I found out that the ticket fare did not contain checked luggage ( so I had to pay a hefty fee for it ) and also my 20" wheeled case that was ok in all the other flights I took it with me, this time was oversized and overweight . My wife took out the 2 laptops so it became within weight limits but still oversized - My wife paid for the fee ( I wasn't there at the time and she is not a such experienced flyier as I am ) . When I found out about the fee, I checked their rules and I found out that the hand luggage is allowed to be 22" . I saw in the airplane a lot of people with cases having the same size as mine, that went as checked luggage at a cost fo around 40 . I want to see how can I get my money back . . ."

When we finally got to the front of the line the woman said we had to pay for our checked baggage elsewhere and then come back for the boarding passes. Unheard of elsewhere. The people in the office where you pay for checked baggage took their time and chatted and had no sense of urgency. The first woman we spoke to apparently filled out the form incorrectly. We had to rush to get to the plane and we barely made it through long security lines. We almost missed the plane due to the lack of early information and check in, the cumbersome payment process, etc. It was the worst check in process ever."

I was told the flight had departed even though it was still 25 minutes before flight time. I then had to go to ticket sales where they charged me $425 dollars for the 80 minute flight to Bucharest. In the US, I would have been put on the next available flight fee of charge. I will never fly Turkish Airlines again."

You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."

I didn't have the code as I was searching emails for the booking agent and airline when it was (as I later discovered) sent by another name. This resulted in £30 to check in going out and 40 euros back. Desk staff were unhelpful bordering on rude (the cabin staff were fine in that respect. I wasn't the only one at least 20 people queuing on the return with the same issue. Additionally on the delay out they advised food could be brought at the rear of the plane then inflight ran out so some people ate twice while by the time I got to my hotel they had stopped serving food and I had not eaten in the airport sorting out the boarding passes."

Punti negativi: "I got to the airport with plenty of time to make my 1:30pm flight. However the flight ended up being initially delayed for roughly 90 minutes according to the airport, while many passengers received notifications that it was closer to 2 and a half hours. When asked, the Ryanair deask said that they did not know anything and basically told us it was not their problem. We did not take off until after 5pm. However, it did not end there. Having never been told what the problem was, we finally boarded the plane and found that it was filthy. There were bread crumbs all over my seat and a candy bar wrapper underneath. I would have thought that with an extra 4 hours the plane could have at least been cleaned. Other than that, it was typical Ryanair, the seats do not recline, the staff is indifferent, and boarding was done via a bus to the tarmac."
