So missed connections in Abu Dhabi, although Ethihad could have held a later connection to BKK for just about 20 minutes for us to board. The huge hassle getting lodging from the airline to take an onward flight the next day. Your staff would not accommodate us at the airport hotel so we could avoid the need to obtain a visa, which takes a minimum of 3 hours wait. We finally gave up on the visa and decided to just stay up overnight at the airport. That caused one kind Ethihad staff to finally make issues us an authorization for the hotel at the airport. We would never fly your airline again."

Low budget and lax attitude. Consistently late flights On a positive note, direct nonstop flights to major destinations at good rates. You get what you pay for though."

As the home airport of the national carrier I wouldn't expect tarmac boarding."

The booked flight which was forcibly cancelled got me home 9pm the night before work. Oman Air refused a suggestion to upgrade me to business class so I could try and sleep."

They instead sent me a copy of the small print saying that they were allowed to change anyone's flights and give zero compensation if the 'client' is informed two weeks in advance. I will avoid Oman Air from now on, even if they seem to offer the best times to fly."

Punti negativi: "In Oman airs home airport there was no service desk. When the flight was delayed the sent 1 agent do deal with a full glitch’s worth of guests. Even though the delay was over 6 hours they gave no compensation besides lounge access to a lounge that is not fully functional. The next morning (yes the delay was overnight and they didn’t provide a hotel room) they called us all to the gate only to tell us they still were waiting for the plane to be repaired (the night before they’d Told us the flight would be in time as they’d flown another plane in). Again there was only one Oman air agent and just normal airport staff to handle the full flight. People were yelling and there was a lot of anger but no official announcements were ever made and only rumors passed from those who actually had a chance to talk to the on me guy. Finally when i arrived in Bangkok it seemed like they had there act together as there were many agents on the gangway to assist people to find connecting flights. Being so late there was only on flight for me and several others trying to get to Phuket. An agent took us to immigration and told us all he’d meet us in the other side to take us to the check in. HE DIDN’T SHOW UP. We couldn’t go back in the airport to find him or anyone from Oman air and were left to find an airport employee who graciously helped us find the booking office and just make the flight. I fly internationally regularly and this was by far the worst airline experience I’ve ever had or even heard about."

Plane was outdated and in both my trips I had problems with the inflight entertainment. OnAir internet is crazy expensive and at low MB. Honestly I would never fly Oman Air again. Learn from Emirates"

Punti negativi: "1. Waiting in a closed doors transfer bus w/o AC 15+ min just in front of the plane because it wasn't ready for the passengers. (Unaceptable) 2. Flight attendant unable to pick an organized trashbag politely given to her(unaceptable) ; next time all trash will be left in the seat like all passengers do."

Punti negativi: "This is an international flight which didnt have an in seat entertainment. They didnt announce anything and this is the only airline where they serve the food without even checking if you want or not. It was a mid night flight and i was fast asleep after take off. They woke me up and just threw the food on the table and walked off. Another first of its kind is they serve solid food first and followed by drinks so even if you are thirsty, you have to wait. All juice will be served later. and the most uncomfortable old seats. Probably they use different flights for different sectors and to India, they consider every passenger as just "cattle" class and use the worst flight they have. But no other option. There are few direct flights and this is the only choice. So have to fly with them again unfortunately."

Punti positivi: "Only a 45 minute flight, but we were able to start watching their large collection of movies as soon as we boarded. Far better than comparably priced low cost carrier, don't hesitate to fly them."
Punti negativi: "Since it was a very quick flight there was no service, not even a quick beverage service that you would find on similar length flights elsewhere. Still a great bargain and good experience."

Punti positivi: "Only the lounge experience during the layover is worth mentioning which was quite comfortable in my opinion"
Punti negativi: "Seats on the Muscat - Riyadh sector were quite ordinary and there were no TV screens in front of passenger!"
