Punti positivi: "Easily the most comfortable I've ever been in TATL economy. Lufthansa's 747-8 is set up strangely: the main deck is arranged First - Business - Economy - Prem. Economy - Economy. This means that if you can book a seat in the forward economy mini-cabin, you get dedicated cabin crew, no other passengers walking through your space to get to the bathroom, plenty of bin space, and – best of all – a lot of aisle space to stretch your legs. Row 16 aisle seats are especially good, as the bulkhead between J and Y doesn't extend all the way, and therefore you can stretch your feet out. Food was actually excellent (for economy), hot and flavorful and generous, with snacks available mid-flight. Beverages also tops – gotta love Lufthansa for offering Campari (!) and more than one wine choice."

There were bouts of turbulence but the pilot immediately changed altitudes to steer away from it. Flying on the 748 is a pleasure and it's a shame these great planes will eventually all be phased out in favor of more fuel efficient 787s and their Airbus counterparts."

I think for the price of the ticket and lower gasoline costs compared to the height of the recession this is simply outrageous. Next time I'll pay for economy plus. You get a seat that is wider than economy but a little bit less legroom than a business one and the second baggage is included. The meal was nothing special but the friendliness of the flight attendants made up for it."

"The company did not know how to handle COVID bureaucracy efficiently or even correctly. We were asked to fill in four forms when only one is needed or even checked at all. I had to come in early to the airport, take a COVID test and then wait in the airport departure lobby for almost 1h to check in while waiting for the test results. Given that I spent a substantial amount to get a business ticket, I expected my time to be respected and to have business facilities made available. Once reached, the lounge now has an ordering system instead of self-service. The food was honestly disgusting, cold boiled rice without any salt and some "Spanish chorizo chicken" that had no chorizo and tasted like boiled chicken dropped in reheated tomato sauce. The plane departed one hour late. The business class seat was small, but comfortable. The company sent a boiler plate email apologizing which is something you appreciate the first time and it becomes grating when you get more than one per week."

Once in the plane, the flight entertainment was poor, didn't work and staff said it was too busy to help us out in putting our stuff on the overhead compartment or even giving us the beer we wanted despite having our choice In front of us."

The man st the AC office had no idea why the bags were not coming and could not get someone to tell him and emotionally dithered and then fell apart. I will avoid travelling on AC again if I can. Worst flight ever. They did not have enough food on board either. At least the pilots were competent."

Arrivati trafelati al gate abbiamo scoperto che il volo era partito mezz'ora prima e si erano dimenticati di aggiornare lo stato del volo sui monitor......................... Dopo un'ora di attesa al banco dell'assistenza ci hanno mandati in hotel e dato il biglietto per il volo del giorno successivo. Parte dei pasti li abbiamo pagati di tasca nostra visti i pochi dollari di buono per mangiare (7$ per la colazione, 10$ per pranzo e 15$ per la cena, spendibili esclusivamente all'Holiday Inn dove la sola colazione a buffet costava 17$ + tasse..."
