One guy told her she could board but the gate agent said no it didn't fit and she couldn't board. Then the agent claimed she had to gate check her bag and claimed there were no overhead spaces left. So everyone after that had to gate check. When I boarded there were at least 8 empty bins and I had not even gotten to my seat in row 22. The gate agent lied and slowed down the entire boarding process because she want to win a fight and show dominance over a passenger."

I could have used my Smart Phone but it's kinda on the small side to watch a full length movie and drain my battery to 0. The Air Canada website was equally not helpful. I had to purchase their Ipad rental for $10 Canadian Dollars in order to watch a movie. Funny, they only had maybe 12-15 movies to choose from. Additionally, the bathrooms were disgusting and had broken parts everywhere. Flight was filthy. Looks like their just trying to scramble turning their flights around. I felt sorry for the people waiting in Honolulu for their flight back to Vancouver. Shame on you Air Canada. Time to upgrade your fleet please. You need to have better cleaning crews and definitely upgrade your Rouge Player system to accept PC's."

I paid one-third the cost of the ticket to cancel it and then had to book another ticket closer to departure which was more expensive. Have never heard of such a thing. I live overseas and but had a valid U.S. visa for my travel, but couldn't change planes without applying tor a temporary resident visa which takes longer to obtain than the time before I needed to fly. Very upset and disappointed. Will certainly avoid purchasing from Air Canada again."

And it was hard to hear which zone they were boarding since the passengers were so noisy. there should've been lanes for the different zones so they could usher us all in orderly. It was a chaotic mess without lanes. There was no entertainment if you didn't download their app onto your electronic device. No snacks were offered either. I didn't pay for a meal but it would've been nice to have some pretzels or something like that. The controls for the lights, and attendant call button were on the hand rest. It was very uncomfortable since it was a raised section, and more than once I turned on the light without meaning to do so. I won't fly Air Canada Rouge ever again, if I can help it."

This transfer of flights was not booked with sufficient time between them given the long distance walked and the slow security process. I will avoid this airport in the future"

Air Canada personnel on this 2nd flight did not do a good job of communicating information to the customers during the delay. Air Canada booked be on a 3rd night that lead me to only get 3 hours sleep in a hotel. AC does not work with the customers when booking flights. they just make changes after the previous flight has left the ground."

It's also a good thing that I had a movie option because if I didn't then my entire flight would have been filled with the sounds of some children's show that was blasting from a parents laptop and could be heard throughout the entire plane. I was really surprised that none of the flight attendants either asked them to turn it down to a reasonable volume or requested that they give the child headphones."

Not all of the bathrooms were functional during the flight. The entertainment system is available through your iphone, ipad or computer. If you haven't downloaded the app prior to departing you can't use it and you then need to rent an ipad for $10 to watch movies."
