While my bags were left behind, using Apple Trackers I was able to head straight to lost and found and report the issue, they located them in Madrid, and said they would be on the next flight and delivered to my hotel. Great service, other than the left behind bags. It was a short layover, it happens.

We purchased 2 business class tickets in June for a trip in September. We were downgraded to economy when we were told there were no seats left in business class. Still trying to get refund. Not flying Iberia again.

I was told by the airline (American Airlines) that because this was out of my control that I would be refunded. The Air France flight that was boarding next to ours at gate 9 got everybody onto the plane before our flight did and their plane was scheduled to take off 10 minutes AFTER us. The boarding attendant didn’t do a good job of announcing the group number for boarding. After priority and no baggage passengers, it was just one big mob. Our boarding passes were in group 1 but my mom ended up being one of the last people let through. The 2 attendants made her wait because they needed to tag her luggage. I guess they felt it was too big for carrying on. Which is fine. But they literally made her stand there while they let almost everyone else in line through. They even tagged other luggages and she was still waiting. And when she asked them about it, they told her to wait and they have to assist other people. What’s the point of being group 1 for boarding then? We still had to wait til pretty much everyone else went in. And the fact that our seats were in row 29 which is at the tail end of the plane made it even worse. Now we need to squeeze by 28 rows of people when we could’ve been in our seats and out of the way a long time ago. Terrible service!"

il bagaglio è stato trattenuto e non mi sono state date spegazioni, forse era rimasto a Chicago. Mi è stato portato dal corriere dopo tre giorni e non ho ricevuto alcuna spiegazione sul perchè di questo prolungato ritardo. Il corriere che a detta dell'ufficio lost and found dell'aeroporto di Capodichino, avrebbe dovuto avvisarmi per concordare orario, non lo ha fatto, rischiando di non trovarmi a casa. All'aeroporto nessuno rispondeva a telefono nemmeno i carabinieri
il bagaglio non è stato imbarcato non so perchè, il cambio dii terminal e i controlli per la seconda volta della security nonostante si trattasse di un transito, mi hanno fatto rischiare di perdere l'aereo.
Mi è stata preclusa la possibilità di acquistare il bagaglio da stiva online, il che è assurdo. Capisco che la tariffa economy non lo consentiva, ma per principio essendo il viaggio intercontinentale e di 21 ore, doveva darsi la possibilità. Il tempo di transito all'aeroporto di Chicago è stato di 1 ora e 48 minuti, pochissimi per cambiare terminale, prendere la valigia, superare di nuovo la security e imbarcare di nuovo la valigia, ho dovuto scavalcare i nastri correndo e chiesto ai passeggeri di farmi passare, assurdo. Per finire il bagaglio mi è stato restituito dopo tre giorni, allucinante. Ciò nonostante il lunghissimo stop a Monaco dalle 9,30 alle 15 circa, la compagnia ha avuto tutto il tempo di avvisarmi. Solo atterrata a Napoli mi è arrivata in concomitanza l'avviso che il bagaglio non era imbarcato. Dopo reclamo finalmente è giunto dopo 3 giorni e mi sono già rivolta alla assicurazione

Parte dei pasti li abbiamo pagati di tasca nostra visti i pochi dollari di buono per mangiare (7$ per la colazione, 10$ per pranzo e 15$ per la cena, spendibili esclusivamente all'Holiday Inn dove la sola colazione a buffet costava 17$ + tasse..."

Punti negativi: "Inaccettabile che le hostess siano scortesi e rispondano in modo brusco a domande (tipo dove si trovano le toilette) fatte con gentilezza! Viaggio tantissimo, ma non mi era mai capitato, neanche nelle low cost, che passando con il carrello delle bevande, la hostess sbraitasse "Something?" ai passeggeri, quasi correndo, e che sembrasse addirittura scocciata se viene fermata per dell'acqua!! Pessima impressione, che ha reso ancora più sgradevole un red-eye flight che già di per sè non è un'esperienza piacevole."

Punti negativi: "Check in kiosk couldn't scan phone was glad to unload my carry-on and check it for free. Should be encouraged to check 1 bag for free from start for smaller bags. Flight attendant was crabby when I tried to squeeze past into my seat. She kind of apologized by being nicer to me after that. They kind of yelled at passengers to take their seats to take off. I liked United. Too bad about the incident I read about. I was on a flight with no available seats to LA and thought someone had taken my seat. Turns out I was reading it wirong on my phone abd the last seat available was actually mine."
