The crew was courteous but the hostesses could try smiling a bit more. Their courtesy was appreciated but it felt very methodical, more of an obligation and not spontaneous. The pilot did a great introduction and gave information about the trip. Also the plane toilets were clean compared to other companies. I expected to see a wider selection of more recent and award winning movies. Will definitely fly Turkish Airlines again."

I have gold status on Star Alliance, which got me an upgrade from Bishkek to Istanbul, but didn't help on this flight."

The thing that made me really upset was that we all (passengers) left the terminal to get to the plane and we had to wait outside till we could start entering the plane. I really don’t understand why someone made us to wait outside while it’s freezing cold when the doors are not open or plane is not ready. That was unreasonable and ruined my trip."

Everything was difficult. Bag drop didn’t work - we had to queue to to go to the desk 3 times and the lady eventually did it herself. Staff were polite and nice."

Ukraine Airlines might be the only International Airline that does not have this. How can you not have this option for passengers in 2018 when you know people are using laptops and cell phones more than ever? This is unacceptable. 2) there are no television options on the headrest for passengers. Again, I do not know of any other International Airline that is not allow each passenger the ability to watch movies in front of their seats. The movie option for Ukraine Airlines is extremely outdated. 3) when taking the international flight from New York to Kiev, the food option is not good. It is only one Hot meal served. To give passengers a cold sandwich as a first option on an 8hr international flight is acceptable. It appears to me that Ukraine Airlines is 10 or 15 years outdated. I travel to Ukraine often and I do as much as I can to avoid your airline. Also whenever I'm talking to passengers in other airports and even passengers boarding Airlines we all talk the same about your airline. Most people are disappointed with your Airlines but have to use it because scheduling etc."

Nobody had a clue and was interested to help me. I needed to get mad and curse in order to be sent to the desk #1 with their technical expert. After another excruciating 20 minutes with absolutely unacceptable customer interaction I was handed the two boarding passes to Amsterdam and Detroit. 0 points in customer service. At times I thought I'll have an heart attack. Lousy as hell. Obviously the so called partnership of KLM and UAI is not a good idea, because this piss-poor experience is falling directly back on KLM (and in my case Delta Airlines, of which I am still a fan). KLM should either dump them of educate them and make them follow their standards."
