There was no way to get around to access the bathroom and the crew turned us away from the only available bathroom in the front. Really?! Not impressed at all. Also the flt was 30 minutes late making our connection tight. One of the young, gorgeous stewardesses was rude and dismissive of me when I asked about it."

The crew was courteous but the hostesses could try smiling a bit more. Their courtesy was appreciated but it felt very methodical, more of an obligation and not spontaneous. The pilot did a great introduction and gave information about the trip. Also the plane toilets were clean compared to other companies. I expected to see a wider selection of more recent and award winning movies. Will definitely fly Turkish Airlines again."

And none of that captures the insanity of being sent to a transfer desk with no way out except buying a Turkish visa and going through immigration. Inexcusable. I have traveled to over 40 countries in the past 30+ years and this was beyond the pale, absolutely a nightmare, and almost all of it (excepting the actual snow delay) in the airline's control. NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINE THROUGH ISTANBUL."

Punti negativi: "My one complaint is the bathroom layout of the A320. Two tiny closet bathrooms in the back for all of coach and a much larger one much larger one first class (which is like 5 rows with a mesh curtain for separation). The coach bathrooms are so small a normal person can barely get in and turn around to close the door. I question whether a larger person would be able to actually use them. I also saw the flight attendant actively turn away coach passengers trying to use the first class bathroom when it was open (not standing in the aisle or anything annoying like that). That's ridiculous to have 2 tiny bathrooms for all of coach and also to make people walk all the way to the back of the plane when you are seated much closer to the first class bathroom."

Is that how you treat a 86 years old traveler?"

My wife has some physical challenges and received special treatment, in fact we were accorded priority in boarding as she had to temporarily use a wheel chair. Punti positivi: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."

ICN is quite large in scale so I couldn't use duty free shop due to so many passengers and the spacious hallways even though I had 2hours . perhaps you gotta presume it as 3hours for enough time . so I had to throw out my lotion or moisturizer at ICN .pfff I wasted my money :p"

We will never use again another company from the one world alliance."

On this occasion, my friend sitting next to me, who is 5'10" had his knees right up against the seat in front. When the passengers in front reclined it was almost impossible to get comfortable. There is no seat-back entertainment. For some this may not be a big deal, what with iPads and other devices, but it speaks to AA's failure to consider it's customers comfort and ease on long-haul flights."
