They have old planes, the little TVs by the seats may or may not work and although the crew is nice and well trained, they cannot substitute for the discomfort of 10 hours flights in a crammed place. It was a nightmare... not the way you want to start a vacation. I had difficulty booking my daughter's seat online for the return, but didn't have access to phone service while abroad. In my complaint letter to Swiss Air I requested they place us together. I never got a response and upon check in, they had my son and me in our purchased seats and my daughter at the back of the plane. I asked them if they could do anything about it (I was even willing to give up my seats to move to the back...) yet no one seemed concerned or interested in helping to make this work. They also had no knowledge of my complaint or appeared concerned about my prior experience. I'm so over Swiss Air. My experience with the employees on the phone prior to my first departure, the lack of response to my email, and a disinterested and inattentive staff on my return, have all convinced me to choose a different airline next time."

Lufthansa could have provided excellent service to my family if they had helped us with our connecting flight gate information to navigate the airport terminal we had never been in before. We literally ran to get our connecting flight which was upstairs once we identified the gate # by ourselves."

Then, the delivery company (Direct Courier Services) Lufthansa uses was completely inept and unprofessional - every single one of their employees is a complete moron. We didn't end up getting our baggage for two and half days so we were wearing the same clothes that we left Germany with. Then, after being told by Lufthansa customer service to submit receipts for clothes we had to buy, never got reimbursed or even the courtesy of a reply. After flying Lufthansa for over a decade, will never use this airline again. Epic fail."

If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

I hope you can provide my wife and I better service and an upgrade when we fly back to Washington DC on Flight AF 0054 from CDG to IAD. I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. Flying AF does not want me to spend any more money with your airline in the future."
