"Not much to expect from Alitalia these days. They should not be part of the Skyteam. They are way below the standard. Service is very poor and you do not feel welcome on board. Space is smaller, only water, no garbage college in between or before landing, dirty bathrooms and entertainment is so so."

"The flight was on time. Delta was very communicative as far as checking in, luggage, boarding ect. I was traveling with an infant, it would’ve been nice if they helped us out with an aisle seat."

The fathers mask was down the entire flight. Even when the flight attendants picked up the trash. They were informed after the flight they did not comply with CDC, Department of health, and state policies. Their response was “ I made announcements overhead. Didn’t you hear?”. Appalling endangering customers and disregarding Federal, State, and local policies."

Not only that, everytime she did the courtesy reach over to grab empty cups from the middle seat, she hit me with her trash bag. Woulda been fine had I been awake, but I was trying to sleep in between the bouts of screaming from the devil possessed kids."

American airlines lied over the phone and was even more rude in person. JOKE"

My personal entertainment system did not work properly so I could not use it."

Punti negativi: "The flight I booked was misrepresented. I thought I was booking a BA flight only to find it was American Airlines. This changed the terminal I was to go to and the gate in which our Italian non-english speaking driver was to meet us at. This impacted seating selection, as well. Was forced to buy a premium seat when I realized the seating chart did not appear when I purchased the tickets. Also, flight was three hours late upon arrival. I understand safety is paramount and am grateful we eventually were able to find another plane, but it begs to speculate if things would have been smoother on a BA plane."

The worst part about this flight was that I traveled with my girlfriend and when I went to check in, 24 hours before, there were only single seats left and there were so many open seats together that were considered “preferred” and had to pay $80 for just one “preferred” seat just so we can sit together on an 8 hour long flight. The seat didn’t even have any extra legroom or anything, it was a normal seat. American Airlines is just trying to squeeze money out of anything they can."

I fear for his training experience with this group of women. One of the lavatories was out of order {....on an international flight! Are you kidding!?!}. I think that they searched for the most antiquated plane that could limp across the ocean for this flight. Nine hours of pure discomfort. My poor 71 year old mother! Zero leg room. Tiny little screen for movies on the ceiling of the middle row. trays were not clean. We paid extra for our seats and wondered how bad the seats were for those that didn't. My mother and I determined that this was ranked as one of the worst flight experiences we have ever had. We are grateful for an amazing experience for our return flight or we would have reconsidered ever flying AA again."

I couldn't put both feet under the seat in front of me. The food was bad tasting and overly processed. We were fed a lean cuisine. The entertainment was from mounted tv's in the aisle. At this point, all planes crossing the ocean should have individual tvs for a customer to watch. They had this 15 years ago, how do they not have it now."

Punti negativi: "Everything else! We were first sold a British airlines flight, and then we got switched to American Airlines. I don't know if that is actually an okay thing for them to do. When we got onto to plane we were stuck on the runway for over 2 1/2 hours, where the outside temperature was 95 degrees and the AC in the plane didn't work. The delay was all due to a mechanical difficulty with the engine, this did not give us peace of mind when flying over the atlantic. while up in the air my newly wedded wife and I were hoping maybe we could watch a movie to help keep our minds off the creaking of the wings, the pool of sweat from the delay, and the grumpy flight attendants. Seeing as it was a 9 hour international flight, you would have expected some sort of entertainment. Maybe a personal TV.... nope. Maybe a community TV... nope. At least they have to have a radio....... nope. All we got were our two thumbs to twiddle. After a much needed nap. We woke up hoping maybe for a hot breakfast, but to put the cherry on top of some terrible ice cream, we got a mediocre cold breakfast. All in all I will not fly American Airlines again. I would happily and quickly pay double for any other airlines but them. It's such a poor reprisentation of our country."

Punti negativi: "I booked with British Airways and later noticed the plane was operated for American Airlines. The seats were cramped and the online entertainment was terrible. On an overseas flight, I expect in 2017 that there will be on-screen entertainment on the back of the seat in front of me. Instead, the movie was projected on a screen in the middle seats on an overhead that was about 10 rows away. Plus, you didn't get to pick your movie. You were stuck with the selections provided by the airline. I would have brought along my DVD player or laptop had I know this was going to happen. American flight crews are not as friendly and accommodating as European flight crews, which is why I try not to select an American carrier. Seats are less comfortable on American carriers also."

