The check in process was long and could have been faster if more staff was available. The line of passengers was too long and there was no one to guide the line. The boarding process was a bit better. Although several announcements were made regarding mask wearing, it was not fully enforced on the flight. This left me feeling unsafe considering the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and flu season.
Horrible experience at JKIA. Basic courtesy was lacking. Only the lady supervisor was pleasant and reasonable but it was too little too late for us.

Also a very disappointing selection of films and documentaries for adults. I ended watching a kids movie with my older daughter and it was the only thing I found appealing. I hated my experience traveling with Qatar. It was stressful and traumatic. I want a full refund. I will also be advising all my friends to never fly Qatar. It was the WORST!"

The flight was gate-delayed for an electrical problem on the original aircraft, and was not able to be fixed in time for us to fly out at the scheduled time. We had to de-plane, and wait while another aircraft was prepped and made available for our flight to Houston, which means a departure some 2 hours later than scheduled, and an arrival about 3 hours late. I appreciate that it isn't always possible to use the scheduled aircraft, but the replacement appears to have been out of service for some time, with seating that was lumpy and outdated, and overhead bins that barely fit most current carry-on specifications and which hung lower than normal (I, and several other people, banged heads on the lower hanging doors). The captain and crew were very nice, and went out of their way to assist several people who misplaced items on the switch of planes, in addition to maintaining a cheery disposition and excellent service despite the difficulties, and that was much appreciated.
