On our outward bound flight three weeks earlier, we were all met and escorted swiftly by a flight attendant from the first leg plane (EWR-MUN) to the second leg plane (MUN-Nice) to ensure that we all made it onboard. Impressive. On our return journey, no such luck! No attendant to meet us, and a huge line at immigration, full of panicked and stressed-out passengers jockeying for position, with no-one from ANY airline there to do a triage for those with the shortest connections. Ridiculous. In addition, the passport-scanning machines were very slow and quirky. My own passport was rejected because there was no evidence I had passed through Munich on my outward bound journey!! RIDICULOUS. I managed to slip through to a human being and begged the immigration officer to let me go through with my husband, who had had no such problem. The officer told me he could not find a stamp from my earlier transit through!!! Eventually I suppose he did because he let me through. The stamp was there, I found it, but it had been sloppily applied and was half off the page...hence the rejection by the scanner. We made the flight by minutes. NOT GOOD! Surely Lufthansa could do better in their own country???"

I am only 5’3” and 125lbs but still was faced with a mere 5 inches in front of me when the passenger in front of me reclined his seat. I couldn’t even stand in order to exit the row and had to crawl over the seats to my side. This had me thinking how dangerous this row could be in case of an emergency. Please consider designating these seats either not to be used or optional for passengers."

Single. One. I have always felt as a burden to crew if I asked for extra water or an extra blanket- not on this flight, not with this crew. They came around multiple times per hour during an 8hr and 20min flight, offering various beverages and checking on everyone. I can’t thank them enough for how caring they were to everyone on board. The captain as well was very professional and had a kind spirit when he spoke. Best experience I’ve ever had- (and I travel multiple times per year!)"

На вкус это были просто горячие макароны с майонезом. Да и зелень в салате уже была темная. Полтора месяца назад на рейсе Нью-Йорк - Москва еда была вкусная, да и до этого никогда претензий не было, в этот раз одни неприятные впечатления"

We missed our connection from NY to Miami and since it was a separate ticket I lost those tickets. They didn't update us while we were waiting what's going on. A few times they would announce boarding on the electronic tableau, people would line up and wait for 40 minutes. The staff would just look and say nothing or smile and say "we don't know why you are standing, I didn't tell you to line up!" We had a special meal on the flight. They gave you exactly the same food twice. I was just laughing but other people who had special meals were really upset. If someone asked they would probably say "it's your problem that you don't want to eat like the rest lol! Next time when booking a flight I'll pay more but have a normal experience and not the torture "Russian style""

Don't let a hotel/Airbnb tell you you don't need a visa - you do! I watched 2 girls have meltdowns in the airport because they had hotel reservations, but no visas. Sad, wet eyes does nothing for Russian airport officials."

When our plane was about to land I had my eyes closed because I had been traveling for 24 hours and was still very tired and she (Olga, I believe her name was) yelled saying "MIS, WAKE UP AND OPEN YOUR WINDOW!" this was by far the WORST flight experience I have ever had. I suggest this particular flight attendant reconsiders her career choice because customer service does not fit her. It is safe to say that I will NEVER fly Aeroflot again. And will be spreading the word to my colleagues and friends as I too am in the travel business and know how important it is to feel comfortable and safe when traveling abroad."

"The company did not know how to handle COVID bureaucracy efficiently or even correctly. We were asked to fill in four forms when only one is needed or even checked at all. I had to come in early to the airport, take a COVID test and then wait in the airport departure lobby for almost 1h to check in while waiting for the test results. Given that I spent a substantial amount to get a business ticket, I expected my time to be respected and to have business facilities made available. Once reached, the lounge now has an ordering system instead of self-service. The food was honestly disgusting, cold boiled rice without any salt and some "Spanish chorizo chicken" that had no chorizo and tasted like boiled chicken dropped in reheated tomato sauce. The plane departed one hour late. The business class seat was small, but comfortable. The company sent a boiler plate email apologizing which is something you appreciate the first time and it becomes grating when you get more than one per week."