After speaking to one of the gate attendant ( Arturo ), he went out of his way to accommodate us, and we ended up with great seats. Friendly and accommodating crew! ."

I can understand for extra legroom or exit row, but for a regular seat, that is ridiculous. Then there was a fee to change priority boarding, so I could ensure I was able to have my carry-on with me, instead of risk having it go underneath."

Punti negativi: "6 1/2 hour delay due to navigation system crash. Two gate changes and a terminal change. New seats assigned, but then when 3rd plane was brought in, it had the exact configuration of the first and we were told we should use the original boarding passes. These turned out to be wrong because they reseated after the first plane went down and it’s replacement wasn’t the same configuration. We never saw that plane, or the gate it was assigned to. When we went to rebound, my wife I am were separated. We were moved to the way back (screaming baby sandwich - one in front and one behind us). Then we spent an hour in the worst turbulence I’ve seen in 20 years - I nearly vomited. the last 6 hours of this 15 hour ordeal were fine."

The food and entertainment packages were quality, appropriate and functioning. The crew put us on a strict schedule allowing us time to sleep and refresh. Toiletries clean and no lines. Just an overall lovely flight!"

Tutti quelli che avevano coincidenze strette sull'aereo per ogni parte del mondo erano allibiti da questa mancanza di informazioni, Una volta arrivati a Toronto il personale di terra non sapeva nulla e siamo dovuti correre fino al gate seguendo le indicazioni dei monitor che davano lo stato del volo come "Boarding". Arrivati trafelati al gate abbiamo scoperto che il volo era partito mezz'ora prima e si erano dimenticati di aggiornare lo stato del volo sui monitor......................... Dopo un'ora di attesa al banco dell'assistenza ci hanno mandati in hotel e dato il biglietto per il volo del giorno successivo. Parte dei pasti li abbiamo pagati di tasca nostra visti i pochi dollari di buono per mangiare (7$ per la colazione, 10$ per pranzo e 15$ per la cena, spendibili esclusivamente all'Holiday Inn dove la sola colazione a buffet costava 17$ + tasse..."

Punti negativi: "Inaccettabile che le hostess siano scortesi e rispondano in modo brusco a domande (tipo dove si trovano le toilette) fatte con gentilezza! Viaggio tantissimo, ma non mi era mai capitato, neanche nelle low cost, che passando con il carrello delle bevande, la hostess sbraitasse "Something?" ai passeggeri, quasi correndo, e che sembrasse addirittura scocciata se viene fermata per dell'acqua!! Pessima impressione, che ha reso ancora più sgradevole un red-eye flight che già di per sè non è un'esperienza piacevole."

Punti negativi: "Seat was inoperable and frozen in upright position in business class cabin. Last to order entree had only 2 of 7 choices remaining and fish was extremely unappetizing presentation."

Punti negativi: "While on the plane at the gate, had to wait 20 mins for someone to hang my jacket (had to ask and the person came back 5 mins later) despite the fact that the attendant immediately checked on the guy next to me when he sat down, who apparently had status with United (attendant ignored me). I guess a $7,000 fare doesn't warrant special attention. I had to ask the same attendant for other items at times, but he'd forget and I'd have to ask someone else. Also, the seats were decent yet a bit crowded IMHO. I'm 5'10" and my feet were crammed up against the front of the space when fully reclined. The width of the seat area was a bit tight as well. Finally, they have 2 heads (toilets) that serve both the business class section ( maybe 50 people) as well as the front of economy. One of the pilots was waiting at the same time as me and agreed that it was a pretty questionable layout for the number of seats covered. All in all, not my favorite airline and nothing on this trip so far changed that view."

Punti negativi: "The overhead bins were so full that I needed to put my backpack under the seat. That meant that the already-cramped seat was even more cramped. In addition the seat did not recline because it was next to an exit row. It was a red eye and I could not get comfortable enough to sleep. Also, the fact that the screen brightness control was located on top of the seat arm meant that my neighbor's arm kept turning my screen on and increasing the brightness while my neighbor was asleep."
