Punti positivi: my wife was flying this plane from Zagreb to Split. my wife is late for the last ferry 20.30 from Split to Hvar due to the plane delay and so unplanned should stay at the hotel in split till tomorrow morning. And they'll be 3 hours late for work in the morning.

Very smooth landing.
Punti positivi: There was nothing to like with Croatian Airlines. Flight was delayed over 1 hour, many people missed connecting flights. Crew wasn't helpful in resolving issues. No entertainment. Croatian Airlines is operated like a budget airline (EasyJet, WizzAir) but they charge customers the same as a British Airways flight. Poor.

Punti negativi: I was unable to select the 'fare' with a checked bag, so was planning to pay at the counter. I think the site for the airline is buggy, as it was also an ordeal by trial-and-error to try to check in online. I also could not elect to check a bag during the on line check in process, which I know is sometimes an option. When I arrived at the airport, the check in was a mess (ton of people, everyone was taking forever at the counter) and when I FINALLY arrived at the counter, I was informed that I needed to take a handwritten receipt from the check in counter, go up a floor and wind through a few corridors to find some travel agent (?) desk to pay 40 Euros for my checked bag. Which actually was 48 Euros because I needed to use a card, and was not paying by cash. After I managed to find the desk where I needed to pay, I had to wind my way back downstairs and muscle my way back into the line I had already waited in to finish the check in process. When we arrived in Split, 25% of the flight was missing their bags, which included a member of the party I was traveling with. It took an extra 30 minutes at the airport to file a missing bag claim, and another 38 hours for the bag to finally arrive. Not a great way to spend the few days we had in Split.

Layover in Zagreb on the way to Athens was really long
On the way back from ATH to SPU, a depay of 2,5 hours happened...
Punti positivi: Had to pay for luggage at separate location from check in desk. Counter person was surprisingly confused as to how much money it would be and where we had to go to pay.

Punti positivi: I slept the entire trip. But I did wake up for refreshments and cookies. It was a short flight. Overall the staff were pleasant. the plan was older so seating was a bit tight. We left on time and no issues during the flight.

This had nothing to do with me but rather their scheduling. They really need to allow more time between connecting flights for this and for getting thru passport check
Punti negativi: I didn't make my flight due to long lines at passport check point and Croatia Air would not do anything about it. They are a terrible airline and I would not ever use them again or advice anybody else to use them. My bag was lost on my arrival to Zagreb due to the connection time of flights.
Punti negativi: The connection time of flights needs to be adjusted. I had to fly from Dubrovnik to Zagreb with a connecting flight to Frankfurt. I missed my fight to Frankfurt due to the line being so long at the passport screening area. There's nobody at the airport to help you and they were rude!

Lousy boarding gate procedure and lack of some flight safety precautio
Punti negativi: The boarding began with delay. The boarding call eas absent or hard to hear anyway. The boarding sign was on two places simultaneously, with vision obscured by the in-building wall pillar. Most passengers were sitting in the waiting area expecting the boarding call to be announced on that obvious gate, while they started boarding on another gate around the corner. And it was not Croatia Airlines staff, but some airport personnel. Before landing, flight attendants let some passenger have luggage on the floor in front of the seat in the exit row, which does nit comply with the safety standards. Likewise, some passengers were already using cellular signal before landing, which is another lack of precaution. It us true that flight attendants cannot see whether each and every passenger obeys safety measures, but they should better pass through the aisle and check it rather than grabbing their own seat so early, eapecially when the flight was only half-booked.

Punti negativi: Flight was late. I was supposed to be on a connecting flight with my boyfriend and they cancelled his flight and rerouted him through a different airport but my ticket wasn’t cancelled so we were on different flights
Punti positivi: The flight was OK but we were mislead by your advertising which clearly stated that one checked bag was included with each ticket. When we arrived to check in we were told that was incorrect and we would need to pay for any checked bags.

Punti negativi: Being told to stand in a dark corner underneath a yellow “Departure Assistance” sign and not having anyone show up. We left after ten minutes as no “assistance” appeared to be forthcoming. Food was dry. No entertainment.
Punti positivi: We were scheduled for a 5:40pm flight from split to zagreb, but arrived to the airport a little after 3 and were asked if we'd like to board the 4pm flight to the same destination, instead. After we said yes, we had about a 15 minute wait while the attendant rearranged our information, and then we were whisked to the front of the security line, and immediately boarded. They hadn't even told us they'd upgraded us to business class! One of the best flight experiences I've had.
