Punti negativi: Due to a delayed flight the night before, we were rescheduled and consequently missed another flight. Nothing was done about this since it was a separate trip. We had to pay another $1300 for new airline tickets to get back to the US.
Punti positivi: Deni, our flight attendant, was most attentive, giving Robert, who is legally blind, assistance with safety features if needed, one on one as we were seated.
Punti negativi: The flight was delayed as we were waiting for documents required for our entry to the UK - surely these should have been ready in advance? Perhaps a taste of things to come if (when) we sadly leave the EU. Same poor sandwiches.

Punti negativi: The food is terrible. So is the crew. Something has gone wrong with Lufthansa latel. I used to prefer flying Lufthansa for their great service and meals. The food has become quite disgusting. The crew is very rude. They show no respect to their non-German speaking passengers, which is unacceptable!
Punti negativi: Snack was packaged bread stick bits. No flavor. Must take of headsets for take off and landing.

Punti positivi: I liked the explanation given by the pilot when we finally got our seats on the plane. Apparently one of the computer racks wouldn't switch on, so they changed some other computer racks, and then the delay was two hours so he decided we could go flying without the broken bit. No doubt they'll be having another attempt to fix it during the next delayed turn around, or he'll phone up tech support and do a factory reset.
Punti negativi: The crew called the gate, allowed the entire flight to pass through the gate and then as we stood in the boarding gang way told us the flight had been delayed by the captain but they did not have any more information. We were then held for 2 hours sitting on the floor because the crew had taken our boarding cards and didn't want us to return to the terminal. At least I didn't pay for any upgrades as that was a just sitting on the floor closer to the plane. Funny how the plane miraculously got better when people started to talk about compensation!

Punti positivi: The crew was polite and efficient. Moved very well around sleeping passengers sprawled feet. The shortcomings of the flight had to do with being in a tail section of an economy class in a packed transoceanic flight.
Punti negativi: At the beginning of the long flight the cabin was chilled, which made me happy I had my hooded sweatshirt with me, but at the end it was hot and stuffy. There was no air regulation available from the seat, only light.
