Punti positivi: "Il personale estremamente attento e gentile. Non è facile lavorare con le maschere e occhiali per tutta la durata del volo. Trovo che hanno fatto di tutto per rendere il nostro viaggio sicuro dal puto di vista della battaglia contro il virus."

Not sure, how Emirates is getting away with this discriminatory attitude, while rest of airlines do allow -Carry on + a personal item. 2. There is no check on the carry-on weight at SFO airport. While in DXB, they entice customer to buy all duty free and then when it comes to boarding, you will be 'shocked'. No more than 10kg allowed. 3. You will be directed to read instructions before boarding. Then the corruption deal starts...read point 4 4. The man will say, remove anything in excess of 10kg or pay extra luggage, knowing very well, that people buy duty free at DXB. 5. Once you start negotiating, then the deal-making starts... 6. Punti negativi: "First, they announced that they need some passengers to voluntarily give up the booking in exchange for 280 refunds (a slightly higher rate which not worth to do it) and 1 stopover the fight to Rome which will arrive at 22.00 instead (our flight is 17.35). About 15 minutes before boarding time, they announced flight delaying. Around 17.45, they announced gate changing from B to A which located at opposite side of the the airport so all passengers run there because of everyone afraid that their booking might be canceled because no one agrees to give up. At both gates, many people try to jump in the queue which no staff comes in the manage the queue. During waiting on the board, the air condition seems to be closed, hard to breathe. Around 19.00, the plane took off the Zurich airport eventually, finish the 1.5 hours delay. The captain announced that it cause by the technical problem of the flight earlier but my thinking it cause from over-booking."

The support staff when I called again put back the seats for my return flight. I tried to check in online. Not working. Tried at least 50 times. Not working. Called the support staff. They told me to call the check in support center. I called the check in support center at least 50 times where mi was told the staff are busy and could not answer the call. I called at 6:00am next day where I was told by the check in support staff that my ticket had an issue which they did not know exactly what was the issue but prevented me to do a check in. I drove more than 2 hours to the airport where finally I could check in but I was told that my return flight seats had disappeared again. They managed to put them back again. I hope this time it’s finally ok. The support staff on the phone told me I could get reimbursed for the seat reservation I had paid for for the on going flight. The Swiss staff at the airport told me there would be no refund. Swiss is terrible"

We “self-boarded” which was new to us - and wasn’t explained. Punti positivi: "We were worried based on negative reviews on SWISS we had read prior to our trip, but they were WONDERFUL!! We flew coach from MIA to CRETE, two stops and 13+ hours of flying. The seats were as roomy as coach gets, but comfortable, reclining further than Delta or AA in my opinion. The food, drinks and snacks never stopped and were tasty!! Including a delicious Swiss chocolate a the end of your flight! They were so attentive! The attendants were all kind and polite. In fact, we had someone sit in front of us on our flight home who culturally didn't bath/wear deodorant and VERY malodorous and we asked the flight attendant if we could move. As soon as everyone boarded and she found two open seats for us, she moved us right before take off and we had a wonderful, great-smelling 10.5 hour flight!! LOL"

When the hostess came, she spoke to the white lady sitting next to him, the person told her it is not be that ranged it is him. He wants water, she walked away did not speak to him and never gave him the water. The only food they served was pasta. If you don’t eat that no other options. They will pump you off a flight that you purchased because they are over booked and expect you to be ok with it. No customer service at all."

The pilot did a great introduction and gave information about the trip. Also the plane toilets were clean compared to other companies. Punti negativi: "1. The comfort in economy class was insulting and horrible. I am 6'3", 175lbs and was trapped in one uncompromisingly uncomfortable position for 8+ hours. Torture is a word that comes to mind. If I were a smaller sized person, 5'8" or less, perhaps this may be acceptable, but for anyone over 6'. forget it. You must pay loads extra to be given a respectable seat. I am hopeful that I don't develop a blood clot from this flight. This lack of room is a seriously dangerous situation for many people on long-distance flights. 2. The seat recline feature added further insult to the mix. Once airborne, the lady in the seat in front of me sent her seat into what was left of any personal space or legroom I had. The video screen on the setback in front of me was literally 6" from my face now. Several people who were also of taller size complained, one was so adamant about retaining his space that he fought verbally with the lady in front of him, and eventually a stewardess had to be called. My wife complained on my behalf, and was able to get the lady in front of me to reposition her seat, but eventually, I noticed it somehow found its way back to recline again. I know Lufthansa is not alone with this predicament, but something HAS TO BE DONE to fix this huge problem with air travel. 3. The food on the flight to Germany was way better than the return trip. The meal consisted of mushy carrots, greasy mashed potato-like side, and a piece of OK chicken smothered in 'Murican BBQ sauce. I was insulted. Lufthansa had been better than this in the past. Oh, and the dinner roll was so dry and crumbly, it could have been weeks old. The snack before landing was called pizza, but I wouldn't call it that It was a bunch of tasteless dough, a little bit of tomato like sauce and a smattering of cheese. I wish Lufthansa would stick to what they do best; German-influenced food. Be true to who you are. Most people I know love German food, and I always have looked forward to LH food selections. Not now."

Now I mainly try to get onto Lufthansa flights (or Turkish Airlines which is my favorite). Even on Aegean, I got better food, and the magazine was better, plus there were some monitors to track the flight. Austrian feels cheaper than the others. That is the main point I didn't like."

Ci dicono che ci daranno informazioni al gate. Può capitare, naturalmente. Solo che: - le informazioni non le danno al gate, ma allo Starbucks dell'aeroporto, senza avere aspettato e neanche avvertito tutti i passeggeri - ci dicono che nonostante i mercatini natalizi ci hanno trovato comunque un hotel, facendolo un po' pesare, mentre è loro dovere, siccome il volo è ritardato al giorno dopo. Peccato che l'hotel è a 120 km e loro non hanno trovato il bus per il trasferimento (incidentalmente, anche questo è da norma di legge un loro dovere...) - alla fine come assistenza in termini di generi di conforto commisurata alla durata del ritardo, 10 ore, il tutto si è ridotto ad una bottiglietta d'acqua e un kit toilette per il mattino. In ragione della distanza degli hotel disponibili siamo stati invitati pressantemente a passare la notte nel terminal, ma: - nessuna assistenza. Dopo i controlli di sicurezza neanche una bottiglietta d'acqua, neanche un voucher colazione, neanche qualche coperta o cuscino per dormire meglio sulle scomodissime sedie/divano. E neanche uno scusate. - nessuna reazione alla possibilità di apertura della business giunge: è chiusa e non la riapriamo per voi. Neanche per farvi dormire un po' meno peggio. - nessuna specifica informazione ai passeggeri sulla evoluzione della situazione - siamo stati abbandonati a noi stessi, in sostanza Violazioni multiple e ripetute del regolamento CE 261/2004. Ma pagheranno, eh, se pagheranno..."
