Crew went out of its way to help people board and load bags overhead. They seemed very attentive, and tried to provide extra drink options even."
Punti negativi: "Boarding process at IST was a challenge. We left from a remote gate, and the agent didn't seem interested in the boarding process. I heard no announcements, maybe because it didn't matter as everyone was crowding the door 15 minutes before boarding began. The agent seemed perturbed, but I've seen it on almost every Italian bound flight. No one wants to wait. It is actually a bit amusing to watch the struggle between boarding policies and a group of people who seem determined to ignore them. The buses were also pretty well packed. More so in Rome than IST. Not much organization in loading at either place. After all the passport control they left us to walk outside to wait for the bus. Maybe you can tell I'm not a fan of remote gates."

Punti positivi: "My JFK to IST flight on Oct 21st, the plane was nice and new. The seats were comfortable and the entertainment was up to date. The food on this particular flight was good."
Punti negativi: "According to the Turkish Airlines site they offer free accommodations to passengers who have over 10 hr layover in Istanbul if you are an economy passenger. I was under this impression that I would fall under this category because when I initially booked the ticket (JFK - IST - LIS and return LIS - IST - JFK) my layover back to JFK was 18 hours. Two weeks prior to leaving for my trip I received a notification saying that the layover will be extended to 34 hours. Seeing that my layover was extended, I thought that Turkish Airline would offer me accommodation for both nights. When I arrived to IST (10:30pm local time) I went to the Turkish Airline transfer desk in which they said they would not allow me to have the 2 nights accommodation. After about an hour and half of discussion they could only offer me one night accommodation and changed my flight to an earlier flight. The attendant who was serving me told me to wait by the kiosk until my name was called. At the 30 minute mark I tried to ask another kiosk attendant to see what the status was and he replied back in a very rude manner saying he has no idea what I'm referring to and that essentially was not his problem. After another hour and half of waiting and seeing other frustrated passengers going to the transfer desk and not being helped, I went on the queue to see what the status of my ticket was. They finally gave me my ticket and at this point it was close to 1am. Thankfully I did research before hand and under the assumption that I was going to spend a day in Istanbul, spent $20 and got a Turkish visa prior to my travel, which according the the turkish consulate website that you can no longer get a visa while in the airport. I finally reached the airport hotel at 2:30am but the airport shuttle was to arrive in 4 hours to shuttle all the passengers back. So not only did I deal with a rude staff, but I paid $20 to be in Turkey for about 4 hours in an airport hotel."

We asked for the TV monitor to be fixed on three different occasions and nothing was done about it so we had to share our monitor for the remainder of the 10 hour flight. Secondly, we were the last to be served even we though we were seated in the middle of the plane. When they finally got to us they didn't have anymore of the selection that we wanted so we had to settle for what was left. When we finally got our food it was ice cold! We had to ask for another plate. By this point we were starving and very upset. Overall, our experience wasn't the most ideal."

Punti positivi: "We had a connecting flight in Instanbul, Turkey, and a representative met us at our arrival gate from Rome and walked us through security and to our connecting flight to LAX. I thought that was great because we would've been completely lost if we had to do it on our own. Security check in was thorough. We had to go through security screening AGAIN (already did it in Rome and had to throw away our waters purchased in the airport), and two different lines for passport check. My husband had to go through a third security line because he had a carry-on. Boarding was well organized with passengers lining up by their boarding letter - no crowding - and people sitting at the back of the plane boarded first (after 1st class). The flight itself was great. The food was delicious. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. They gave us a water bottle, lots of current and blockbuster movies to choose from. They provided pillows, blankets, and earphones at no extra charge. Would definitely fly again."

This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

As such wr couldnt go to our final destination in Morocco and had to get our luggage off the plane. The staff at the AF counter were very helpful in that aspect. And when one of the luggages was completely damaged, it was replaced it with a brand new one which was fantastic. On the way back, we had some issues with the ticket because we didnt go to Morocco as planned which resulted in some trouble checking in. But the staff at the counter were quite helpful."

Entertainment system in the seat back doesn’t work, shuts off in the middle of films, and is for some reason controlled by the wrong arm rest. I was in the aisle seat, my arm rest control panel did not control anything, but every time my neighbor shifted her arm it changed the volume on my system. Ethiopian airlines is what failure looks like."

They instructed me to come back the following date to fly. I was not compensated nor offered at the very least an apology. By the time I got to my hotel after being given the run around for 2 hours, all of the stores were closed for me to purchase toiletries and the room had no towels. The meal the hotel offered was not edible and I had to purchase food on my own. I was originally suppose to land in NYC Saturday at 6:30pm, but if all goes as planned I will arrive in NYC Monday morning at 1:30am. The staff with this airline was not helpful, very rude, and one of the staff told me it was my problem that I could not get to the hotel they assigned to me."

During all 4 legs of our trip (N.Y. to Casablanca; Marakech to Fez; Casablanca to Lisbon; and Lisbon to N.Y.) customer service was extremely slow and poor, many of the staff members seemed to not like their job because of how unpleasant they were. The breakfast is three different types of carbs and no nutritional value. I will never fly the so-called 'Royal' air Maroc again. Very unprofessional staff."

The company do not do efforts to annouce that they pay the accommodation for flight transfer, in CMN, with more than few hours"

The bathrooms got a little messy and little was done about it."
