As such - just before you board the aircraft, you place your carryon bag at the bottom of the steps and then when you get off at your destination, you collect your carry on bag at the bottom of the steps - no time wasted and worked easily."

The Air France flight that was boarding next to ours at gate 9 got everybody onto the plane before our flight did and their plane was scheduled to take off 10 minutes AFTER us. The boarding attendant didn’t do a good job of announcing the group number for boarding. After priority and no baggage passengers, it was just one big mob. Our boarding passes were in group 1 but my mom ended up being one of the last people let through. The 2 attendants made her wait because they needed to tag her luggage. I guess they felt it was too big for carrying on. Which is fine. But they literally made her stand there while they let almost everyone else in line through. They even tagged other luggages and she was still waiting. And when she asked them about it, they told her to wait and they have to assist other people. What’s the point of being group 1 for boarding then? We still had to wait til pretty much everyone else went in. And the fact that our seats were in row 29 which is at the tail end of the plane made it even worse. Now we need to squeeze by 28 rows of people when we could’ve been in our seats and out of the way a long time ago. Terrible service!"

We missed the main event of our trip and were very disappointed. There was only 45 minutes scheduled between the two flights--in which you had to traverse the huge Madrid airport (train), and go through customs and security again. We were 5 minutes late to the gate--after being told in Miami they would hold the plane for us."

Punti negativi: "Check-in machines in Barcelona Airport did not work (since the Vueling shares the code with Iberia, but they did not share the booking codes!). The result is 40 min queue while only one "manual" registration desk opened. The person behind the desk seemed to be very stressed, no shadow of any kindness - it's understandable: the managers had left her alone with a lot of people unable to use their "cool" innovation (registration through machines). If one adds here the unacceptable burden with boarding (30 mins of waiting time before the bus arrived and all that on the stairs of the "sleeve") the flight started fairly "well". The seat assigned was in the last raw (seems for any other type of seat one has to pay like 13 euro more) and with my 2m of height I felt at "maximum of comfort". Thank you, Vueling, for that exceptional "lowcost safari" experience, will try to avoid you in the future."

I purposely did not check a bag because I had limited time to make a train connection at my final destination, plus I had to go thru customs and I knew that in itself would be time consuming. I explained this to the airline staff, but they did not care. I think they should have first asked for volunteers; and if still needed, then randomly select people to check in the carry-on. Also they only were making people with the “suitcase” carry-on to check them in....anyone with a duffle-looking bag was not even bothered. Luckly, I’m mange to make my train connection, but I was running to do this...not fun at all."

I had a valid Schengen tourist visa issued by the Consulate of Portugal. At the time of visa issuance, the printer of the Consulate was not functioning, so part of the visa information was hand-written, but it was properly signed and stamped. The Consulate told me it's valid and said they have been doing so for ten years. The Consulate also said that they, not the airlines, have the sole authority to determine the validity of the visa. When I went to the airport to check in with TAP, TAP staff denied me boarding because they did not believe my visa was valid. I only learned later that this action was inconsistent with TAP's own internal policies. The staff at the kiosk told me that I could either ask for a refund or rebooking of the ticket. But when I called TAP the next day, I was told I could not get a refund even though they should not have denied me boarding. I called TAP many times and got a different answer each time. They simply refuse to compensate me for their own mistake. It's the most horrible travel experience I've ever had!"

I wasted good hour and a half on this and I had to pay $180. After all that at the boarding gate they announced that they will call by zone .they called especial need called frequent flyers zone A never called zone B all they said last minute was this is the final call for flight #.... and I was right in front of them and guess who were the people making the announcement yep the same people at the check in counter"

Even though there were plenty of aisle seats open, the crew member just kinda ignored us. The old lady sitting next to me just slept the whole time and I could not get out to the bathroom. Also since I am left handed I could not really eat since with the right-handed old lady we were hitting each other's elbow and nocking each the food out of each other's hand, I finally pulled my elbow in and ate like a T-Rex. The person in front of me pushed their seat back all the way, I asked the crew member to do something but nothing really was done, since I am a little taller I could not fit my knees, they were crushed."

No food service and voucher was given to cafeteria on exact opposite side and floor of airport. only reason we were able to use was because of the huge delays and problems trying to load the airplane. After the safety demonstration the flight attendants went to rear of plane and sat down in their jump seats for rest of flight. People were approaching them asking for water otherwise they ignored us. After landing stairs were used at rear of plane and door was opened. As we were two rows from the rear my girlfriend asked the male attendant 4 times if we were allowed to use the rear stairs as we were bus loading anyways, he never answered, looked at or acknowledged her speaking to him, he just stood at rear of the aisle ( 3.5 feet away) adjusting his tie and flattening his jacket sleeves. Was very awkward."

This problem ruined a perfect trip."

