Not the fault of the airline of course, but if there was a bit more leg room, it would have been a less claustrophobic trip. I used to fly a lot back in the 70s and early 80s and I don't remember ever being so uncomfortable. I have another trip flying back home at the end of the week, and, quite frankly I'm dreading it. Also, it was impossible to hear the captain's address, the on-board instructions, or various other announcements, in the airport and on the plane. Especially on the plane; the speakers were far too quiet to hear anything the captain said other than it was a nice day."

Punti negativi: "The flight was delayed for abiut 2 hrs and when we boarded the plabe the auxillary power supply tyat provides the plane with power when it's parked in the terminal was broken which meant the plane was freezing cold, where we were basically forced to sit for another 45 minutes due to some baggafe issue, before the plane finally turned on its engines and warmed up the cabin. This happened in Toronto during winter (-15 degrees Celsius).... Westjet service has been terrible."

Punti negativi: "There was no food for sale on a 4 hour flight from Hamilton to Calgary the flight left at 6:30 a.m., meaning that one had to be at the airport by 5:30 a.m., and for me leave where I was staying an hour before that. It was a connecting flight in Calgary with almost no time in the airport so I didn't get to eat until I arrived in Nanaimo at 1:15 p.m., Ontario time. for health reasons - I'm diabetic, I wish I had known that no "real" food was available. I got a snack which I read had 50 calories, and I got a juice which I normally won't drink to maintain blood sugar levels."

People are tired and not excited to be squished inside a flying tube like sardines, there is no need to pick at them for such tiny insignificant things. As usual, the general public has a poor understanding of common courtesy and basic manners but that's nothing new."

Punti negativi: "Westjet will nickel and dime you for everything. Did a +9h flight from Vancouver to London and no meal is included during the whole flight. They keep trying to upsale you for everything. Not only is the food expensive it is also real garbage. Flight was delayed by 75 minutes and nearly missed my connection. Of course no checked baggage is included in your already expensive ticket. You have to fork in another 30$ for the privilege of checking luggage. WestJet pretends to offer 200-300$ cheaper plane tickets compared to the competition, but this is false. I found plenty of other flights for same or even cheaper prices with quality airline companies like Lufthansa or Air Canada that include a meal and checked baggage and other perks, but in my case I had already booked. I really recommending you looking for other airline companies for any flight that is not short haul. WestJet's slogan is an airline company with owner that care... Whatever the hell that means. Maybe someone can explain? WestJet brags about it's outstanding customer service while at the same time cutting every corner possible on service. Kind of a contradiction."

Siamo arrivati a Zurigo alle 22:45 non cerano treni per Basilea, sono dovuta prendere un treno per Zurigo HB con tutte le valigge e da lí abbiamo preno un altro treno per Basile. Siamo arrivati alle 2 de mattino a casa. Viaggio STRAZIANTE PER COLPA DELLA TAP."

The planes I flew on were very out of date and not comfortable for international travel. I have flown on many airlines, but these planes were by far the worst. Cheap price, for a reason. The seats didn’t recline, the food was terrible, no options were given for food, and the movies were pre-picked. No one had a choice in what they watched. Very outdated. I had 2.5 hours to board my connecting flight and they caused me to miss it. As I waited in the customs line entering Lisbon, I asked a TAP representative if I’d have to get out of the line up and go right through as my flight left at 2:10 pm. They said you will make it, stay in line. I get near the front of the line 2 hours later... hundreds of people were in this line and they only had 2/10 customs agents available!!! I ask another representative how far my gate is since my flight leaves in 30 min and she told me “no you missed it. but don’t worry others will be missing it too”. So no I did not miss it, you caused me to miss it cause I already asked if I would and you people told me no. I run to the gate, which has now changed to the other end of the airport, so I run to that gate and it is 10 min before the flight is to take off. I ask the desk agent at the gate and he tells me the flight has already left. Others had missed it too due to the insane customs line up. So the plane left 20 mins earlier than scheduled with only half it’s passengers..... unbelievable!!! When I went to the service desk they did not show any sympathy or apologetic behaviours whatsoever."

