To start off, i was flying with two other people and we were not able to get seats together, and the whole seating process with delta is really difficult even when I had called weeks in advance to see if they could try and seat us together. I understand with main cabin tickets you can only choose your seat as you check in, but it would be nice to be able to request seating with a person/group you are flying with. I was placed in the very back row of a busy flight, and noticed that the horrible smell from the bathrooms which made it unpleasant. As said above, I normally have a pleasant experience.. but being a delta sky member I feel as though i do not really receive any differences as to a non-member. I hope this review helps for the next customers! Thank you."

Punti negativi: "Our flight was delayed which caused us to miss our international connection. Flight attendants did not care, did not attempt to get us out faster, or put on a different flight. Asked for an announcement to be made on board or to be moved to seats closer to the front so we could get off the plane quicker, did not happen. Offboarded and sprinted across the airport for our international connection and was notified by gate attendents that the gate closed five minutes ago and that they could not let us on the plane. Meanwhile, the plane sat there for an additional 30 minutes while it fueled and waited for release from air traffic control. There were six travelers total stuck there in San Fran at that gate, all of us begging to be let on the plane to Beijing, the last one for over 24 hours. Zero compassion from staff at the the airline gate. They did not care about us and did not care about leaving their travelers stranded. Our total travel was Denver to Bangkok, 26 hours of travel including layovers in San Fran and Beijing. In San Fran (after missing the gate connection), United rerouted us through Haiwaii and the customer service agent that did this reroute did not finish the reroute to our final destination. We got to Haiwaii and were stranded again, at the United service desk for four hours having to once again provide documentation of our initial travel plans to Bangkok, having them build a new itinerary to our final destination. Overall, 20 additional travel hours have been added to our itinerary, almost double our initial travel time. We have had to call and cancel pre-arranged bookings in Thailand as we are now missing two full days off our trip. I am absolutely disappointed and heart broken as I write this still stuck in the Beijing airport waiting another six hours to connect to Bangkok. My fiancé and I were traveling to Thailand to get married and have received no compassion from anyone at this airline to try and get us there. I fly United for work quite frequently and have never experienced such horrendous service and lack of basic human compassion. I am flat out disgusted by United and will not be using them again, for personal travel or work related trips, because of this horrendous experience."

Arrivati trafelati al gate abbiamo scoperto che il volo era partito mezz'ora prima e si erano dimenticati di aggiornare lo stato del volo sui monitor......................... Dopo un'ora di attesa al banco dell'assistenza ci hanno mandati in hotel e dato il biglietto per il volo del giorno successivo. Parte dei pasti li abbiamo pagati di tasca nostra visti i pochi dollari di buono per mangiare (7$ per la colazione, 10$ per pranzo e 15$ per la cena, spendibili esclusivamente all'Holiday Inn dove la sola colazione a buffet costava 17$ + tasse..."

After standing in line at the United counter for 2 hours, we were told to go to our gate to re-board our plane. we wasted all that time standing and all but 2 agents had left the counter to take a break. it was EXTREMELY STRESSFUL not knowing what would happen to our missed connections. when we reboarded WE still did not have connecting flights.Also, on the United flight to Frankfurt, I had a premium economy seat and it was HORRIFIC. the extra leg room did NOT make the seat more comfortable and I SUFFERED greatly because I am recovering from an injury. Upon arrival in Frankfurt, after a great deal of begging, I got a hotel room for the night and upgrad to economy premium for the flight from Frankfurt to Addis. that Lufthana flight was better because my seat reclined somewhat but still I had a great deal of pain throughout the flight and I would have preferred to have been upgraded to business so that I could lay flat to ease my physical pain. Overall, the experience was extremely STRESSFUL and painful and the only way, I feel that Lufthana can repair this situation is to give me a free upgrade to business on my flight home.to Miami"

Punti negativi: "so uncomfortable seating. united website wofirst offered us $200.00 each because flight was overbooked.we declined. united would not let us check in online due to having no bags. we had to go to airport desk who then sent us to kiosk. we used the kiosk and machine said we had to talk to an agent, who inturn had to see the see the size of our bags. (she was miserable). then she printed our a boarding pass without seat assignment. we then had to go to gate agent who told us we had to wait a couple of minutes. we returned to the gate agent who again said we had to wait .(she was miserable too!!) all the while, for 2 days, we thought of that poor man assaulted on the united flight as they forced him out of his seat and off the plane. was this going to happen to us??? we sat and watched many many crew members board, crew that did not work on the flight. finally we were given out boarding pass with a seat assignment . HATE UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Punti negativi: "Inaccettabile che le hostess siano scortesi e rispondano in modo brusco a domande (tipo dove si trovano le toilette) fatte con gentilezza! Viaggio tantissimo, ma non mi era mai capitato, neanche nelle low cost, che passando con il carrello delle bevande, la hostess sbraitasse "Something?" ai passeggeri, quasi correndo, e che sembrasse addirittura scocciata se viene fermata per dell'acqua!! Pessima impressione, che ha reso ancora più sgradevole un red-eye flight che già di per sè non è un'esperienza piacevole."

Was reminded of my lowly state by being made to wait till the last second to board. Last row of plane. 2 inches of leg room. Leave it to United to figure out a way to create a class of customer so low that you envy all the other cattle. MOOOOO!"
