We were rerouted to bologna airport, put up in a dingy hotel at the airport and given a sad buffet meal in a dingy hotel meeting room. They should have given a voucher for dinner in the hotel restaurant. They should Have announced over the loudspeaker that no flights would leave Florence the next day due to Hugh winds and we were being bused to bologna and hour away. We could have called central reservations instead of standing in line for two hours. They should have had a line for hotel voucher only so that those who called to rebook could Have proceeded quickly to bolvogna. Instead they had to repeat everything to 200 people .. how inefficient and ineffective canan airline be? And only 2 people at the counter working.. took at least 20/40 minutes per person to get rebooked. We spent from 11am until 845pm at the airport and getting to bolovgna. Sad"

Either put better planes or limit the weight in the planes (less passengers or smaller luggages) for this airport. 2h late made me miss my connecting flight and I had to wait until the next day to get to my final destination. We don't all have extra holidays to spend in airports."

"I'm not really sure what the difference is between Economy and Premium Economy on these long-haul flights, especially when the plan isn't very full and people in Economy can lie down across an entire row. The seats in Premium Economy are a bit bigger, but you can't recline or lie down and I'm pretty sure we get the same food options as regular economy. You get a little goodie bag that you don't really need. Also, there is really no point upgrading to business class on the short flights with Lufthansa. The seat size is the same as the rest of the plane. So, you're paying $50 or so for a pretty small snack/meal and a curtain between you."

Punti negativi: "Lufthansa flight from Florence to Frankfurt was 45 mins late, so a large group of passengers had 30 mins to transfer from plane to bus to terminal to security to gate on other side of airport. They offered no assistance other than to say run, which we did the whole way. When we reached the gate less than 5 minutes after scheduled takeoff they said flight was closed and next flight was 18 hours later. Not one passenger successfully made the transfer. It took over 2 hours to get hotel and food vouchers, and we were forced to stay in airport Holiday Inn with now sweaty clothes and no luggage. Everyone was furious, and the entire incident could have been easily avoided in many ways, including by delaying the flight 5 mins or by providing passenger transportation at any point in the 30 minute transfer from the Lufthansa A arrival gate and the Lufthansa Z departure gate."