These airlines are doing everything save on costs by jamming as many people as possible onto an aircraft...this makes for a terribly uncomfortable 12hr long red-eye flight. The food was mediocre at best (my gf actually got sick from it), and the boarding process was anything but organized, allowing anyone to board at any given time. It was very hectic and took far too long."

Our luggage hasn't even left Toronto yet? So much for not being able to catch or last flight because our bags were not with us. We finally get our luggage a day later on the exact same flight we would have taken the day before, had Air Canada not screwed everything up."

Thy did provide a bottle of water for each seat, which was nice. After a late start, we made up some time and landed only a few minutes late."
Punti negativi: "I know it's not entirely the airlines fault, but the boarding process for this flight was byzantine. first, the gate was in the 'basement' of the terminal and you had to show your boarding pass to get into the gate area and then you couldn't leave - and the bathroom was outside the gate area. Then we waited for 25 minutes in line to get on the bus to take us to our aircraft after the 'last call' for boarding announcement was made. When they finally put us on the bus, it was another 10 minutes standing still, packed in like sardines, until the bus actually moved anywhere. I have NO idea where the plane was, but we drove and drove, and drove around the airfield until we finally pulled up at our plane. They had two boarding ramps up, one in the front and one in the back, and just told us that low row number should board from the front and high numbers from the rear, but they didn't tell us what the demarcation was. With seats in row 31, it turned out we were over the wing, pretty much dead center, so it didn't matter. It would have been nice to have a frame of reference though. Aside from that, the food was EH!, the service courteous and efficient, but not friendly, the seats cramped, the no-extra-cost entertainment insipid (except for the audio portion - they provided a huge assortment of tracks by a wide variety of artists in many genres). With my (brought with me) earbuds, I gave up on any video except the flight map and just listened to classical recordings to drown out the screaming babies in the next row and provide a pleasant background for snoozing."

After calling condor directly in order to completely cancel my flight, as a 20 hour delay nullified the reason for my trip, I was told snarkily that there is nothing they can do, and I should contact the checking personnel. The checkin personnel had no access to computers and could also no help. Just terrible."

There was no Azores Airlines staff to be found to provide directions or manage the situation, so people kept going into the wrong lines not knowing what the heck was going on. It actually turned out several people had waited in line for an hour for a different flight before realizing they were in the wrong line. Anyways, after a mind-numbing, almost two hour wait, I checked in and went to my gate. The whole flight was delayed since the check-in was so slow. I have no idea what the cause of such a terrible check-in line was, but the Azores Airlines management at the Providence Airport are definitely doing something wrong, and I will avoid flying from there again at all costs!"

This is an 8 plus hour flight--they have the same 4 movies both directions."

Punti negativi: "They crammed way too many seats into the planes; it's really awful if it's a full flight, and if you're claustrophobic or prefer space around you, forget it! When the guy in front of me reclined his seat, his head was practically in my lap. Some tray tables were broken. The planes seem old. But it's the only airline that flies to the Azores from the U.S., I believe, so this is the only option. They also very slow, and we left late to and from the Azores."

Punti negativi: "The 12 hour delay without being told why. We would be told we would leave at a certain time and then it was cancelled, told a different time and it was cancelled, and told again, etc was suppose to be in Lisbon in the morning, arrived in Lisbon near midnight."

Punti negativi: "Not much offered on the TV entertainment systems. The food was pretty bad. Otherwise the flight was fine."

Punti positivi: "Our flight left on time and arrived 45 minutes early. The crew was good and the meal served was okay. I think BOS (and Providence in the summer) are the only non-stop flights to the Azores, so that is convenience. Flight cost was fine."
Punti negativi: "Seats are crammed in to the max. Fine if you have extraordinarily short legs. No entertainment. Main cabin screen was off the entire flight."

Punti negativi: "We had changes to pretty much every leg of our flights. One was delayed by 2.5 hours. I understand that flights get delayed but they hardly gave us any information as to what was going on. The flight was pretty smooth but the flight attendants didn't seem interested in our comfort. They weren't rude but they weren't pleasant either. I guess I'm used to a different style of service that I did not receive on Azores."