Punti negativi: "I didnt like the fact that im a paying customer and when i pressed the flight attendant call button to get the attention of a cabin crew, waited for about 15 minutes and nobody showed up, bear in mind that it wasnt the busiest time of flight. I had to wake up the customer sitting next to me so i can walk to the back galley where i found 4 cabin crew members sitting down and chit chatting about their personal lives completely ignoring the chime/sound and light above my seat when i pressed the F/A call button. When i asked for water, one of the cabin crew members pointed towards a bottle of bottle and told me to serve myself as if im a non-paying customer. I paid for my ticket, why should i do their job. In a nutshell, the customer service sucks, for least money i could have taken another airline with better service."

Then when we finally left I was not informed of the 25 hour layover in Morocco and I did not have anything with me for an overnight trip. By the time I got to my hotel after being given the run around for 2 hours, all of the stores were closed for me to purchase toiletries and the room had no towels. The meal the hotel offered was not edible and I had to purchase food on my own. I was originally suppose to land in NYC Saturday at 6:30pm, but if all goes as planned I will arrive in NYC Monday morning at 1:30am. The staff with this airline was not helpful, very rude, and one of the staff told me it was my problem that I could not get to the hotel they assigned to me."

The plane was kept at a very warm temperature, so I was sweaty for most of the flight (I'm usually very cold; it's rare that I find a space too warm). The crew gave me a hard time when I requested the vegetarian meal, claiming that they didn't have one (except they did, which they produced minutes later). I've never been on an international flight that didn't have a vegetarian option. THEN, we left JFK late, and I missed my connection to another Air Maroc flight by TWO minutes. They shut the gate and wouldn't reopen it. Multiple people needed to make this connection; any other airline would have held the plane for the entire five minutes necessary. In conclusion: terrible service and filthy, uncomfortable planes."

So instead of 40 minutes flight, we spent 3 hours in a hot hot bus from Marrakech to Casablanca. And the bus was not even a comfortable regular bus. It was for 15 people shuttle ban. What is more surprising is that because they did not check-in us from Marrakech, and the staffs who put us on the bus did not communicate Royal Air Maroc in Casablanca, they cancelled our family flight reservations to the U.S.A. after we paid the full price! Oh...I forgot to mention that we could not have water or lunch all day long with young kids."

We arrive at the airport after riding a 2-star bus for three hours inly to be told that they had no idea what we were talking about and that no one told them we where coming. Then we were told that there were no hotel rooms available in the whole city (lie) and that all of the available cars to take us to an available hotel where in another city (another lie). On top of that, if you missed a connecting flight on a different airline, you where screwed. I had to buy a whole new ticket just to get home. It was insane!!! So basically a plane full of people were jerked around and lied to by every employee of this airport that we met. Completely disgusting. If you can avoid it, never ever fly Royal Air Maroc."

Once we disembarked, we waited more than 2 hours for our luggage. After an hour, an airline staff explained the delay and then disappeared. She was remarkably defensive and unsympathetic. I understand that weather conditions u in NY contributed to some of this, but the lack of communication by airline staff was unconscionable. Also the food was terrible."

There was a cockroach on the plane, and the sad thing is that they had cockroach spay on the plane. This should not be. New tickets had to be bought my my other family, although their flight was delayed. I am definitely reporting them to the better business bureau. They should not be in business at all. Never again"

People were asked to queue up and then, after an hour, told that we wouldn't be boarding soon, with no estimated boarding time. On the flight I was next to a talk man who had paid extra for a bulkhead seat, but once his ticket was issued he was in a regular seat. The flight crew absolutely did not care. A number of people missed connecting flights due to the long delay. English announcements were incomprehensible."

Punti negativi: "The attitude of the flight staff toward the passengers could be best described as somewhere between prison warden transporting felons and grade school teacher who hates children leading a field trip. To begin with, our flight closed down boarding over an hour before the take off time. When I asked why the flight boarded so early, a flight attendant snapped at me that it was not early. Okay then. Our flight was two hours delayed (so we sat there for three hours) and during that time I asked for a glass of water and was yelled at to sit back down. I attempted to use the bathroom and was yelled at to sit back down. Other passengers became desperately thirsty and antsy, and they were also yelled at by the staff. I was anticipating another full day of traveling after my flight so I attempted to sleep as soon as the lights went off. I was woken up at midnight because the woman, who I assume had never flown on an airplane before, sitting behind me wanted me to lift my seat up while she ate her dinner. Everyone else on the flight was eating with the seat in front of them reclined, but of course I was woken up, yelled at by the staff, and had my seat forcibly returned to the upright position. When breakfast came around, I was deep in sleep, and the flight attendant snapped my seat up (waking me up) without even asking. I was the only person on the flight who had their seat snapped to the upright position for breakfast this way. They also demanded the pillows and blankets be returned over an hour before landing time. It was service so outrageously bad that the entire experience felt surreal, and I had to keep checking with my friend that the events I was experiencing were actually happening."
