Punti negativi: "Entertainment was dated and poor in function. Our bags were 99 dollars each and we’re both lost and didn’t arrive. I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Punti negativi: "the connection flights was the worse! The gate was changed in Amsterdam 3 times! From D82 to C6 and then to C11. The distance between B82 and C was 20-30 minutes walk. No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM."

Punti negativi: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Punti negativi: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Amazing service! Furthermore, the entertainment on board is great! Nice movies, nice food, friendly flight attendants, etc. They even offered me a second sandwich =)! I truly loved my experience with KLM."

Punti positivi: "The flight itself was fine. We have taken this flight several times and have never had any major issues. Seattle has improved its arrivals hall, so clearing immigration and customs is much quicker than it used to be."
Punti negativi: "Navigating Heathrow when changing terminals is horrid. I have no idea why they make you go through security again when you never leave a secure area. Always allow at least 2+ hours for a transfer. When boarding this flight usually does not have a gate. It is necessary to take a. Is to the plane and walk up the stairs, which seems like unnecessary delays."

Punti negativi: "For this flight, the line of people to board stretched outside of the gate- it was not possible to wait inside the gate. Once we were checked in we had to shove our way onto an overcrowded bus for transport from the gate to the plane. More buses are needed when ferrying people by bus from the gate to the plane, in general (not just on this flight)."

Food awful (tuna sandwiches for everyone served in a closed tube hurtling through the air not my idea of a good time) but it was a short flight from Amsterdam to Malta so whatever."

Punti negativi: "At the time of boarding, the plane was delayed for one hour and a half. Then when we were ready to board again, another delay of 20mim, then 25 min more. We ended up being 2h50 min late. At the end, the crow didn't even call us to inform we were boarding, we had to come at the gate regularly to see the changes."

Punti negativi: "Ground personnel not friendly at all at Heathrow. Plane was totally crowded and bathrooms were unavailable for long periods of time. People stood in the aisles throughout the flight and blocked the aisles, even for the crew. Have to say though, that the plane was full of football fans travelling to Malta for some game."

Punti positivi: "Short flight but everything was great from check in to landing. We have flown many airlines and Air Malta was better than most."

Punti negativi: "Crew insisted on showing boarding ticket when entering the plane even we just went through check on gate. I am frequent flyer, and most companies do not do that. When I asked, stewardess very impolitely answered that I obviously do not know it is Air Malta custom. It seemed to me that she did not know that not all companies are doing that. I left conversation at that point. On the way out of the plain she avoided to address me with even Good buy like other customers... Sad."

Punti negativi: "We watched the woman tag our bags We were in Malta for the last leg of our honeymoon. And somehow our bag with a months worth of clothes was lost. Completely lost. The tag number we were given is for a bag of someone in Nova Scotia. After a beautiful trip we lost over 12k of clothes and make up and shoes. Just a horrible way to end our honeymoon. So awful."

Punti negativi: "Check in was a little confusing. For a small airport, it was tough to figure out which line was the correct line for me. They were too generic and not descriptive enough. The online checkin was also glitchy. I tried three times before managing a complete checkin. I was never sure if I was going to have a ticket when I got to Paris for my next flight. My luggage did it make it. Not sure if that happened in Malta or Paris, though."

Punti positivi: "The Maltese people are so nice and accommodating. I really enjoyed my flight to ROME. I really enjoyed the Maltese Islands."

Punti positivi: "I have used their service 4 times in the last month and it is always consistent. If there is a delay, they communicate regularly the reason for the delay and how they are managing it. This flight was on time and comfortable."
Punti negativi: "The sandwich handed out is not that good and the snack selection is limited. However, for such a short flight (Malta to Zurich - 2 hours), this really isn't a major issue."
