Initially charged $1000 for 3 tickets for modification of return trip - confirmed the same and tickets issued (i'm fine with this). How can such a reputed airline have no tools to calculate the pay? Other airlines offered one-way for half of the price i paid. On top of it, online helpdek promised front line seat to satisfy me but nothing was offered even if i ask explicitly. Simply declined saying i am not in priority list. Why do they make false promises? Friends, Just don't fly for food ....."

"The company did not know how to handle COVID bureaucracy efficiently or even correctly. We were asked to fill in four forms when only one is needed or even checked at all. I had to come in early to the airport, take a COVID test and then wait in the airport departure lobby for almost 1h to check in while waiting for the test results. Given that I spent a substantial amount to get a business ticket, I expected my time to be respected and to have business facilities made available. Once reached, the lounge now has an ordering system instead of self-service. The food was honestly disgusting, cold boiled rice without any salt and some "Spanish chorizo chicken" that had no chorizo and tasted like boiled chicken dropped in reheated tomato sauce. The plane departed one hour late. The business class seat was small, but comfortable. The company sent a boiler plate email apologizing which is something you appreciate the first time and it becomes grating when you get more than one per week."

The actual placement of the seats were aisle row and middle row-so neither of us had a window to look out of or wall to lean against, no overhead lighting or air vent either. Can you say "rip-off?" My husband, who is tall and broad shoulder was constantly being knocked around by the flight attendants and carts. This flight was miserable. I guess I should be thankful for the hour plus delay in departure."

Also asked insurance pay out limit of lost hold bag just in case. They refused to answer telling me I should buy a lock to lock bag in case it gets lost.What is that going to solve. Don’t go flying with BA if you have anything of any value or fragile."

I asked for preferential boarding, was given any. Asked for assistance with security, this was only given after I had to fight for it. Staff need to be aware that when we ask for it, it’s not because we want preferential treatment, we are trying to avoid a meltdown for our kids that get super stressed out by situations such as these. My child cannot stand still for long and runs away. When I stopped him to talk him though the process so he doesn’t run, we got hurried. Empathy will go a long way...."

Leaking emergency exits that cover passengers in condensation."

The check in staff refused to accept the baggage allowance as was shown in the ticket . They insisted that the agent issued the ticket wrongly and they will only allow 2 pieces weighing total 30 kg. It was embarrassing as we had brought luggage as per tickets issued. IF THE AGENT APPOINTED BY OMAN AIR HAD ISSUED A WRONG TICKET, IT IS THE PRINCIPAL WHO IS RESPONSIBLE WHICH IN THIS CASE IS OMAN AIR. IT WAS A BAD EXPERIENCE AND OMAN AIR HAS TO COMPENSATE. The entertainment screens did not work for quite some time."

Then at airport was told i missed my flight...completely maddening and had to throw a fit before they finally booked us on the flight we were told by phone we had yet didnt seem to register in their systems."

There seemed to be a problem with the air flow: it was really hot on both flights."
