants consistently only spoke German to me and my wife, did not speak on both German and English."

Punti negativi: "Cancelled the flight from Cologne to Zurich - It was showing on time when we left home, but at the airport we saw the status change. No one called or emailed us even when all the details are provided while booking the ticket. The line for the ticket counter at the airport was miserably long, so we had to use international roaming to make our calls to customer service. They never told us why the flight was cancelled and changed the topic to how they can rebook us - my suspicion is that there were very few customers for that flight so they thought its cheaper to cancel the flight and let the customers figure out the solution. Horrible! Te only option given to us was a late night flight to Vienna (more than 12 hours later), and then staying overnight there and then flying to JFK. That was of course unacceptable as we had to join work on Monday. I asked them to then look into Dusseldorf and any flying options from there. They were able to book us a flight from there. We rushed to DUS airport - The email confirmation took hours to show up in my inbox even though they promised 10-15 minutes. After waiting for the confirmation for a little, we had to take a cab from Cologne airport to Dusseldorf airport. It cost us over 200 euros and a lot of stress. The whole experience was a nightmare and I would not wish it upon anyone."

Punti negativi: "The flight was delayed. Then, after flying to Berlin, the staff said we couldn't land there because of weather. They decided to fly us to Leipzig-Halle (another city a two hour drive away) and said they would provide busses to take us back to Berlin. But then, when we got to Leipzig, they said oh we might be able to fly you back to Berlin, just let us refuel. So we all sat in the plane for an hour and a half while they did that. Then, they announced that they couldn't go back to the Berlin airport because there were too many planes landing there. So they told us to get off the plane, go into the arrival hall and we would get more information there. When we got out of the plane, we were greeted by an information lady who informed us that no trains were running at that hour (it was about 11:30pm), and Eurowings would not provide us with accommodation or transportation back to Berlin. The information staff told us that our options were to personally pay for either a taxi back to Leipzig (two hours away!) or rent a car, or wait until morning to take a bus or train. I was able to stay with a friend in the city, and paid to take a bus to Berlin the next day, but what about everyone else who didn't know people in Leipzig and had to fend for themselves? As a young woman traveling by myself in a foreign country, landing in an unexpected city in the middle of the night, it could have been a potentially dangerous situation. I am extremely frustrated with Eurowings. I paid them to take me to Berlin, and they didn't. I talked to customer service on the phone, and they told me that I should make my own travel plans to return to Berlin and they would reimburse me later. Aside from the fact that there weren't buses, trains or flights running till the next morning - I shouldn't have to make my own travel plans! My plans were to fly Eurowings from Duesseldorf to Tegel, and they should be responsible for getting me there. I am never flying Eurowings again, and sharing the story with any friends who travel in Europe. They absolutely do not care about their customers."

Not a problem except that it is very unclear where their check in desk was. I stood around for 20 minutes asking anyone who would help me where the desk was. We were finally notified at 8:40 that eurowings was the last desk in the aisle."
