I brought this to the attention of Kayak/Aeromexico and the flight appeared to changed for our entire party of six. When we arrived to depart from Akron-Canton there were MAJOR issues with Delta acknowledging the change on their end. We waited at check-in for an hour and half before this was resolved. This also happened when we left Cancun and almost missed our flight. Our daughter also had to put on stand-by in Atlanta due to this fiasco. We spent another two hours working with Delta customer service trying to get her a seat on our flight back to Akron-Canton. Had we not been to Cancun airport extra early AND had our flight delayed in Atlanta we would have missed both flights. This was without a doubt the worse experience we have ever had!! It should have been caught and resolved before I ever had to get involved. I am very disappointed and unhappy with the service offered for the tickets we purchased. This was extremely stressful for my wife and kids and tarnished our vacation. This was totally and completely avoidable!!! You can and should do better to service your customers!!"

We found out about delay 8 hours prior, so we had plenty of time to get to the airport earlier. Total delay required me to take additional day off of work."

It was the first time Delta did not come through for me and I must say, it's left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I couldn't believe that there isn't some provision (there is if I had paid for my ticket) and have lost all those miles that I use to fly Delta. So much for customer service."
In azienda siamo passati dal preferire Lufthansa all'optare per KLM su questa tratta. Il personale è più gentile ed efficiente. Il trattamemto in cabina è piu curato viene comunque garantito un oiccolo sanvich e qualcosa da bere.

Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Gate number was available at the last hour or so, which then got changed. Not just this flight. many flocks of people were running around to find their new gate... also as I mentioned climbing several stories of stairs with carry-on isn't fun! Not on this flight, but on my initial departure from US to FRA, monitors said go to Gate B. I got in line for Gate B as there was some security check, then we were told there was another B?!@ We had to go down and take the bus for that...written.. No where!"

The flights were supposed to be with SAS only, but I was mailed by United, requiring documentations for international travel. Before contacting the customer service, I thought this may have been spam/scam... However it was impossible to do an online check in from all SAS, United and Kayak websites. I was therefore forced to check in at the airport with United (again, I wouldn't have known if I had not contacted CS). What really managed to piss me off is that at the time of the check in, not only United was not able to check me in with SAS, but the first flight was also arriving in Chicago at the terminal 1,with the second departing from terminal 5! These terminals are at the opposite poles of the airport (need a shuttle, because it's impossible to walk) and I had to check in and pass through the security again, with a 1:30 hour layover on a transatlantic flight!! Furthermore, Kayak HID THESE DETAILS UNTIL I FOUND OUT AT THE CHECK IN AT THE TIME OF DEPARTURE. I was lucky enough to catch that flight, but only because there was no line at the security. In my case I wasn't traveling for tourism, but I was on my way back to my home country, on the grace period of my US visa. I think it's easy to figure out how many issues losing that flight could have caused to me... I also think this is a deeply irregular way of selling tickets and that kayak should have accounted liable for the issues I may have ran into.

Also the plane's temperature was HOT! I've never experienced such discomfort on a flight."

Punti negativi: "The flight was an icy 61°F. My wife apent most of the 11-hour flight wrapped in 3 blankets. When meals were served, it took at least an hour to clear the trash. Seat space is minimal, but becomes completely intolerable when the person in front reclines their seat. Knees get smashed and the tray table becomes nearly inaccessible. This is a torturous was to spend half a day in a middle seat. This airline still uses the old-fashioned two connector headphones hinting at the age of the airplane. At least the tray tables weren't smelling of vomit and visually dirty as on previous flight. Crew didnt miss an opportunity on either of our flight to charge us for every little luxury, like a snack or alcohol and were fast to hawk their goods for sale. Truly annoying."

We had no way of knowing since it was sold by Aer Lingus and had an Aer Lingus flight number. Tried to check in on line, but was unable. Waited for Aer Lingus customer service on telephone customer service for more than one hour and finally just gave up. Aer Lingus has no Customer Service at all. Do not deal with Aer Lingus under any circumstances. British Airways met our needs!!"
