The crew was attentive and had a pleasant demeanor. The checkin process was good but surprisingly your ticket counter did not have a CC machine to process payments. Calling in by your staff was a chore and the individual was visibly frustrated when on the other end they could not understand a 4 digit expiration date. The seats were very tight and uncomfortable. The food was minimal in quantity and just ok in quality and taste.

The flight from Rome to Ams was delayed. The flight from AMS to Moscow was missed. - We spent 2h in a linewaiting for the service desk to rebook the tickets - Then, we spend more than an hour to get the hotel - Then waiting for the shuttle another 30 minutes Unexpectedly poor and slow service. Croatian Airlines is operated like a budget airline (EasyJet, WizzAir) but they charge customers the same as a British Airways flight. Poor."

Punti negativi: "I was unable to select the 'fare' with a checked bag, so was planning to pay at the counter. I think the site for the airline is buggy, as it was also an ordeal by trial-and-error to try to check in online. I also could not elect to check a bag during the on line check in process, which I know is sometimes an option. When I arrived at the airport, the check in was a mess (ton of people, everyone was taking forever at the counter) and when I FINALLY arrived at the counter, I was informed that I needed to take a handwritten receipt from the check in counter, go up a floor and wind through a few corridors to find some travel agent (?) desk to pay 40 Euros for my checked bag. Which actually was 48 Euros because I needed to use a card, and was not paying by cash. After I managed to find the desk where I needed to pay, I had to wind my way back downstairs and muscle my way back into the line I had already waited in to finish the check in process. When we arrived in Split, 25% of the flight was missing their bags, which included a member of the party I was traveling with. It took an extra 30 minutes at the airport to file a missing bag claim, and another 38 hours for the bag to finally arrive. Not a great way to spend the few days we had in Split."

I told them it’s 2 hours before my flight take off, how it’s possible? Than she called someone and I was told yiou can checking at # counter. When I found the counter; I didn’t see any sigh by Croatia Airlines. Short story, I ended up to pay 40 euro for my 20 kg baggage’."

Punti negativi: "Our flight to Dubrovnik was diverted to Split due to weather. That's fine, not in control of the airline, but how they handled the situation was miserable. First of all, nearly half of the luggage for the plane was left in Venice. This is a tiny plane with less than 100 people. It's not that difficult to recognize when there is luggage missing. Then, upon arriving and recognizing the luggage wasn't there, we were basically told, "don't worry about it." What? I'm 6,000 miles from home with no clothes and they don't even know where the luggage is at that time! The airline coordinated a bus to Dubrovnik from Split. It's about a 3.5 hour drive and left around midnight. No consideration of how some people might not be able to check into lodging at that time, no compensation for a hotel for the night, and they barely gave us any time to figure out what was happening to make sure getting on the bus was the right decision. The bus driver tried to leave without two of our party because they were *taking too long at the lost luggage desk to report the luggage the airline lost* ! I had to stand in the doorway of the bus to keep him there. The day after finally getting to our destination, I tried to call customer service to check on the luggage situation. THREE times I was asked to hold while they got someone else and was immediately hung up on. I only finally received contact from someone by email two days later. The airline did deliver the luggage to the hotel, finally, but they delivered it to the WRONG hotel and I had to Uber there and back to get it. All-in-all a 1.5 hour cheap flight turned into a 7 hour travel day and cost hundreds of euros more than it was supposed to. Horrible experience."
