Moreover, the seat commands are operated by "light touch" placed just below the wrist and hand, so the seat keeps moving all the time."

We are missing a day in Italy and have been charged a day stay in Sorrento which we are unable to use. I have contacted United customer service to see if they can compensate us."

The 50 minute ATC delay couldn't be controlled by LH, but the original equipment replacement was at the bottom of the overall delay. My "A" window seat in economy had significantly reduce foot space due to a metal box installed in the space. The seat was not particularly well designed, but it's economy so you get what you get. The food was average at best."

Once on the plane, service was excellent and the food and drink options were delicious! The entertainment selections were intriguing and engaging. I asked about this , but was gently denied. the help desk was gracious, which I appreciated. I had an entire row to myself on the United flight to DC, which softened the blow as well but the flight to Munich from IAD was great (2-28-18)"

That being said with some chatting to the service agent she softened up and started to be more helpful. Wish she could have been more helpful from the start and ended up being rerouted through another city despite a codeshare flight leaving directly to my final destination which would have been the normal switch. Oh well, those are the breaks with a bulk price ticket. Once in flight, service was very good and plenty of open seats, so room to stretch out."

That flight was also delayed. From there I rented a car and got home at 3 a.m. instead of 9:45 p.m., about when we would have gotten home on the original flight. If we had waited for the next available flight to the DC area, it would have arrived some time after 2:48 p.m. the day after we were supposed to arrive. I know this because I was told this was the fastest route to DC--before the same Air Canada agent then told me that it was no longer available. A dreadful experience."

Punti negativi: "The departure postponed several times. The comfort in those parts of Toronto and Dulles airport which us Canada express is absent at all. There are no even seats enough for all passengers."

Punti negativi: "3-4-3 economy seating in a 777 that was originally designed for 3-3-3 (2-5-2) makes for really cramped seating. This is in keeping with industry trends, but is regrettable. No brandy/cognac for alcohol selections."

Punti negativi: "Extra charges for baggage; no food whatsoever unless you bought it; staged boarding meant that when we finally were allowed on board other passengers had pinched our overhead cabin space, NOT IMPRESSED; no in flight entertainment unless you had downloaded the AC Rouge player in advance; no recharging socket for tablet devices - so you might just see half a movie anyway. If I pay a lot of money for a ticket, even if it's a budget airline, I expect more."

Punti positivi: "My Flight was canceled without us getting any notification and causing major delays and headaches with NO offer for compensation to help e.g. with a $70 taxi we had to incur to get from DCA to IAD. Poor service"
