Punti negativi: "I liked everything except the airplane itself, which I hated. I was fortunate enough to get an exit row on my long flight going over; I did not get lucky on my way home. The flights between Zurich and Brindisi were more comfortable than the long haul flights. The long haul flights are abominable and should be outlawed by governments as they are currently configured. The boy next to me literally could not fit his legs/thigh bones in the space provided by his seat. I did okay as I am not tall, until the woman in front of me decided to lean back. It is not her fault, however, though I thought nasty things about her and periodically tried to dig my knees into her back to get her to lift up her seat. The fault belongs entirely to Swiss Air, which chooses to treat human customers as steerage. The only thing that made the experience worse was the impossibility of choosing my seat online for my return because I had only a smart phone with not-great wifi available. Choosing one's seat should not be dependent on having good wifi and a computer, however. It is bad practice to "sell" seat choices. The families around me were not able to sit together because of this shoddy, greedy practice on the part of the airline. It is also not fair, subsequently, that other passengers are faced with giving up the seats they've chosen, or been given, to assist families in sitting together. Honestly, the extent of the greed on the part of airlines nowadays is astonishing. What used to be a thoroughly enjoyable way of traveling has become an ordeal at best."

Also, the person in front of me kept reclining her seat and it went back too far. I didn't want to do the same to the person behind me so it was quite uncomfortable."

The problem was never fixed and we haven’t flown home yet. We have new flights booked on Delta but only because Delta took pity....West Jet does no refunds or reticketing. If flights are missed you're out on of luck!"

The food is excellent. Only missing part is to have some candies or chocolates for the 13 hour trip for San Francisco to Istanbul. You can not beat their price. Crew is very friendly and helpful at the same time. Slippers and socks they give you in economy class + cotton blanket of course make you feel you are 1st class traveler. What else? You name it and it is there. Will fly again with Turkish airlines."

She came out several times from inside of the building shouting at the three of us to get on the shuttle even when the person managing the shuttle flow at the bottom of the stairs was about to let us wait for the next shuttle. What was her problem(?) - she could use a lot more people skills and realize who pays her salary - the customers. She really tarnished the whole image and impression I originally had of TA. Also, there was no way to go to the bathroom without going through a long line of security again at the last gate before the shuttle which did not make sense."

Ecco, Austrian semplicemente non lo sa. Il volo, già in ritardo di mezz'ora - strano - all'altezza di Graz deve rientrare a Vienna per guasto, dicono, all'aria condizionata. Ci dicono che ci daranno informazioni al gate. Può capitare, naturalmente. Solo che: - le informazioni non le danno al gate, ma allo Starbucks dell'aeroporto, senza avere aspettato e neanche avvertito tutti i passeggeri - ci dicono che nonostante i mercatini natalizi ci hanno trovato comunque un hotel, facendolo un po' pesare, mentre è loro dovere, siccome il volo è ritardato al giorno dopo. Peccato che l'hotel è a 120 km e loro non hanno trovato il bus per il trasferimento (incidentalmente, anche questo è da norma di legge un loro dovere...) - alla fine come assistenza in termini di generi di conforto commisurata alla durata del ritardo, 10 ore, il tutto si è ridotto ad una bottiglietta d'acqua e un kit toilette per il mattino. In ragione della distanza degli hotel disponibili siamo stati invitati pressantemente a passare la notte nel terminal, ma: - nessuna assistenza. Dopo i controlli di sicurezza neanche una bottiglietta d'acqua, neanche un voucher colazione, neanche qualche coperta o cuscino per dormire meglio sulle scomodissime sedie/divano. E neanche uno scusate. - nessuna reazione alla possibilità di apertura della business giunge: è chiusa e non la riapriamo per voi. Neanche per farvi dormire un po' meno peggio. - nessuna specifica informazione ai passeggeri sulla evoluzione della situazione - siamo stati abbandonati a noi stessi, in sostanza Violazioni multiple e ripetute del regolamento CE 261/2004. Ma pagheranno, eh, se pagheranno..."

No staff notified us until we were about to get on the plane to board. The flight supervisor was very rude and unprofessional, offering us no alternative solutions. I was really disappointed with such a grievous mistake by the airline, and I would not recommend flying Austrian Airlines unless it was absolutely the only airline available. They need to fix their processes for authorizing when they volunteer a passenger's seat. This caused our group a lot of stress and almost became a logistical nightmare."

My plan worked going to Vienna and to Cairo (although one of the planes were delayed 3 hours which ruined our stay in Vienna) but on the way back from Cairo to LA, I couldn't be with the group because I left 2 hours early and arrived in LA 2 hours late. I pleaded that I came with a group but they said I have a different booking so they couldn't honor keeping me on the same plane as the group. I am very disappointed and will avoid my future travel with Austrian airline"
