In an era when downtime is utilized to stay ahead of work, strong wifi is one of the most crucial requirements for me to elect an airline. Even if all else is good, poor wifi is a deal killer."

Not a fault of Qatar airways, but probably the norm in most international flights in Economy. Food was the best of all the airlines I have flown, and the correct temperature as well."

"When I have checked in in Chicago, they gave me both boarding pass from Chicago to Istanbul and from Istanbul to Kuwait.When I arrived to Istanbul , I have waited in business lounge until next boarding to Kuwait.One hour before taking off , Turkish crew told you can’t get in the airplane because I haven’t CPR test .I told them that no one from your side told me to get this test. Thus, they have cancelled my trip , I was obliged to buy new expensive ticket after doing CPR test in the airport."

I ran to the gate and was the last person through before it closed. I asked about my two bags and was told they were accounted for. Hardly believing it but glad to at least have made it I boarded. When I arrived in Zurich, sure enough my bags arrived too! Was very pleasantly surprised!"

The security area is not properly designed for accomodating many people at one time and the officials (actually two cleaning personnel) who did not speak anything but Turkish were manning the entrance. Even when I showed them my boarding pass they just rudely shooed me away!"

The other thing, having an extremely painful back, there was nowhere for me to sit during the time of going through security etc. All caused stress and enormous pain."

Punti positivi: "This was one of those flights where everything was easy. Boarding was on time, relaxed. In fact, everyone was relaxed. We were ready to fly early, passengers spread out in the empty plane with lots of pillows and blankets, food was given immediately to accommodate passengers who were fasting for Ramadan. The screens worked well, lots of game and movie options. Only problem... No gin and tonic! In fact, no alcohol at all on this route."

Also, and most importantly, they've left my luggage in Istanbul (where the connection was from), so that I was left with no proper clothes/essentials for four (!) days (and it was colder than expected in Italy)."

Punti negativi: "Checking in was bad. We had difficulty with the agent, who said that we needed to wrap our plastic tubs. We have flown other airlines using these same tubs for 15 years. After our minor altercation, the food on the two legs from Dammam and then on to Atlanta was very bad. I am not very picky with food and like just about anything. However, I was unable to eat the food served in 2 out of 3 meals. My time on Frankfurt was also not very pleasant. I will most likely try to avoid Lufthansa in the future."

Moreover, the seat commands are operated by "light touch" placed just below the wrist and hand, so the seat keeps moving all the time."

The day of the flight our connection flight was delayed we were told someone would escort several of the passengers from Lufthansa to the connection with United no one was there. Several of us ran to where the flight gate was but the plane already left. It turns out other people were also called and turned down United’s offer. So the question is since our flight was purposely overbooked did United take advantage of our situation and just leave and cause all of us great pain and duress with no compensation for all of our inconvenience."

"Flight to Florence delayed. All passengers took a bus to Pisa (1.5 hours away) to fly Pisa to Paris. We missed our connection and flew next day. All information regarding the delay online was incorrect ("system not yet updated") . So calling Air France was useless as they could not assist. Not all flight delays can be avoided but many improvements are needed throughout this process."
