"I have some pictures to prove it , my flight from SP to Fort Lauderdale I could not sleep at all. Not only me but the passenger in front of me . The seat was broken, where you rest your head it was falling apart, I tried to put it back but kept falling. The flight attendant tried once and gave up . I asked to change seats and they did not let me do . I had to fly basically straight all night , I could not rest my head on the seat. Never again with this company"

This information was disclosed only after I asked if the flight was on time because I had a international flight to catch at my final destination Sao Paulo - GRU. Instead of helping and apologizing for the hassle, the attendant said that I had to pay for my carry-on (that was 10kg) because I had another hand bag with my laptop in it. I said that I would not pay, and that Azul should return me money first for not delivering the service I purchase - which was the flight from Governador Valadares, MG to Sao Paulo, SP (with a quick stop in Belo Horizonte, MG). Instead they were making me miss my international flight, and besides not taking any responsibility for it, this woman is telling me that I had to pay for a carry on?!? I was mesmirized by the lack of sense of this flight attendant. After telling me that I was going to get in Sao Paulo at 9pm instead of 5pm, and that I would have to run to get a bus to another terminal and hopefully make it to my international flight that was at 10:20pm, she insisted I’d pay. I told her that if she could get me to my destination at 5pm maybe I wouldn’t mind paying, but since that wasn’t the case, and I’d have to run to try to catch another flight because of Azul Airlines, that she should really think about it and let it go, and let me go with my bag as a carry on. She gave me the ticket, and as I grabbed my bag and went towards the bus, she threatened me, saying that in Ipatinga and in Belo Horizonte (my first conection flight) they would not allow me on the plane with the carry on. Since the non-sense continued I just took her as a mentally disable person, and ignored her threat. A full bus and 2 vans headed to Ipatinga (100km away in a dangerous highway), packing the flight there, really making me think that this non-sense was just a way Azul Airlines figured out to save money in fuel. The flight was completely full, the AC not working properly, and with the heat and humidity people were smelly. It was absolutely awful. The flight attendants in Ipatinga (way nicer than the ones in Gov. Valadares), distributed water to the passengers that looked like they were about to faint, the ones sweating profusely, the elderly and the kids. By the way, the carry on bag was not an issue at the other airports. Once in Belo Horizonte I noticed that my original Azul flight from Belo Horizonte to Sao Paulo at 3:30pm as 1 hour and 15 minutes LATE. I run to the gate and explained what happened and after crying out loud was able to convince the Azul attendants to let me in on that flight so I wouldn’t miss my international flight. They made me wait until last minute but I cried: this is the flight I had a ticket for. It’s only fair you let me in! So they did. And I made my other flight. But not before I got upset, had a headache, stomach ache and felt demoralized by Azul staff."

Punti negativi: "1stly the lady at the check in was not nice [ i should have gotten her name -] she was rude and quite 'authoritarian' which is uncalled for- when you have paid an expensive ticket are just trying to check in. then I checked an extra bag - and could not pay where i checked in. i had to go to another counter to pay - there was a line and it took a good few extra minutes - and i still had to get thru security. if you can pay at the check in counter this would avoid this extra step. i was really not happy about it swiss air needs better efficiency and better customer service"

Put on the spot to give up my seat for a couple with a 6 month old infant due to the fact that the attachable bassinet had to be in front of the D seat. The entertainment system proved enough variety for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves on the flight. The agent seated our entire family of four together in the middle section, which was convenient for all of us."

This hour delay caused me to miss my next flight to Puerto Escondido, Mexico on Viva Aerobus. I had to stay the night in Mexico City because it was the last flight leaving that night, and I had to purchase a new flight to Puerto Escondido."
Punti positivi: "The sanitizing of the aircraft was beyond expectations. The personal wipes were a plus so we could clean the areas around our seats to our satisfaction. The individual snack bags are a great idea to minimize handling. The boarding rear to front should have been in place years ago and the deplaning was about normal front to rear with distancing."
Punti negativi: "I dont know WHY Delta changed my flight with ALIITALIA, but, DON'T DO IT DELTA. The check in process took an hour, not talking about the line, the ACTUAL checkin at the counter. I couldn't complete my web checkin at the AliItalia web site. Landed in JFK, still sucks as an airport, nobody helps, nobody explains anything, very poor signs and instructions, Global Entry kiosk are hard to spot. My connection ticket didn't have the TSA/PRECHECK legend, went to AliItalia counter, the lady at AliItalia barely said anything when I asked for help with that, her immediate answer was to disengage and sent me to another terminal "to talk to Delta". She didn't explain or didn't want to give an explanation until I started to act as an already 9hr30min flight frustrated customer in a very old, very poor plane with poor food service. Again, I bought an over $1,000 ticket with DELTA, NOT ALIITALIA, if Delta send people with their "partners" at least make sure that they are taken care of properly."

No turning back Our seat assignments had us separated on some segments and also at window and middle seats. On all flights we were bumped up to comfort seats with an empty seat next to us for his cast and the final flight home put in an earlier flight home to avoid a six hour layover! Delta really went over and beyond expected."

I had a severe cold and that was certainly not something I needed, I tried to get some rest, but that was impossible. The seats are getting smaller and smaller, hardly any legroom whatsoever. Also, what I had planned on bringing on the aircraft as carry on (which was my work equipment, tablet/printer etc), I had to check in as luggage because it was "overweight" meaning more than 8 kg and pay ADDITIONAL $200 (in addition to the $100 I already paid for one suitcase). I've seen many passengers with "heavy" carry on, which they were apparently allowed to bring into the cabin without any problems. I had never had to pay for any carry on, and I am seriously considering using another airline for future business travel."