On a side note, AC switched equipment on this flight several times. Each time the ‘system’ would split up our seats. I had to call in five separate times to pick new seats. I was supposed to have about a 3 hour layover in Toronto, due to multiple delays, flight plan changes, and mechanical failures I ended up getting booted from the 2nd leg of the flight, and having to spend an unanticipated night in Toronto. To begin, my 3pm flight from Seoul to Toronto was delayed to 6pm (the day before the flight was even scheduled, and for no apparent reason.) I wasn't even notified of this change, the only reason I found out was I tried checking in online the afternoon of the day before my flight (only because I remembered to do so myself, never received a check in reminder notice) and found out of the change. So my connecting flight had been bumped, and my ETA to my destination changed. This wasn't terrible, just an annoyance. Second, the flight was stuck at the departure gate for over an our. I'm not 100% sure why, however, after delay after delay, and then a flight plan change, we finally took off over an hour late, this too was was an annoyance, an nothing notable. It wasn't until we landed, where we were delayed on the tarmac for yet over another hour, due to mechanical issues that was the problem. We were stuck for about an hour (the pilot promising we'd be moving in "just 5 minutes", every 10-15 minutes) before the pilot decided to order buses to unload us, to then turn them away once they arrived so that way we could get towed to the gate. It then took an additional 40 minutes for the plane to get hitched, and towed to the gate. Once we arrived at the gate, I tried running through the airport to catch my connecting flight (which I had 10 minutes till boarding, and 40 minutes till departure) only to find out that I had been bumped from my connecting flight (despite having no checked baggage) and would have to stay the night in Toronto. Apparently this is not a rare occurrence for Air Canada to screw up flights. There were other people both on other original fights, as well as mine who were bumped from their connecting flights to various destinations, as well as having lost luggage. Again, individually these weren't exactly huge issues, collectively, they're the reason this has probably been my first and last time flying Air Canada."

Punti negativi: "The stewardesses were ranged from okay to outright grumpy though I understand how difficult it is to always be pleasent when working long hours in a confined space in the customer service industry they still failed me on this."

Punti negativi: "Was put on standby for a flight I purchased a full ticket to, had to wait for an hour by the terminal to make sure I got a ticket, which meant I had no time to get any food. Would only take credit card on the plane so I went without eating all day. Headphone jack was broken, meaning tv was useless"

Punti negativi: "At least two hours delay departing three of four times, virtually no air on the Toronto-Nashville leg then had to sit on runway in a hot plane due to gate not being ready. The international boarding from Toronto to Paris was badly disorganized with two gate attendants and finally another two came over to help but stayed in phone most of the time. We were already delayed. Won't fly Air Canada again"

Punti negativi: "This was the last leg of a 24 hour journey from Venice to Seattle for my sister and me. After having a 3 1/2 hour layover, our plane was supposed to leave at 6:30 PM and kept getting delayed. One of the biggest frustrations was the lack of communication by the staff! We could see them at the counter where our gate was but no one would come out and talk to us! Our plane finally got off the ground at 8:30 PM!"

I chose this flight just because it was supposed to arrive in Miami at a decent time. Ended up sleep deprived at work the next day."

Punti negativi: "No space, no tv, no food, no music, no blanket, no water, nothing. Pack everything you need or bring your credit card"

Punti negativi: "After boarding the flight, having to sit and wait long in the plane....flight delay before take off. no meal without having to pay for it offered only a small cup of juice/tea/coffee to sip on. Not even a light snack or a can of juice is too much to ask for, considering the cost and comfort cut backs to fly with Air Canada"

Then when I got to my seat on this late 3 1/2 hour delay my seat was broken and uncomfortable for the rest of the flight which was three hours."
Punti negativi: "Did not enjoy the flight or your flight attendants They were rude and did not satisfy me as a customer at all Would not recommend Air Canada rouge to anyone and will avoid booking with Air Canada again"

Punti negativi: "The process of going through Customs in Canada stinks! We were herded like cattle in one line, all these people from many flights. Process long and tedious and then people with later flights being processed before others nearly caused us to miss our flight. After nearly 9 hours on previous flight! Not good and then not even a decent snack. I am thankful that the crew waited for us but I didn't know this until I tried to find my gate which had been changed and heard the final boarding call. Also my traveling friends and I were separated and they almost left without me. Awful situation!! Also crew on ground couldn't or wouldn't explain what was going on so kept in the dark until you actually got to next step. Would have been nice to explain what was going on!"
