Mid row was empty per Covid, for flight comfort, this was somewhat a plus. Knowing air was filtered with HEPA filters every 2 minutes with fresh oxygen and outside air mix was also reassuring."

"Flight to Florence delayed. All passengers took a bus to Pisa (1.5 hours away) to fly Pisa to Paris. We missed our connection and flew next day. All information regarding the delay online was incorrect ("system not yet updated") . So calling Air France was useless as they could not assist. Not all flight delays can be avoided but many improvements are needed throughout this process."

This seems to be a new appliance, and I jut wish they would do away with it altogether. More is not necessarily better."

Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."

Plane was so cramped that one could not take a stretch walk down the aisles to alleviate muscle cramp being in same position for 10 hours. My ultimate destination was San Jose, CA, but that entailed a wait at O'Hare from 12:30p to 8p. Again, staff uninterested in traveler comfort in these parameters. American felt okay to delay my last leg from Chicago to San Jose an hour later than original scheduled, but offered no compensation for the addition to my discomfort. The switch from British Airways to American was a surprise. New flight numbers, change increased my travel stress. I am only 5'3" and not obese, yet could not really fit in my seat: kept getting bumped by passers by in aisle. Airline uninterested in passenger comfort."

The connecting flight was delayed in MCO for an 1 hour and a half, after we have boarded the plane, therefore almost cost us to be late for our final flight to Barcelona. Since we were not given our boarding passes for PHL to BCL it caused confusion when trying to board our plane in PHL to Barcelona, and also caused for our baggage to not arrive with the flight. After landing, we spent an additional 2 hours at the Airport going through customs, and waiting on line for the lost and found desk for baggage in Barcelona. The lost and found desk had three agents available to assist, however we can only talk to one which was designated specifically for American Airlines. This caused a very long wait time of 1 hour. We were advised the bags stayed in Phildelaphia since they did not have the additional luggage tags, and will not arrive till the next day. Overall the experience within the Airport service desks and baggage check in' s was not a pleasant experience. I believe many of these issues could have been avoided if the American Airlines agents were more knowledgeable and attentive."

AirCanada's corporate image was damaged by those two men."

So, your starting point is really high, but you really need to look at your service."

My connection in Toronto then was changed to a later flight, which was then delayed too by 50 minutes. all in all a 14 hour flight with connection ended up being close to 18 hours. My biggest two complaints about the flight itself is the food & the toilets. Your meals are the worst I've had in a major airline, and you should not serve customer frozen of close to frozen bread or sandwiches. If you are serving rolls, sandwiches or pitas, or bagels heat them up first. El-Al has been doing it for decades, go look at how they do it. But besides the bread/sandwiches issue, your meals are a really bad version of frozen supermarket meals. Just terrible all round. The other complaint is the bathroom. It was not cleaned frequently enough."

I was informed upon arriving at the desk at the gate that that meant Air Canada has also decided to participate in the ridiculous practice of overbooking their flights and that even though I purchased my ticket roughly 8 weeks prior, there was a chance I might miss my flight to my friend's WEDDING. The lady who was working the desk was as unhelpful and dismissive as you could possibly imagine, refusing to look at me and giving me attitude for merely waiting in the area to see if anyone had missed the flight so I could get on. It was surreal; the only way I could describe her incomprehensible behavior would be to say it was as if her boss were right in front of her and she was trying her damnedest to get fired. It was one of those situations where you could tell this miserable, miserable person was enjoying the power trip she was on and doing everything in her power to make me feel helpless and angry. I made my flight, miraculously, but it was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life, airport or not."

At one point, the dad lost his temper, swore at the child, and covered him with a blanket in a big screaming match before doing up his seat belt--I was afraid he had smothered him but it had the effect of calming him down. No attendant even tried to intervene apart from asking "can I see your kid's boarding pass?" People should have to disclose when they are travelling with a child with severe behavioural problems and attendants should rescue anyone forced to sit beside one or at least make the parent care for the child. Also, a minimum of crackers or pretzels would be nice with drink on 5-hour flight. The entertainment system wasn't operating correctly and kept having to be reset by crew or reset itself. And, after first class etc. board, why don't they board the people at the back of the plane first, not the ones at the front? It took forever because people in front zones hadn't settled into their seats before people from the back zones tried to board."

On arrival in Calgary flight personnel ask all patrons to remain seated to allow those of us who had a connecting flight to depart first. I certainly appreciated this kind suggestion and it allowed me more time to reach my next departure gate."

Punti negativi: "I am filing a complaint with regard to my recent flight on Dec 31, 2016 from Barcelona (BCN) back to San Francisco, US (SFO) on Air Canada, with a connection in Toronto, Canada (Flight # AC1915 and AC739). My wife and I were denied boarding at Barcelona because we did not have an ETA to visit Canada. However, we actually qualify for the Transit Without Visa Program, allowing us to transit through Canada to the US without an ETA. Please see below. My wife and I arrived at BCN airport in Barcelona before 11 am, more than 3 hours prior to the departure time of 2 pm for flight AC1915 to Toronto. Please see the attached bus ticket as proof, indicating we boarded the bus at 10:30 am at Barcelona city center. This is more than enough time for check-in processes. I knew about the ETA requirement prior to travel. However, I also knew that, as a Taiwanese national, we qualify for the Transit Without Visa program, allowing us to transit through Canada to the US without an ETA. The Canadian Government website states that: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas-all.asp#eta-exemptions “The following persons are exempt from the eTA requirement: • Foreign nationals seeking to transit through Canada under Transit Without Visa or China Transit Program.” Furthermore, also on the Canadian Government website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1092&top=16 “Travellers whose planes refuel in Canada going to and from the United States, as well as participants in the China Transit Program and Transit Without Visa Program, do not need to have an eTA or a visa to transit Canada.” We qualify for the Transit Without Visa Program because according to the Canadian Government website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/twov/travellers.asp • We are citizens of Taiwan • We hold valid Taiwanese passports (please see attached passport photo) • We hold valid US visas (please see attached green card photo) • We are traveling to Canada on an approved airline: Air Canada Rouge • We transit through an approved Canadian airport (Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, terminal 1, without a change of terminal between flights) • We hold a confirmed onward ticket to the US the same day (AC739 to San Francisco, departing at 6:55 pm the same day) • We arrive during operating hours for the US in-transit pre-clearance facility. During check-in, we were told that we needed an ETA and denied us boarding. I tried explaining to the supervisor on duty that day that an ETA is actually not required for us since we qualify for Transit Without Visa, using the arguments I presented above in this letter, as well as showing him the websites from the Canadian Government. However, the supervisor insisted that we needed an ETA, citing the general policy that Taiwanese citizens require ETA to visit Canada. What he did not realize was that we satisfy a very unique case that did NOT require an ETA."

There was no rep at the check-in counter until 3 hours before the flight which meant we had to sit in the terminal for two hours. If they could have had one rep on duty to check in early arrivals, we could have proceeded through security and spent time in the MCO Lounge which would have been more comfortable than the terminal. Once their check-in counter opened it took about 2 hours to clear that and security. Once on board the sold out flight, we were told it was too cold in the front of the plane; while in the back it was baking. For a flight departing Florida, I would expect the airline to have A/C running before we boarded."
