So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

The line was huge and there were 5 counter agents, but 3, and at times 4 agents, at a time, were only pulling from the priority boarding line. We had to wait more than one hour to check in. Than to the boarding, the same people from the counter were the boarding agents. The boarding was extremely slow and again unorganized."

The people at the gate were unbending and I'm so disappointed that it is more important to you to make money than help non-profit organizations. Was in economy so I can't expect too much but I would love if there was a little more room especially for people stuck in middle seats. Seats were fairly comfortable. There was a lot more leg room than I have before which made the 10+hr flight better!"
Punti negativi: "Boarding didn't go well for me as I almost missed my flight due to delays (but that didn't make me feel upset towards Air Canada, just bad circumstances that I had to be honest about). Crew was fairly friendly - a little hands off (which is good) but I wasn't wowed by them. Wasn't a lot of movie options. I realize you can't get a TON but a few more current movies would have been nice."

Punti negativi: "The flight was fine, but when I got home, I had two charges on my credit card from Air Canada. When I called, the woman didn't know what they could be for, so she told me to email Air Canada flight feedback. I still haven't heard from them."

Punti negativi: "Captain's announcements were inaudible from the wing seats. Seats very cramped - I'm only 5 feet tall and barely had room for my legs. Also, unable to see safety demonstration as the seat backs were too tall for a short person to see anything but the back of the seat in front of me."

Punti positivi: "The flight number was changed, but the new flight got in 45 mins earlier which is always a good thing. Every seat had a screen which kept me entertained."

Punti negativi: "I booked my flight 8 months in advance and pre ordered a vegetarian meal a week before leaving for my trip. They "forgot" one of my meals (breakfast meal) on my return flight home. Hey also gave me a tuna sandwich for my snack, which means they also didn not have a vegetarian sandwich for me in between my dinner and breakfast meals. It was the first time every traveling overseas that they've made an error with my meal plan after flying on multiple airlines. My connection was a nightmare as I had to wait to go through security and customs which took over an hour and then my second flight was delayed. I will never fly through Canada again from the U.S. To another destination country."

Punti negativi: "Moving through security and customs in the Toronto airport was incredibly slow, with 4 or 5 checkpoints, all with lines. Staff were polite but there were not enough of them. We almost missed our connecting flight, and our bags apparently did miss it, because they have not yet arrived in Chicago (see previous comments). Air Canada should have seen the problem in terms of timing with the connecting flight and expedited better. Will try to avoid Air Canada in the future, especially if there are connections in Toronto."

Punti negativi: "No screen to watch movies, had to download their app to watch anything on my phone, which I was not made aware of beforehand."

Punti negativi: "I found the seats quite uncomfortable which is unusual for me as I don't have back or neck issues. Once I was able to position the seat after take-off the comfort was improved."

Punti negativi: "The seats in coach were ridiculously close together. When the person in front of me reclined their seat, there couldn't have been more than 6 inches between them and my nose. Felt like Spirit Air had purchased Air Canada."
